My first time coming to this place I didn't really have high expectations. The people there were really nice but I server didn't really care for us. I ordered crab cheese wontons that were completely delicious and so good. But when I ordered The sesame chicken and the side noodles I was completely disappointed and it hurt my stomach and I probably won't come back. The side noodle doesn't come with any sauce which I thought was very weird. And the sesame chicken was very dry and hard. The only thing that was good was my drink and the cream cheese wontons... Positives - the price for the lunch special is great. I also liked that you can sub any protein in any dish. Buuuut... the food itself is very Americanized Chinese food. There was nothing authentic about it. Taste-wise, it was really bland. You could get a similar (maybe even better) experience at Panda Express. read more

This is my go-to restaurant in Fort Collins. I practically have to make roll-call here or they become concerned with my whereabouts. They're incredibly accommodating, and their food never fails to satisfy me. The food is authentic and genuine. Very poor experience. My wife and I ordered two entrees, General's chicken and Fire Volcano chicken for takeout. When I arrived the person at checkout verified my order which is good but they had it as Sesame chicken and FIre Volcano chicken. Sesame chicken is #9 on their menu but General's is #9a... I used both the number and the name when ordering and it was repeated back to me correctly over the phone so it got mixed up getting to the cook. To rectify this they dumped the sesame chicken back into the wok and poured General's sauce on it and brought it back, not a good solution in my opinion. They also added some raw broccoli and onion instead of stir fried as typical in General Tsao's . Sadly my wife's meal was no better as it was perfectly cooked ingredients but had no sauce to go with it. It was supposed to have a fresh chili in ginger and garlic sauce but alas it was just the base ingredients with nothing added. To top that off they sent it with two of the typical white rice containers that had burnt white rice in them. Not sure how you miss burnt rice but either they did or they noticed and sent it anyway. Horrible food. If you know real Chinese food you'll be extremely disappointed. I ordered chicken wings that were literally so dry that it felt like I had bit into a piece of cardboard with some sort of corn syrupy sauce on it. I also ordered fried dumplings that were deep fried and hard as a rock. I didn't bother ruining my pallet anymore so I passed on the dumplings and asked the waiter to take it back and ate some of my girlfriends soup. I'm not normally one to complain but my experience here was truly pathetic. I felt so sorry for my waiter having to serve such a pathetic excuse for Chinese food and left him a good tip and apologized for being THAT guy but the food was awful. My intentions with writing this review wasn't to be mean. I'm sorry if it came off that way but Chinese food is something we love and know. This was FAR from good. What a shame. :-( read more

The portion sizes were small. There was plenty if room for mote food in the containers and i feel very upset that i paid so much and got so little. I got food for my sons birthday and it didnt feed eveyone like it should have. The curry chicken didnt have enough flavor. The lo mein was thrown into a weird container than the other food. This is now my favorite place to get Chinese in Fort Collins. I visited the week they opened and had the hot and sour soup as well as the curry chicken. Both were excellent and the ingredients were obviously of good quality. My 3-year-old son, who shared the soup with me, enjoyed it so much they brought him some more. Service was reasonably fast and friendly. The owner came over to speak with us and make sure we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was clean and the prices were reasonable. I went with a friend to eat, the food was great! The only thing that was an issue for me was their parking lot was extremely pack and their restaurant was empty. Jayson I have a thing about an empty restaurant but we were assisted by Fisher who was an amazing waiter. He was very knowledgeable about the food and made our visit a great experience. Very good Chinese food, way better than everybody else in Fort Collins

I am not sure what The one star is about? Spiteful-ism? This place is a wonderful turn around and 100 times better than the old place. The food is more organic and the oils are delicious instead of leaving your stomach upset. The Chinese broccoli is wonderful and all of the Ginger tofu dishes are killer! I love the service now and its actually better service as of late than the Thai place next door. The number one change is how clean this place is now! Before it was kind of gross.
