WOW!!!! This is the best eye doctor I have ever seen. Dr.Shah exmplained everything to me. I have never had an eye doctor give me as much information about my eyes before. I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old. Everytime I had aeye exam it was "You need glass and that it"....But Dr. Shah explained to my why I need glasses and what could have been done to help as a child. Who knew this could have been correct as a child. Oh well.... BEST VISIT EVER!!!!!! OH and his staff is the best. Saw a steal on groupon and yelp reviews, so I decided to drive myself to LA to get a check-up. I am really grateful to have landed with the opportunity to meet the wonderful doctor and optician. He informed me a lot of things that I should have known a long time ago, however, it wasn't to late to maintain the health of my eyes with all the information he had provided me. Discovered this gem by buying an Amazon Local deal. I had LASIK surgery about 8 yrs ago and noticed my eyes getting a tad bit fuzzy as of lately and decided to get them checked out. Dr. Shah was absolutely wonderful! He was very informative and honest by telling me not to run off and get a LASIK touch up just yet because my eyes could still be in the process of changing. I also found out my eyes were very dry (which I didn't notice) but I did know that I have allergies which he also told me. Overall my experience was great. I do need glasses again but only to see distant things and drive. No pressure while choosing frames or lenses and the staff was A+ also. What more can you ask for?! read more

I've gone to plenty of optometrist in my 27yrs of wearing glasses/contacts. Dr. Shah is better than most of the Ophthalmologist I've visited. He is thorough, knowledgable, patient and most importantly, HE LISTENS. He carefully listened to my concerns and addressed each one with an explanation, as well as a solution. He took his time during our appointment and didn't rush me out. Front desk staff member Susan, is a super sweet lady. Rely on yelp so much so I gave it a try and made an appointment. The receptionist lady was nice and accommodating. After the paperworks filled up I proceed with my eye exam. Dr. Shah was very nice and straight forward. I wanted to have a contact but he didn't recommend it since I only have an astigmatism. He promised that if I atleast wear my glasses for 3 months it will be corrected. Oh well then, give it a try again. I'll try hard to wear my glasses as soon as I get it. The only downside was they don't have much of variety of brand frame to choose from and again the lady said there's no obligation to get frame from them but since I'm already there I still get atleast a decent name brand. read more

Dr. Shah and his staff have proven to me that service matters. From the time I arrived to the time I left his clinic it was a very pleasant experience. The friendly greeting that his staff has given me when I walked in. Even though the wait was less than 5 minutes the staff was so friendly and talkative it felt like seconds. I've been wearing glasses for 12 years and this has been my best experience thus far. Not only was the service second to none, the pricing was excellent! Yearly, I spend around 4-500 on a new pair of glasses. I spent less than half of that at Dr. Shah's office and left with a thorough understanding of my condition. He also made recommendations but did not shove them down your throat like other practitioners. Dr. Shah is very professional and he advises you to take your time so that you can make a sound decision once you've examined all of the variables. Came here the first time with a Groupon thing and thought to myself that it was going to be a hell of an experience. I called the same day i bought my groupon and made an appointment 3 days after that... To my surprise the visit turned out to be awesome. Staff is very nice and friendly and Dr. Shaw was amazing...
