The service it what makes this place. The techs are very nice and attentive. When you walk in everything looks a little dingy and dusty. I came in on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty. The regular polishes were a bit old, but they know how to get the job done. The price was commiserate with the service $40 bucks for the standard pedi and the massage chair was great! If you need nails done in a pinch this is a decent spot. read more

I REALLY try not to leave negative reviews for small businesses, but my experience at Dragon Nails was so bad I still feel disappointed months later. I took my mom here while she was visiting from out of town to pamper her -- and it ended up being almost $200 wasted. From the start, it felt like they didn't want us there. The staff rushed through everything, and I'm not sure the instruments were even sanitized -- we only saw them pulled from a bag and then put back in, never from a sealed pack. The salon itself felt grungy and not very clean. The polish was caked on, and because they didn't let it dry properly, both of our nails had bubbles. My mom's manicure was so messy she took it off as soon as we got home-- and I redid her nails myself, which I should have just done from the beginning. My mom is too nice to ever complain or make them fix it, but it was extremely disappointing. Shockingly, they even had their 14-year-old son helping with pedicures (and honestly, he might have done a better job than the two adults). The owner seemed more skilled, but whoever worked on my mom was careless. I still tipped 20%, but left very frustrated. My mom still talks about how bad it was months later. This salon had a different owner a few years back, so I can't help but wonder if that's where most of the older positive reviews and better experiences are coming from. I came here a few weeks ago and I've been meaning to write a review for my great service. Tina was very nice and welcoming, when I asked if they had a certain color (to match my nails) she took her time to look and let me look through as well. I got a pedicure with designs, it can be a little pricey but I understand because it is a small business but her work speaks for itself and the pedicure lasted over a month! I went here today with my little 5 year old daughter for a mommy daughter date. I usually go to Oceanic Nail and Spa but we were going to dinner after. I ended up at Dragon Nails since I had a UPS drop off. My daughter and I received a pedicure with callus remover and gel add on for me. I should've left when she kept using the machine to take off my gel polish. It's proper to soak off but people always want to speed the process and damage your nail bed. My nails were poorly painted and my cut down wasnt uniformed. our nails were complete and my bill was over $100. WAIT YOU CHARGED MY 5 year old full price??? I was such in a rush that I didn't think about it until later.. like what did I just pay for. Never again. Oceanic charges me $15 for my daughter and does an awesome job every time. I'm disappointed! Their Massage chairs are definitely worth the prices. However If you came for Nail or Foot service, I'd RETHINK!

They do not like for you to pay with anything but cashapp or cash. Very inconvenient and for not great quality. They are nice until you do not want to keep adding on extras. Very expensive for average nails. Miss the old salon that use to be there. I will not be returning! read more

I will not be returning to Dragon Nails. I'm disappointed in the service I received. My pedicure started off painful. I had to tell the nail technician twice she was hurting me, she cut my cuticles so deep it's now painful to put pressure on my toe. She stopped during my pedicure to wax 3 customers and was away for almost 15 min. I was left sitting in the chair with a wet cold towel on my legs. When she returned I told her that I wanted to leave, she insisted on continuing the pedicure only to rush. She did not scrub my feet , massage, and barely applied lotion. The service I paid for was to include all of that. My polish was poorly applied. When I brought to her attention that the polish was messed up she said I could return to have it fixed however I'm not comfortable with her touching my feet again. My concern now is having my toe examined by my doctor and hoping it heals with no issues . read more

The best hands down in Laplata. Prices are good being you get great service. Tina the owner is very professional and is always being sure her customers leave happy. Iv never in the last 3 years had a issue with my nails and if by chance I do it's always fixed. Very clean and everyone is so welcoming. I've been going to this place for sometime now. The service about 5 months ago was much better than today. The owner isn't friendly & welcoming as she once was. The way she acts w/ some clients & then treat others like we owe her our service is down right hurtful & disrespectful. It's nail salons everywhere however we decided to patronize this establishment due to convenience of the location & the great customer service that was given months ago. It's also bothersome that the nail techs don't last especially when you get used to one in particular- it's very unsettling. I have never been so disappointed in an establishment as much today. This supports the theory of how bad customer service is currently. I took my 82 year old mother for a day of pampering to get her pedicure and manicure. Just us girls.. much needed, the service was absolutely awful. My mother's pedicure wasn't to anyone's standards and when presented with the evidence to correct the problem/concern the technician became offensively obnoxious. My mother was tired and wanted to get home, and she is not confrontational. I on the other hand wanted the issue to be resolved or simply removed from the invoice for the pedicure. I was totally willing to remit payment for my pedicure and my mom's manicure. When asked for a detailed invoice to ensure the bill was corrected I was met with more further resistance. The technician went as far to state "if you don't have the money it's not her issue". Lord please have mercy!! This was to supposed to be a day to assist my mother to feel like a princes and turned into a day of frustration for her. Please beware!!! No apology was ever extended!! read more

