I decided to wait in the lobby area until someone showed up but no staff member did. One of the class members eventually told me that I could grab an available bench and I did. It had been a while since I did strength training so it would have been nice to speak with someone prior to jumping into the class. Overall, I did enjoy the workout and it was challenging for me.

They were offering a free class, so I signed up. Booking was simple, and even rescheduling was an easy. When I arrived, Yash greeted me with a warm smile and gave me a quick tour and overview of the place. Then Stephanie took over -- she was just as welcoming, and she walked me through how the workout works and what OrangeTheory is all about. For a first-timer, I think I did pretty well! I even had that "good sore" feeling the next day ~ the kind that makes your body say, "You should be doing this more often." They also explained the pricing. It's $30 per class if you pay as you go. Turns out, I am one for group classes; I just needed to find the right group and the right classes. The Fitbox community is incredible, and that includes the trainers and the clients. Everyone is super supportive. It doesn't matter if you've boxed and lifted weights for decades or the thought of wrapping your hands or picking up a dumbbell gives you anxiety. You'll fit right in.
