About a year ago I went into LensCrafters to get my first reading glasses prescription and I wanted my experience to be Unique so I bought my self a pair of Meta Glasses with transition lens and Video and Bluetooth the works. Being so new to technology I wanted to learn everything about fist new glasses and Bamm!! I met Amanda such a very intelligent attentive young lady. She explain how to work the glasses with such detail and she was smiling all the time and was very helpful We downloaded the Meta app and connected to my phone so I can record videos and take pictures cool I was a kid with a new toy... Thank you Amanda for that experience you let me have and thank you to all the staff that work in me getting my new glasses very very satisfied. I bout an extended warranty for my glasses and yes I came back for a new set and not only I have no problems getting a new pair I got upgraded to Meta second generation for free since gen1 was not available anymore I believe I only pay a copay of $100 dollars. I have been coming to LensCrafters for a few years now for my yearly eye exam, and I ONLY schedule my appointment with Dr. Jenny Park. I absolutely love Dr. Park! She has the most charming personality! She's sweet, knowledgeable, and always makes me feel welcome. What I appreciate most is that she remembers the conversations we had during my last visit a year ago! It is personal touch that makes all the difference. The staff member who conducts the preliminary eye tests is also very kind and welcoming, which adds to the positive experience every time I visit. Not to toot my own horn, but... toot toot! I have had 20/20 vision since elementary school, and I always made it a point to take care of my eyes. I know vision tends to decline with age, but mine has stayed steady at 20/20 and sometimes even 20/15 on a good day! I can usually read more than half of the letters on the 20/15 line. Some of my eye-care habits: I never look directly at the sun (part vampire here), I'm hardly ever on my phone (too much screen time isn't good for your eyes), and I rarely watch TV (unless it's basketball season!). That said, my job does require me to spend more time on the computer, so I make a conscious effort to take visual breaks: I get up, walk around, or close my eyes for a moment. With the shift to digital work, especially since COVID-19, when my screen time increased, I noticed occasional headaches while using the computer. Dr. Park suggested more frequent visual breaks and a pair of glasses with a very light prescription and blue light blockers to help reduce eye strain. I ordered a pair and expect to pick them up within the week. She said to only use them when I have to be in the computer for long hours and that help with the headaches. Overall, I keep coming back to this LensCrafters for my eye exam because of Dr. Jenny Park! She is simply the best. read more

I had a purchase made 2 weeks ago , maybe more for both my son and daughter and I have only received 1 pair. This is insane! This has never happened before, to top it off my "warranty" was apparently expired and I had to pay again when all I wanted was the lens to be replaced because of a scratch on my sons glasses. No customer service at all. After entering I went to the counter and asked for prescription Ray Bans..."in the front, pick out what you want and bring it back here"....was the first response. Wow! No help, just a do it yourself kind place now. I found 2 pairs that would work but I needed advise on the difference, so I went back to the front desk as originally instructed, and then was directed to "go sit down, it'll be a minute"....not friendly, not unfriendly....robotic. After 25 minutes, with 4 employees talking, going from front to back, on the phone, on the computer...I left. No attempt to help,assist. or even SELL. Won't be back!! read more

I came into the location to make an appointment to see the optometrist. I asked the ladies there , if there was an optometrist on site. Mrs Jocelyn was quick to answer "There are no appointments for today." In a short tone seemingly too busy talking with each other not wanting to assist me. I don't know if she was having an off day but the tone in making just an appointment was rude and off putting. I was not looking for an appointment for today but to schedule one for a later date. Her attitude seems to be too much of a hassle just to make a future appointment. If just making a simple appointment was too much of a hassle from their internal employee conversation then I'm re thinking my business is too much of a hassle as well. I will be canceling. I lost my eyeglasses so I needed some new glasses ASAP. I called LensCrafters in advance to see how soon they could have my glasses ready. They told me they could have it ready on the same day (which is awesome, because most places take a week or more to make) so I scheduled my appointment with them. Shortly after arriving, Olivia brought me in for my appointment. She's a sweetheart, she even let my boyfriend come in with me for support lol she started off the appointment with the eye pressure test (where they puff air in your eyes) & took pictures of my eyes. Olivia answered all of the questions I had regarding my eye exam. I literally thought she was the doctor because of how informative she was. But after taking the photos/eye pressure test, she assured me Dr Park would be taking over to complete the rest of the eye exam. Dr Park was great as well! She went over each row of letters to test out each eye to see which lens would work best for my new glasses. She was very patient with me, as I would switch back & forth to see which lens was most compatible for my eyes. She also went above & beyond by giving me recommendations (ways to prevent dry eyes) after completing my eye exam, I went back to the main room to browse the store for my new glasses. Jocelyn is the one that further "assisted" me. Although, this is where my appointment experience drastically went downhill. I paid for my eye exam & I requested a copy of the receipt (so I can get reimbursed by my company) and I even requested a copy of my eye prescription (to keep with the rest of my medical records) but she refused to give my my eye prescription & gave me some BS on how she cannot give me my prescription (even after I paid for it) which made me feel extremely uncomfortable (because I was planning on buying my glasses from LensCrafters anyway) She measured my pupillary eye distance & went over pricing. At this point, I just wanted the appointment to be over with so I could get my glasses already. After I refused to get additional add-ons (like blue screen protection, etc) she told me my glasses wouldn't be ready until the following day (even after I confirmed in advance about the turn-around time) I was desperate for my glasses so I paid & left. End result: I'm happy with my glasses (they weren't cheap: I just learned they have cheaper options near the back, but it's practically hidden lol) they have a wide variety of designer brands, if that's what you're looking for. And on a positive note, this place is open on Sundays! read more