Been here a few times. Staff is very friendly. Some of the techs are slow, but overall they do a good job. Darren does the best nail designs. If you are picky don't have anyone else do them. Some of the gel polish is kind of cheap, but just ask if you want a specific brand. Never really crowded and the prices are good. Thumbs up overall. read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Worst nail salon experience of my life. Let me just start with the atmosphere. The lighting was like a psychiatric hospital and the TV was blaring fanduel commercials. The place is not relaxing at all. Nothing spa like about it. I called ahead to see if they could take a walk-in, which they said they could. When I arrived, I could already tell they were disorganized, staff rushing around, etc...I almost walked out but I needed my nails done. They handed me a large "ring" of nail colors on plastic sticks that were VERY hard to manipulate and see colors. There was zero reasoning to how the colors were organized. Just a huge mess. When I went to sit down, the pedicure chairs were VERY close together and they had these flimsy plastic COVID screens in between each chair, that would wobble and threaten to fall over anytime anyone moved. The guy assigned to me RUSHED through everything and was very rough with my feet. I screamed "ouch" at least twice and I have tough feet. The water in my foot trough turned freezing. When I walked in, I had asked to have matching gel manicure and polish pedicure, you know the sets that come together in the little box. I was still trying to work my way through the mess of the nail color selection with big tin foil caps on the tips of each finger. When I FINALLY found a color that I liked, he disappeared for about 5 minutes and came back to tell me the colors in the set didn't match (they were literally two different colors) so I chose another color, he disappeared forever, came back and told me the same thing. This happened a third time when I finally said I wanted to leave. They charged me $45 to basically remove the polish on my toes and fingers. The owner did not handle this like an experienced, professional owner would. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I went to this nail salon to treat my daughter for Mother's Day. My regular salon, MV Nails, didn't have any openings. I do not recommend Dragon Nails. I made an appointment the day before and when we got there on Friday (before Mother's Day), they said "we're busy can you wait about 20 minutes." Okay, we waited, then we sat in the water another 25-30 minutes. Then, the service was awful. They had the grandmother servicing me. The technician servicing my daughter was pleasant but rushed through to help pitch in for the grandmother. If you go here go at your own risk. Upon walking into the building it was crammed, messy and understaffed. The nail artist who did my nails did a terrible job, she was rushing through the whole process. She cut my nails so short and then filed them down so much she rubbed off the skin on my finger tips. She also cut open one of my cuticles with the drill bit used to take off gels and acrylics and continued to go over the spot after it was clearly bleeding and hurt. My nails are all uneven, jagged and there is dried gel polish all over my skin because of how messy she was. This was by far the WORST service I have even gotten and I truly wanted to just get up and leave the whole time. I would not recommend this place to anyone, you are better off doing your nails yourself at this point! read more

I had high hopes walking into this place. I went in to get a full set only to find out after the fact that they charge more for different shapes. And most of the time the lady that was doing my nails was on her phone (texting and calling). Which explains the mess up she did. Before painting my nails I noticed my pointer finger's acrylic looked crooked. When I tried to tell the lady, she looked at me like I was stupid. So then I just thought to myself well maybe it's just my mind being picky. But nope on my way out I looked at it again and it's definitely crooked. Needless to say I won't be back again read more

Prime reason why you gotta do your research before spending your money for services. I seriously started to leave when I entered this establishment for a pedicure. I went on because I didn't want to waste my day off. This place is in need of a makeover. Got a pedicure here. It was very reasonably priced. They took their time and I loved the finished product.

The stuff where friendly but they were under staff and I waited with my feet soaking for 23 mins to be exact. I felt like I got a rush pedicure the bottom of my feet don't feel smooth like they should. And they use something that looks like a damn cheese grater on my feet read more

Every time I go in my wait is less then 15 minutes and my nails come out great every time. Price is affordable and shop is clean.
