I gave them a call on Friday for a non-emergency plumbing issue and they were able to fit us into the Saturday schedule without any issue -- something I was not necessarily expecting, so double points there! Pat and Jeff arrived promptly (they were even a little early for their appointment window!), worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves like true professionals. They took the time to explain what was wrong and helped me to understand my options/costs so that I could feel confident that I was making the right decision. We used Drain-EEZ to install a sink and garbage disposal and hook up all the coordinating plumbing during a kitchen remodel. On the day of service, Lou showed up at our house. The headline here is - he is fantastic. He simplified our plumbing, actually ran out to Home Depot to get a missing part, came back and quickly installed everything. In addition, he took the time to educate me on how to fix the garbage disposal if it ever jammed and gave me a wrench/key doo-hicky to fix it myself. Our garbage disposal broke suddenly in a fairly uncharacteristic way. These guys were extremely responsive and easy to work with - they had us text a picture so they could review the problem ASAP, then guided us where to find a replacement part at the cheapest cost to us (as opposed to trying to sell us a marked up part like most would). My experience with Pat at Drain EZZ was nothing short of an exceptional one. After business hours we noticed a leak in our kitchen faucet and made a phone call to Pat. He walked us through turning off our water and assuring that everything would be ok until the next day when he could come for an appointment. He would've came that night, but felt confident we had the situation under control. Katrina made scheduling convenient and was extremely quick to follow up. When Pat arrived he was able to identify the problem within minutes! We needed a new faucet, which we didn't have at the time. He offered to go pick one up for us, but we opted to save him the trip. My sink was backed up and the garbage disposal was making bizarre noises, so he asked me run it so he could listen to it on the phone, then he told me to fetch my plunger and walked me through how to loosen the blockage and get the garbage disposal working again. 10 minute phone call, for which he didn't get paid anything, and my problem is fixed! I had a clogged kitchen sink and very slow draining shower. I called around 7:30am and got a call back within an hour. The customer service person was able to set up a visit same day and she was very nice. Pat came out and was able to fix both issues in very little time. I was looking for a plumber to help me find out the source of a leak in my apartment that was causing the downstairs apartment to periodically get water dripping down from their ceiling. Fantastic service!!! Pat acutally rearranged his schedule on a Sunday morning so that he could take care of my plumbing needs. I will be moving into a condo that formerly had renters living in it--they did not take care of the home at all. One of biggest problems was indentified by Pat. I am a new-ish homeowner and this was my first experience looking for a plumber. I found Drain-EEZ on yelp (of all places) and the reviews are good. Now I know firsthand, the reviews are accurate. Pat and Jeff came out to fix what I imagined (and hoped) was a simple problem - slow kitchen drain. Unfortunately, it was a bit more complicated than that (broken pipe, black sludge...you get the picture). Pat answered all of my questions and prepared me for the worst. !st floor Condo in Elmwood Park, il Monday late PM. Found pipe leading to street plugged up, which was also connected to the 2nd and 3rd floor kitchen drains. Since the sink water from the 2nd and 3rd floor could not get to the street sewer line, it all came up through my kitchen sink and flooded a good part of the condo with greasy, foul smelling waste water. We had a sump pump seize up on us in the basement. It was quite old so it was about time. We were expecting some weather soon and wanted to get this taken care of as soon as possible. I was able to make an appointment with Pat for the very next morning. Lou installed the new sump pump and made extra sure that there were absolutely no leakage in our system so there aren't any puddles when the pump is running. When my garbage disposal died, I looked on Yelp to choose a plumber to install it. It seemed like all of the 5 star ratings were too good to be true but this truly is a 5 star company. Lou came out today to install the new disposal. He was punctual (as a side note, I like how they give only a 2 hour time window instead of 3 or 4 hours ), efficient, professional, friendly and very thorough. He took extra time to check for leaks and potential leaks. I especially liked how he took the time to explain how a disposal works and what to do if anything were to get stuck. Pat and his team were very professional and most importantly did a great job installing a toilet flange and replacing the wax ring on our toilet. The plumber (or contractor) who previously installed the toilet did it completely wrong. It wasn't set right and leaking sewer gas. Pat fixed this and also installed a new rubber flapper (for free). He also gave me some tips to replace the leaking toilet shutoff valve so I was able to do it myself as opposed to having to pay to do it. This saved me $$$.
