Arrived to 3 tables and pure silence. Food came out in a to go bag. I was given a paper plate for their mistake at the counter. The items were fine. Nothing overly memorable. Rangoons straight cream cheese. Rice simple. Beef cooked nicely. Little heat despite extra spicy request. Egg roll crispy but zero seasoning. But to pay $30 for a sit down meal with 1 paper plate and a plastic fork in awkward silence is something that I will not do again. Staff member on phone entire time behind register. There's a wait to be seated sign but not sure if they didn't feel like doing table service as I had to go to counter. Buyer beware !!!!!! first off the is mediocre at best second off if you order over the telephone, you must pay over the phone with your credit card as opposed to paying with cash when you get there otherwise they will not cook it until they've received full payment! This place was decently close to getting a 5 stars from me. However, one item I tried was essentially inedible, and it was an entree, so I can't give the, full marks. Tonight, I had the fried donuts, mango cake, and roasted pork egg roll, and honey chicken. The first thing I tried was the mango cake, which seems to only be seasonally available. It was very, very good! It tastes homemade too. Not too sweet, fluffy, and delightful. You won't feel terribly full or on sugar-overload after finishing a few of these. And, the value is amazing: 3 pieces for just over $2! (4.75/5) Next, I tried their roasted pork egg roll. It was also very good. The pork didn't really taste "roasted" but it was decent. They give you plenty of sauces to dip the roll in (duck, soy, mustard). It's crispy and filled pretty well (4/5). Their donuts were also delicious. Clearly they are quite simple to make, but again, the value and flavors matched my expectations and definitely satisfied me. A full 10 for just $6 and change. Plenty of sugar drizzled all around them. (4/5) Now, for the only majorly disappointing factor in this meal, the honey chicken. If the entree is terrible, the rating and pleasure you get from a meal is going to drop significantly. Here, it was just a mess. Gloppy, most breads, soggy, no flavor in the sauce. Portion size was okay, bit smaller than other places but it's also cheaper. I will say that I like that they are using white meat chicken. (2/5) They give you the standard free fortune cookies with any visit or order. There's also complimentary free rice with every entree, I believe. But, their rice is a bit weird. Small kernels and odd aftertaste, too crunchy as well. (2/5) All in all, this place definitely has some delicious options, but some entrees miss the mark entirely. I recommend staying away from the breaded/fried meat options and choosing something like ribs or chicken and broccoli instead. Mango cake, egg rolls, and donuts are quite good, though. read more

Delivery was quick and arrived hot. Decided on Chinese take out after a long Sunday of running errands. I was surprised at how quick the food arrived. The spring rolls and egg rolls were still hot and crispy. We both ordered mai fun noodle dishes to keep it light. I had the chicken mai fun which was warm upon arrival and flavorful. I didn't eat the entire serving but I wasn't left feeling bloated or tired when I was finished. It was also nice to have left overs for lunch on Monday. After reviewing the other reviews on this place, I can see that things have changed here. Wanting food and not wanting to cook or go anywhere it's always great to know you have choices in the area for delivery. Hungry, we got the menu and jotted down everything we wanted and called in our order. Calling in the order was quite easy. Bing, bang, done. We were quoted 45 minutes for our delivery, but I kid you not, it was there in about 25. So I guess they were super fast at cooking and delivery. I ordered my old reliable, General Tso Chicken with white rice. The broccoli that came with it was crisp, I like that little bit of crunch you get. The sauce wasn't too overpowering. Sometimes you get a sauce that can be way too spicy or way too sweet, but this one hit right in the middle and was satisfying. I had also ordered a vegetable egg roll. Amazing. When we had ordered we had asked for sauces to come with, we got more than enough sauces which is nice since some places don't send any at all. The best Chinese takeout food I have ever had, and I'm a fanatic of all Chinese takeout. Prices are extremely reasonable and the service was very brief but welcoming. it took THREE hours to get jack and shit from them. it was excuse after excuse on why my food was delayed. at first it was due to high flow of take out and online ordering, That's fine I work in a restaurant and I can understand. then an hour and a half passes to find out they LOST the ticket to even give my order to the kitchen. when I was told the owner was coming in to personally make my food and give assistance to the kitchen, I understood and continued to try to keep a good mindset. i eat here often and I know the food is typically really good. We've always ordered from this place since it's so close and I loved their pork egg rolls. The last three times I've gone there my entire food was like nothing but grease. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second time I was cautious since it happened again. Haven't ordered from them for months so last night figured we try again. The restaurant originally quoted an hour and 15 minutes past that time, I had to contact the restaurant to find out where my food was. When the food arrived, it was mostly cold. I contacted the restaurant for a discount and they refused. The food was okay, but I couldn't really tell because it was COLD. I would not order from here again, especially with their terrible customer service. The wonton soup had greasy broth and fatty pork in the wontons. What I got was naked chicken, and a ton of onions and celery, with some gross white sauce. I called the restaurant and the woman that takes the orders was very apologetic. I would like to give 3.5 stars. This was our first visit since the new owners took over. We met someone who appeared to be one of the owners. He was extremely friendly and seemed very excited about his new venture. I really wanted to love the food here, but it was just Okay. I have definitely had worse Chinese food. I got the sesame chicken. There seemed to be a flavor that I wasn't use to being in this dish. It took me off guard, but I did get use to it. The chicken wasn't really the problem, and based on that alone, I would give it 4 stars. Unfortunately the fried rice was just so -so, but cost an extra dollar. It's definitely the best place for Chinese in the nearby area and I will be eating there again. When I do, I'll be getting the white rice and saving a dollar.
