First Things First come here with an appetite because they will stuff your plate with a ton of amazing food. I hadn't eaten all day and still didn't finish my plate. Ditch Panda Express and come to Dragon Express its cheaper, taste better and the customer service here is impeccable. While here there was a very rude customer and the staff handled the situation so professionally if it were me I would of lost it. Fried rice is great, BBQ Pork is amazing. The Teriyaki chicken is so great and not chewy its perfectly cooked. The orange chicken was a little too crunchy for my liking but overall amazing experience and amazing taste here. This is certainly a "hole-in-the-wall" type of place. They always have great service and even better food! THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE. How is this place not 5 stars? I have been here three times since they opened and I am not disappointed from a price-food ratio. I paid about $9 for 3 items, chow mein, and two spring rolls. This food is pretty decent, but not Panda Express. First off, they load your plate with about twice as much as Panda, so automatic win. Second, the food is pretty tasty, not top notch but definitely enough to keep me coming back. Third, the servers are actually nice (and Chinese speaking), gives it that authentic feel. You get more than you'll be able to eat for $9, you will enjoy it, and you will like the service. I must apologize that I'm not a foodie connoisseur like half these reviews, but for the local Joe, this place can't be beat. Ever notice how Panda seems to size the portions so carefully? Cook to order was only average-did not even resemble the photos on the menu. Protein pieces were buried in the noodles making it seem more like a bowl. Order the steam table items because it wasn't worth the additional cost. read more

When I ordered the combo plate they asked if I wanted rice, noodles, or a both. I said both. They loaded it into a styrofoam container. The main course had to be cooked, so I sat at a table to wait. But when the food arrived, it was on a plate AND there were no noodles. The amount of food was tremendous, but it was predominately celery and cucumbers. I had the chicken, beef, shrimp combo plate but the meat was severely lacking in balance compared to the amount of vegetables; not to mention there was basically no difference in taste between the three meats. This suggests that it was all simmered in the same pot. Additionally, the beef had a mushy rubbery texture. It was so unlike what beef should be that I started questioning "is this really beef?" The sauce was on the bland side, and you could taste that it was made from low budget ingredients. The serving size of the rice, however, was enough for a meal all by itself! On a positive note, the restroom was immaculate, and everything was in order. The prices are fine, but the problem is they've traded quality for quantity. I would have been more than happy with even half as much food but better quality which could have easily boosted my rating to 4 stars. read more
