I love this wine so much! Everyone was so helpful and nice. I was able to try four different wines and they all are wonderful! I left there with 3 different bottles. Great for Christmas gifts. I will be bringing all my friends out to for a tasting. Highly recommend!!

Who would have thought there would be such a spectacular winery located in the town of Stetson Maine. My wife and I, along with my nephew and his wife, choose to end our camping weekend with a little wine tasting. My nephew and his wife had both experienced Dragonfly Winery a couple of times and recommended it highly. Both my wife and I enjoy a glass or two of wine from time to time, however are pretty particular with the taste, enjoying a sweet wine over the usual red or white. This evening we choose 6 different wines from the wine list. We both instantly fell in love with four out of the six sweet wines. The four wines we found exceptional were Candle Waster, which is the winery's most popular wine and has a cranberry flavor. This wine came with a story as Justin, our server explained. In the old days, before electricity, people would enjoy a bottle of wine by candle light and due to the fact that candles were expensive they would be "wasting" their candle. The second wine we tried was called Witches Brew. This wine, which is made for the Halloween season, has both a sweet and tart taste. What a trick or treat gift for that special spook in your life. The next wine we loved was Second Chance. This sweet and tart blueberry based wine came with a story as well. Justin claims that the wine makers made a wager on whether or not one party could get a quality wine from already squeezed fruit and if they could the owner of the winery would get a set of dentures. With some adjustments with the recipe and some out of the box thinking, Second Chance, was born and with that the owner got a fresh set of choppers. The final selection was Blueberry Bliss and has a distinct blueberry flavor. Overall, the wine was fantastic and our server, Justin, kept us entertained with his stories and some crackers and dark chocolate. We will defiantly return to the Dragonfly Winery to have a magnificent experience again.

This winery is a must see! The grounds are gorgeous, the vineyards are easily accessible to see where they grow their own grapes. The building where the tasting room is located is cozy, quaint and very stylishly decorated. They rotate out their wines seasonally and have a wonderful variety of port, white, fruit and red wines. They generously offer complimentary tastings and the staff is warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of the business. The wines are delicious and very affordably priced. There are several local retailers selling this wine now but don't miss out on the experience and ambience of visiting this gem in person!

It's very much off the beaten path but an absolute worthy spot of taking a detour for! The dirt roads were very well maintained though I must say. Once you arrive they have a giant parking lot and then once inside you step into a beautifully designed rustic space. If the weather is nice they have some absolutely stunning views you can take in outside while enjoying your beverage. During our visit, I will say a large portion of the space was in use for a party/event. Despite this the staff were very warm and welcoming to our party and even tried to create a private lounge like space for us. I very much appreciated the effort they put to make us feel welcome. I wish the weather would have been a little nicer to enjoy outside! I got their vanilla hard cider while my wife got their blueberry hard cider. Both were phenomenal. They also offer flights for only $10 and even have suggestions for some mixing of ciders including a fan favorite mix of blueberry and maple to create a blueberry pancake. I have had this blend previously and it is amazing! A spot worth adding to your list to visit for the breath-taking views and delicious drinks!

Thankfully we made it for their last open weekend for 2021! Service was extremely friendly - and we learned a ton about the winery and their practices. My husband listened to a podcast about the winery (which is why we'd wanted to visit), and the owner used to plow only using a horse. They have since switched to more modern ways - but I love that their wines are all-natural and with as minimal intervention as possible. The wines themselves are fantastic!! We had a 1/2 pour of each of the six offerings (sparkling white morphos, sparkling rose morphos, Chardonnay, cab franc, merlot and a cider) and I truly was surprised to find they are all GREAT!!! The sparkling white and Chardonnay were my favorites, but the reds were nice and dry and full of flavor. The cider was also dry and tart - it is lovely! The rose morphos was a bit too sweet for me, but tasty nonetheless! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area!
