There was another Chinese buffet here before that was in the space that this current one is at that was not good at all. Now under new ownership, we gave this new place (or at least new to me) a shot ... and it's a HUGE improvement from the old place! Wide variety of yummy food options here, great service from staff, prices are more than fair, it looks really nice inside, plenty of seating, and everything looked clean and orderly. If you don't want people in your restaurant until 9 pm like your posted hours are, you should stop serving at 8 when we arrived. Throwing our sodas on the table, spilling half, I'll give you one. We know you need start to break down and clean but putting up the chairs directly behind me, hitting me with one was a bit rude. Throwing your dirty rugs next to my table trying to rush us was even worse, but then at 8:50 our plates were taken from us. That was the last straw. I spent over 20 years in the service industry and could not believe what I experienced was possible but here we are. I really enjoy this buffet. I noticed that they do catering style take out. Reading the prices and sizes it is just called a tray so I wonder if that is a full tray or half tray. I like the Mongolian grill. They always have seafood on it. This buffet has all of my favorites and they have lots of sauces Love that they have jalapeños on the grill and red peppers. This is a great buffet. You walk-in and it is big and has high ceilings with fancy chandelier. Front desk checkin process is smooth and they are very efficient. The food is the main attraction here you have crawfish, sushi, snow crab and lots of other Asian dishes. If you want, you can put the things you like on a bowl and they will stir fry it for you. I'd say my rating is more accurately a 3.5/5 instead of 4/5 but I'm going to round up as my husband enjoyed it a fair bit more than I did and I feel like that counts for something! To start - the far and away best part of this place is the Mongolian stir fry section. My stir fry was out of this world. I love me a good Mongolian stir fry and was elated when I saw this buffet had one. I would've loved some more topping and sauce options but I was very happy with what I ended up making so I could see me being content on a future visit! We went for dinner and the price was to be expected for buffets with all that is going on in the world. While I didn't feel I got my full money's worth my husband ate enough for both of us so I think we ended up breaking even there! This place has a ton of seating and seems to be pretty updated - aesthetically it's very nice looking. There is a WIDE variety of seafood options if that is something you enjoy, however, if you are like me and a noted non-seafood eater you may have a tough time finding something you'll like. I would've loved some more beef and pork dishes, there were a handful of chicken ones and they were just okay. There is however a large salad bar and a nice assortment of desserts so that is an option as well. Service was pretty meh, I would've liked a refill on my drink (or even the option to speak to someone to get a refill) but alas that wasn't in the cards. This is my first review on yelp despite using the app for 10ish years. The food is cold despite there being lots of steam from the baths . If lukewarm is your favorite temperature, this place is for you. Maybe it's because they pile the food way too high? I don't think I've ever been grossed out at a buffet, but this one did it for me. Cold chicken wings, cold sesame chicken, warmish garlic pepper chicken, almost hot fried tilapia, warmish donut, warm fried rice (bland), room temp sushi, the Mongolian noodles were really wet, maybe the garlic bread was ok? Hot and sour soup was an A Chicken wings were an A+ And they have the grill type that Khans Mongolian barbecue has and they had lamb and for me that a bonus. it was a solid B++ The place is huge and they have so many choices. It's just ridiculous. The only thing that I didn't like about it was over all of the steam pans on the buffet I mean almost overkill full. That means the stuff on the top might not be maintaining a hot temperature and my God what does the stuff on the bottom look like after an hour ? Let's start with misrepresentation. I've said "I've said I never met a crab I didn't like" Someone once said wisely to me "Never say Never" Today is that day. They claim it's snow crab. Alluding to Alaska Snow Crab. Not a chance. Notice how they don't put photos of their "snow crab" it's because whatever these things are, no meat at all to be found in a claw. They are 98% shell. After just having sepsis, I'm terrified of some foods. Mussels were great. Shrimp weren't deveined or shelled, I skipped that. Fruit is very fresh. Pineapple is fantastic. So with tax, $27.02. I've only gone Fridays and Saturdays. Been here a handful of times in last 6 months. Twice they didn't have blue crabs but other weekends they did. Last time was 3/15/24, the softshell crabs were delicious. Rest of food were flavorful as usual and has good variety. read more
