We were heading back to the San Gabriel Valley from Las Vegas (late Sunday night) and ended up with a major tire puncture and resulting flat tire when we stopped for dinner in Hesperia. We called AAA and then their tow company called us, told us that he would not be able to get to us for a few hours and suggested we call Dr. Tires. Dr. Tires was nearby and was able to get to use within about 20-30 minutes. He jacked up the car, took the tire off and was able to repair and it get us on our way quickly for a $75 repair charge (which is way cheaper than the ~$500 it would have cost us to tow the car to a repair shop near our house). He sold me a bad tire for $200 dollars, took the tire back and has not given me a replacement tire and is now dodging my calls and texts. I have been trying to reach out to him for two weeks now. He was answering my texts and calls at first but now he is just ignoring my communication and I am out $330 (I had to buy another tire because the tire he gave me was bad). The following are a few details as well as our communication: -I hit a pothole on the evening of 2/5/23 and had to go to the side of the road and I found that about ten cars had also hit the same pothole due to the heavy rain and were waiting for assistance. We had all blown out the same front driver side tire. I had called Dr Tires to help me change the tire and here are the bullet points of my experience: -I called him at approximately 9:37pm and he said he would be there in 40 minutes, he did not arrive for 2 hours and I had to call/text him for confirmation and he would give different time frames as we waited in the rain -While we waited in the rain after an hour and a half my car battery died which meant that even with the tire change, I would not be able to drive home. I had to call triple AAA, which said that they would take about 3 hours to come and give us a tow. -Once he got there around 11:45pm, he was able to replace the tire for $200 but they threw the tire down a dirt road and we could not retrieve it as I wanted to see if I could get money back for it due to the pothole. Sadly, we were not able to find it -Triple A arrived around 12:20am (now it is 2/6/23), and we did not make it home until 1:30am. -The next day, the tire he gave me was flat. I had to go to work so I went to get the tire fixed because I thought it had a nail in it. The tire place said that they could not fix it because it was not a nail but the tire itself that was the issue. They did not want to attempt to fix it because they stated that the tire would "blow up" while I was driving and did not want to put me in danger. They said that whoever sold me the tire had ripped me off. I had to purchase another tire and installation for $150 -I called Dr Tires and explained the situation. He said that he would get the tire and give me a new one and help me mount it to a rim. His dad came in their work van to pick up the tire. This was 2-3 weeks ago at this point -I have yet to get my tire back and I call and text him to get updates. He always responds with a text saying that he will call me back but he does not. And when I call him later that day, he has an excuse every time. He says that his "tire shipment has not come in yet" or "once we find a rim I will bring it to you". -I have asked to just have a replacement tire or a refund but he is no longer responding to me. My initial interaction with him was on 2/5/24 and it is now 2/25/24. Almost three weeks and this has not been taken care of. I have lost over $300 due to his negligence and lack of professionalism. Buyer beware! Have the following in writing when you call them for mobile service: The types of tire brand and used or new). Cost of each tire. installation cost. Warranty if any. Have everything in writing be it a text msg or an emails. Verbally confirmed tires are new when in fact tires are used. Even used tires should last longer than 6 weeks. Two used tires with installation cost plus tip resulted in almost $600. Serious rip off and safety issue. I am lucky that my car dealership caught this issue in time. read more

We just had a less than favorable experience with Dr.Tires. We had an appointment for 11am today. He showed up at 2:30 pm with zero reason except "I didn't know I had to be here at 11", "I stopped off and was sightseeing in the way up" "stopped off on the way and took a couple selfies". We had asked for updates and was given 2 very inaccurate etas. As if this wasn't bad enough, our experience got worse. My boyfriend has a nice STI with nice rims, with Toyo 888 tires. The guy that showed up 3.5 hours late went to change the tire on the rim, and in the process damaged it. Not only did he damage it.... but he didn't say anything about what he'd done, walks pit to the van and starts wandering around the van looking for something and comes back and starts doing something to the rim. He hands my boyfriend the tire/rim, who set it down on the ground. My boyfriend Pays the guy, wheels the tire back into our garage, looks at the rim and notices the damage and the attempted coverup of the damage with a sharpie marker!! He turns around, and the van was already gone. He text messaged the company right away who was quick in responding with an apology and an offer to fix the damaged rim. This is a nice service, and we were impressed they had the Toyo 888 tire! but I feel the guy who showed up did a very bad job of representing them. read more

Got a recommendation off of Facebook for a cheap tire change. Justin was super fast at replying and was very professional. My mom needed her tires replaced and he patiently explained to her what was done. It's not easy for a woman to find a shop to trust but my mom felt that Justin and his team were very honest. She did not feel ripped off and they even went above and beyond in helping her check her transmission oil, breaks and engine oil. They let her know that her muffler needed to be fixed and gave her a very reasonable price. Justin even offered to give me a call as I'm not in California to make sure I understood what was going on and my moms english isn't perfect. I loved how he took the time to go the extra mile.
