I love this center! My son has been to 3 centers and this is by far my favorite one for his ABA therapy. The whole team loves him! He is excited everyday to go and he talks about his Behavior Tech on weekends, he wants to be there always! Love that they have us parents go in weekly for parent training as well. Wow what an amazing location for kids-a dream room literally. They have different themed rooms like space/kitchen/art/trains/music/doctors waiting room/dinosaur excavation room/nursery/etc all under one roof. It's so clean inside with no shoe policy and the toys are clean. I've been to other places where the toys are filthy and look as though they never wipe them down. This place is the opposite. The day we went they also had the monrovia fire truck come outside and give the kids a demonstration of the uniform, air tank, and let the kids operate a mini fire hose. It was amazing. My son didn't want to leave. Make sure you feed your kid first or bring lunch because your kid will not want to leave. You can bring a sack lunch and there's a designated room to feed your kid and eat. Wish I could come back but only open weekdays for public and weekends is usually for parties. read more

This children's center did a really great remix on the idea of a play area. There are 11 different rooms and each one has a different theme. There's even a main area with a stage so that each child can get their Princess/mermaid/Beyonce on. It's around the corner from a pub as well as a pinkberry. Hey you dads, I'm not saying to get your pre-game or post-game on but it's certainly an option. Just kidding, Mom's. :) The great part about this place is that you can essentially let your kids run from playroom to playroom whilst you relax and chat it up with the other adults. As a fun weekly summer treat, I'll take my son to venture new indoor play places to stray from the heat! This was my first time coming to the Dream Big Center! I'm not sure if it was the time I went, but there were probably 2 other kids there. I mean it's totally fine, I figured itd be a nice chance for my kid to play with all the toys and run around. I was expecting they would possibly have a slide and things to climb on but they did not. They mostly had rooms for play time. The place is spacious, and there are various rooms that have a dedicated theme to it. example: A grocery room, a baby room, a train room, sand room, galaxy room etc! The rooms wrap around the space and they have a neat stage area in the middle. My only cons would be: 1. I wished they had some slides or things to climb on in there for the toddler who likes to be supper active! 2. Their Sand Room is a great ide and fun! However, I'd recommend maybe getting kinetic sand or the newer type of "sand" where it's actually tiny cuts of rubber. My kid tried eating, well he did eat some sand by accident, and I noticably left the room feeling sticky and dirty. Other than that, still a nice place to keep your kids occupied! read more

My kids absolutely love this place! We celebrated my daughters 5th Birthday here last weekend and everyone had a blast! It was super easy registering online to host her party here and 2 weeks before the party I was contacted and given the concierge treatment of really being heard out on how i envious es her birthday to go from decorations, activities and food. Deeana provided great resources and suggestions. On the day of the party we arrived 30 minutes early to setup by Morgan and another staff. They were super friendly and helpful. They right away dove into opening boxes and setting things up nicely for the party. During the party they remained helping keeping count and fretting guest, making sure we stayed in schedule and just being there when I needed a helping hand. The kids enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The whole time you heard laughters and screams of joy. The facility was very cleaned and had enough activities for kids up to 10 to do. Not one child was bored. I highly recommend this place and adore how professional and sweet everyone was. They made me and my family feel extremely welcomed and delivered above my expectations. Love this space! Unfortunately it's not close to us, but my daughter's auntie brings here 1-2 times per week and she has such a blast. There are several activities and rooms to explore - a little reading room, cafe, dr office, grocery, etc. they also have a room w air hockey and ping pong which is great if you have a toddler plus an older kid. My nieces or nephews hang in this room if they tag along. The snack table room is separate, you can bring your own food or buy something small there. I appreciate that they have slippers outside the restroom since the play areas are socks only. Overall it's a fun spot for your little to play and meet friends indoors on a hot day! I love the music here too, it makes for a chill vibe. read more