I called all day and asked all my questions before going into the store ( it's out of my way so i wanted to be sure ) just to be told completely opposite things in person AND in a rude way. To the lady at the cash register, With peace and love,just go and find a new job honey. You're miserable and rude and it doesn't seem like they trained you or you have any interest in this profession. I hope you find happiness and stop being a total B word to the paying customers that are coming in. Let me tell you, I actually had high hopes for a positive experience here. I was stoked that they had better availability than target or Walmart optical, my usual go-to places. The optometrist herself was beyond amazing. But I'm honestly shocked that I had better experiences with target and walmart. First of all, I think the other places have more transparency on what they have available. This place hides all the more affordable frames towards the back near the desks and it almost looks like that area isn't for customers. Ofcourse all the designer stuff is at the front. No worries for me though, I was looking to spend a little extra this time. I was here to buy both glasses and contacts. next, when I had finished up with the optometrist, the girl who assisted me really struggled with her job. Didn't remember the right code to use for my insurance. Couldn't remember how to enter things. Blamed the new system. ok, whatever. She asked about the UV lenses and I specifically asked if there was any color to them. She said no and I said perfect. I asked if the the glasses could be shipped to me. She said no. Please remember this for later on. I asked for solution and a contact lenses case to purchase. She seemed to have trouble at the register and forgot. I didn't want to bring it up so I left. I get a call that my contacts were ready. I said I would wait until my glasses were done. 2 weeks later, I go pick up my glasses and contacts. GUESS WHAT COLOR MY GLASSES LENSES WERE?! Yellow. Hahaha! Like seriously? And then guess what they offer that they said before they couldn't do??...if I would like them shipped to me. Oh and they blamed the system. Again. They didn't offer anything for my time and trouble, even knowing that I wasn't from the area...Just that they would try expedite them getting fixed. The funniest thing of all is, as they brought the glasses to me, they told me they noted they were yellow when they knew I wanted clear. Why didn't they notice this before I got notified that they were ready for pick up? So I come back a week and a half later and the glasses were correct this time. Then they brought up something about a refund. I wasn't made aware of a refund. So then they say "oh..the refund was for someone else" which I honestly didn't believe now. Either they were being stingy or they really do mess up a lot. They can't even keep track of things. All in all, if target and Walmart have their ducks in a row and optometry isn't even their specialty, I really feel LensCrafters should too considering that this is what they do Day in and day out. Ordered a pair of glasses online, needed to have them adjusted to fit me better, this is a decent sized location in Los Cerritos mall, there weren't too many ppl on a Sunday afternoon so we didn't have to wait long. The lady who provided the adjustment service was very nice and patient. My Burberry glasses were not that flexible, it was not easy to adjust them, but she did her best. Had a great experience today with Sandra, she was super patient, helpful and informative. I had gone on Sunday for an exam and unfortunately the person who checked my insurance couldn't find my info so I paid out of pocket for a full eye exam, luckily I called a few days later to inquire about my records and I asked another time if they accepted my insurance and Angela was able to verify and sure enough they did. I was able to get a refund/payment adjustment and use my full benefits. It took me a while to decide on a pair if glasses but Sandra allowed me the time and space to make up my mind without pressure. She also gave me quotes with their current promotions in the event that I want to take advantage.
