Small and out of the way but Great tasting food for take out. Definitely going to hit this place up again!

Anyone who knows Chinese food, is that it's hard to find that one spot that your going to enjoy and be happy with. I have been so used to ordering orange chicken with having to suffer through chicken pieces so fried through, that the chicken itself turns to bone. Well, low and behold, I believe we have found our "take out" spot for Chinese. And I don't like to exaggerate, I'll be honest when I take issues with service, or food quality, but I had no reservations for the dishes that we ordered. It was a night that me and my wife felt lazy, and decided to make a quick dinner decision out of it and ordered from Dragon. Food was hot, orange chicken was surprisingly soft and so sticky from the sauce, the fried rice had these big pieces of chicken, definitely not something I'm used to, but very delicious. The beef and broccoli was also great, but I can easily say that I had no complaints at all. The family tore into the containers, which had that familiar smell, that you can only get at a Chinese restaurant. There is no question, that we will return to this location, and enjoy another dinner. Check this spot out. read more

I have had delicious dinners from here before (years ago!). The last few times have been okay at most. This time, I ordered General Tso's Chicken. I asked for extra, extra spicy! The girl who took my order didn't repeat it back to me on the phone. So, I called right back and asked if she noted on my order that it was supposed to be extra, extra spicy. She said yes. When I got there, they made two! I explained what I had ordered. She gave me the one with no broccoli (I had it omitted, then added water chestnuts and snow peas). She said she would give me the hot oil. Well, needless to say, she didn't put the hot oil in the bag. I opened it when I got home. It is disgusting! The chicken looks and tastes like it's been cooked to death. Dark edges and hard. No flavor to the egg rolls. They were disgusting too! Needless to say, I'm done with Dragon Village. read more

I'm a truck driver, and when I'm in the area, I order a Happy Family, Egg Rolls, and Fried Rice, it's really damn good, highly recommend.

We're locals and have ordered takeout periodically for Dragon Village. It's not my favorite Chinese takeout but it's ok. The recent order was Orange Chicken Combination Dinner and the General Tao's Combo Dinner. I prefer the white rice, which they kindly separated into a different container. Otherwise, it's all smashed together in one plastic container. The chicken was kinda stringy and rubbery this time, but edible. Each enter includes two pieces of broccoli. Egg rolls are greasy and kinda mushy. The service is efficient and satisfactory. They always pick up the phone, get the order correct and food is ready on time. So that's all good. The restaurant has some seating, but it's bland in ambiance. It's more of a takeout place than sit-down restaurant. If you do dine in, there will be a line in the middle for takeout pickup. If I can, I'll choose Panda instead. read more

We stopped ordering from them for a while but have recently started ordering from them again. We have continued to have issues with our orders but they usually offer to make it right. read more

This is our takeout go to. Never disappoints. Combination dinners are very reasonably priced and delicious which include rice and egg roll. We like general tso's, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken and war su gai in our family. Have also had their lo mein, crab rangoon and soups. All tasty and good size portions. They will make spicier if you ask and one child doesn't like veg in his fried rice and they'll accommodate our requests. You can eat there if you want. It's a small space but they do have tables. Dinner was fantastic. We ordered ahead and I was so impressed by the safety measures. Dragon Village is one of the few options in Pataskala for some Chinese. It's much better than one thinks. There's a few locations in Licking County. It has mostly the same menu. There's the usual Chinese items but they're done well. I had the General Tso's Tofu. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. This is a good amount and if it's only for you then you don't need any more. It comes with huge pieces of tofu, which are crispy enough instead of almost mushy like many fried tofu at Chinese restaurants in Columbus. The meal also came with a good assortment of vegetables. It has really fast service as it took only a County Levon minutes until it was at the counter. There's a bar right in the strip mall you can wait until you get it. If you're in a hurry go to Dragon Village. It has fast yet good food. The inside is clean but most take it out. read more

Good spot for a quick lunch, I normally call in my order and pick it up. The food quality is consistent and always hot. Have not had a bad meal there. I normally get the spare ribs, it has a great sticky sauce. The General Tso's chicken is always good. I read the reviews on Dragon Village and I thought I'd give it a try. I had the Mongolian Beef and hot and sour soup. The Mongolian Beef was spicy, but otherwise lacked flavor. There were carrots and water chestnuts in it also. I would leave those out. The hot and sour soup was ok, but not good enough to bring me back. Dragon Village was on par with my expectations when I was craving Chinese take-out. I arrived to pick up my order ten minutes after I called and then only waited another 5 minutes. The food was hot and fresh! The staff members were very pleasant. I really enjoyed the Crab Rangoon the most. The flavor of the cheese filling was so yummy. I also ordered Orange Beef, but was a bit let down because the pieces consisted mostly of breading and hardly any meat. The sauce, however, was spicy and delicious. Lastly, I ordered the veggie Lo Mein, which contained plenty of veggies and had a nice flavor. Why I ordered so many items just for one person, you may ask? You may think it's just another run of the mill Chinese place, but believe me when I say that this place is an absolute gem. When I lived in Ohio, I'd go here all the time. And now that I'm in Utah, I dream of this place. Nothing I've found in SLC has stood up to their Sesame Chicken, not even close, and believe me, I've tried so many different places. This place is by my job. They have good portion lunch specials and taste yummy. The lunch specials don't come with an egg roll so I order spring rolls with them. You get two spring rolls in an order. They give you sweet and sour sauce instead of plum sauce, but they do have packets of duck sauce. There aren't many options for good Chinese food in the area, but this is one of the good ones.
