I have worked with Kelly Brown, a designer with Drapery Connection on a couple of different projects in our home. The first project was custom bedding and draperies for a bedroom that our youngest daughter grew up in. We started with a blank slate and created a fun, young and colorful room that our daughter now stays in when visiting and loves it! It couldn't have turned out more perfect. The second project we worked on was custom bedding for the master bedroom. While this proved to be a little more difficult because of existing draperies and fabric covered chairs in the room, Kelly came with many, many fabric books and we spent countless hours going through books and finding fabrics that created a beautiful compliment to existing things in the room. I will work with Drapery Connection always and forever!! I can't believe that they were able to do what I dreamed about. My breakfast nook has a turret style area with curved walls and windows, I wanted something that would be curved and be really elegant. Four places told me it couldn't be done, and when I called Drapery Connection without hesitation they said absolutely they could do it. I was nervous that it wouldn't be what I wanted, but the designer was able to explain what it would look like, she even sketched me a picture, and how it was going to be made to fit to my size. During the preparation for the open house event of our new offices, we found we needed blinds for some of our offices that were of an odd length. I was on a a strict budget and even stricter deadline. Julie was wonderful!
