Bottom line up front: their crepes are crisped, put together well, and full of flavor. This is far from a soggy, overfilled mess of a crepe. While I almost always think sweet over savory for crepes, it was lunch time so I opted for their vegetable crepe. It was really good, but honestly not as perfect as my kid's version. They split one with pesto, mozzarella and tomato and it was incredible.. maybe the best pesto I've had in a long, long time and I've had my share of it this summer. Their menu is robust but also not overwhelming; almost everything sounded good and you likely can't go wrong. This is a bit random but I have to shout it out: their food truck generator seems dramatically quieter than other food trucks, and it makes the whole vibe around it even better. Kids crepes are around $6-7 bucks, and the others are around $11-13. All in all, I'm a fan and if they want to keep setting up in Brookside on Sundays, they'll know me by name before too long.

Ok but you rang it up, didn't ask anyone so how's then did you know you didnt have two of the six things you have on the menu? We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. Not sure what her issue was. Was it we weren't regulars? Because if so, as a small business-good luck growing your business catering only to your 20-30 regulars. I will say, it was a solid cup of coffee though.

I especially enjoyed the experience of picking out my own tea, weighing it, and labeling it myself--it felt much more personal and relaxed compared to the usual rush and chaos at the market. That was definitely a highlight for me. I also tried their mango peach topper smoothie and added chamoy and Tajín--honestly, it was so good. I definitely should have gotten a larger size because the regular just wasn't enough. That drink alone is worth coming back for. The only downside was the customer service. The staff member I interacted with wasn't very knowledgeable and wasn't able to answer my questions. At the market, I'm used to staff being helpful and able to guide me through different teas and their benefits, but here, most of my questions were met with "I don't know" or "I don't work with the teas." She did point me to a section on the wall with some information about the teas and their benefits, which was helpful to a point. However, there was one term that appeared on several teas that wasn't explained on the wall, and she wasn't able to clarify it. I ended up looking it up myself, which wasn't a big deal for me--but I can see how that could be frustrating for someone new to loose-leaf tea who's relying on staff for guidance. Overall, a nice location with a more relaxed and personal shopping experience, but improved staff knowledge would make a big difference.

I grabbed an iced, unsweetened, black tea with some passion fruit popping boba. It was very good. The tea was strong but not bitter. A good brew. I was very happy about the self serve teas. They have a nice selection I was very excited by the fact that they carry Pu-erh which is not found in a lot of places. It's a very robust black tea. And they had regular and two flavors. I wound up picking out 4 to try but then my boyfriend pointed out the sign painted on the wall that if you buy 5 ounces, you get 1 oz free. I thought well, I'll just grab 1 more and get a free oz since there were a couple more I wanted to try. When I went to pay at the counter, I was told that was an old sign painted on the wall and there is no such deal anymore. It's literally a huge sign right where you measure out your bulk tea. It should be removed because I wound up buying 2 extra teas I would have waited on if I hadn't thought there was a deal. I probably should have argued more about it but the store was about 15 minutes from closing and it was obvious the young woman running it was ready for us to leave. The shop is cute but the false advertising really brought down my review. I hope they will get that changed so others don't have the same disappointing experience.