We had our son's 4th birthday party here and it was great. Here's why: 1. Place is very clean and you get it all to yourselves for 2-3 hours. 2 hours is standard but we added one extra hour. 2. We had two helpers and they did everything. When we got there everything was already decorated and they had even blown up all our balloons. 3. It's a pretty big place with several smaller play rooms so it didn't feel crowded. 4. We hired Spider-Man to come and there was plenty of space for his superhero training. 5. We added a water dispenser and coffee station. I brought some more tea variety since they just have regular Lipton. They have liquid creamers and sugar and sweetener. Overall great party! Love this place! Had my daughters 5th birthday here 2 years ago. It went perfectly! Staff was amazing and helpful through the whole process - from first contact through yelp to all the way till the end of the party! Communication was excellent! We have also went to many of her cousins and her school friends bday parties here. Always amazing! Been here for my 4 year old sons school class get together and if we ever have a day off school during the week days, we always stop by here for couple hours of playtime. Always amazing! Staff is always amazing and place is always CLEAN! But why have I finally decided to write a review? The owner. I'm here today and as I'm letting my 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter play in this clean and secure environment, not like a outdoor park (yes, I'm on my phone and watching my kid's at the same time - judge me if you must, but it's SAFE and small enough I can hear them...‍). The owner is always kind and pleasant when she greets us. Always a smile! All owners do this or should do this. The owner CARES! This is why I'm writing this review! She walks around and smiles and greets everyone and engages with the kid's. Not just a "hi". But actually talk to them about what they are playing with. She did that with my 2 kids, but also other kids at the place! She's hands on which is amazing. Just a great place for kids and you feel the love and care! Sorry kids want to leave now. What a neat place! With so many different rooms there can be a lot of families and it doesn't feel too crowded. We came on a rainy day and there were lots of kids which was nice. We had the option to be social or find one of the empty rooms to play in. You can come and go as much as you want throughout the day and there is lots of imaginative play possible here. At $10 for a child and parents free, this place is a deal! My daughter loved the art room- because of course she wants to play with the same things we can play with at home! She loved the space room because what kid doesn't love jumping in outer space! I seriously loved ALL the rooms! She got to play supermarket with other kids, ice cream shop, doctor, we read books, the fun never stopped! I highly recommend this place! I'm SO SO SO happy I booked this place for my sons 2nd birthday party today even though I've never been here before. I didn't want to take the chance of a rainy day, so I booked it back in December and was so glad I did since today was the most crazy rainy day I've seen yet! So why did I choose this place? Well, my son was pretty much over the whole jumper and slide indoor playground at other different places. I've past by this suggestion on yelp sooo many times; but one day, something told me to read the reviews. When I did, what caught my eyes was when I saw someone said it had a lot of different rooms in one huge place. That's when I knew this was the place I wanted for his second birthday! Anyway, all the staff there were so helpful and even all my sisters said they were really nice! They helped set-up and even gave me reminders about photos and singing happy birthday. Because I brought so much food and drinks, I pretty much used up 3 tables for it. The main center room had 2 connecting rectangle tables for about 14 people, and lots of chairs on the side for people to sit. I kind of wished they used the "children's sitting/eating" room for more adult chairs and tables because a lot of adults still had to stand around and eat. The kids barely sat down to eat in there so I thought it was a waste of a room. Other than that, ALL the kids had a blast! It was so nice to stay in the center of the place and see all the kids play through the see-through windows with very minimal supervision. My older sister loved it so much that she booked her daughters first birthday here for May! So we will see you again soon! read more

Brought my 4 year old girl and 8 (almost 9) year old boy to Dream Big for the first time yesterday. They had an absolute blast. I'd only allowed 2 hours playtime being I didn't know what to expect, but my kids could have literally stayed all day. I was concerned about my son being entertained in a mostly toddler aged environment, but air hockey kept him busy and he even spent a good deal of time in the "store" area. Overall, the room themes were cute, the place was super clean and there were plenty of places for parents to sit and watch the fun. Next time, I will bring lunch and use the eating area to get more play time. read more

Monrovia's best kept family fun secret! My 18 month old daughter loves Dream Big! I love that she gets to spend hours playing while also learning and developing physically (lots of sensory experiences). There is something for all ages. So nice to have a place in Monrovia where parents and kids can get together for fun that doesn't involve loud noises, blinking lights, and sensory overload (yeah, I'm looking at you, Chuck E. Cheese's!) The cost is honestly lower than I expected...we got the monthly package for $55 and she's already been 6-10 times so it has paid for itself. It is a little bit hidden but easy enough to get to if you just look next to Pinkberry. For those of you not near Monrovia, it is right in Old Towne so you can make a day of it with all of the shops and restaurants. The pictures I'm posting speak for themselves :) Hope to see more people there! Two tips: 1. Check their Facebook page because if they are hosting birthday parties they will be closed to the public. 2. My 2.7 yr old daughter and I loved this place. Our first time was last week. She loves the dress up area, the cafe, and the train room! This is a place to really utilize her imagination. Love that you can bring your own food and sit in the lunch room wit it. Older kids have options too :air hockey table, Legos, art/coloring room. BAM, look no further! dream big center has got to be the venue you pick! came here initially for a birthday party and fell in love with the venue. i knew that i had to book it for my daughter's birthday. there's special rooms that is set in different themes. a wide range of ages from 6 month to 9-10 year old. i loved it! it was the first birthday party that the adults were sitting around chit chatting with each other. so we booked it right away online for my daughter. deanna is great! super friendly and provides fast responses via text. they are very flexible and accommodating to our needs. they do require you to tell them the week before the final head count so they can appropriately arrange enough staff to work. parties are all 2 hour increments but you can book it longer if its available. we then had my daughters birthday party here last weekend and she had a ball. the staff was super great. they are super helpful. i didn't have to lift a finger and got to mingle with my guests. how awesome is that. they have tons of party themes to go by and fork out a little extra to get centerpieces and decor to match it. i say do it!! looking forward to throwing more birthday parties here. you should book it too! no need to think twice! they're awesome! tips: *street parking *restroom available *they have a website *they have a mobile party bus *they are a sock only facility *you can pretty much book your whole party through them. *release waivers are available online. read more

I've taken my boys -- 1 toddler, 1 baby -- to many of these indoor play places, and none are anywhere near as good as this one. The owner and staff are very friendly and genuinely care about the kids. The price is great, especially for siblings who get a discount. More importantly, adults are free, unlike Southern California Children's Museum. Also unlike SCCM, Dream Big offers free wi-fi! That's a no-brainer for adults hanging out while their kids play with other kids. The layout is fun to explore because there are multiple rooms, all with different themes, and the owner changes themes every few months to keep everything fresh. This excites kiddos ("Daddy, the truck room now has dinosaurs!") and decreases monotony for parents who -- like myself -- are there at least once a week (even more so in the summer because the AC is fantastic). One room that doesn't change themes, thankfully, is the baby room. As father of a 9-month-old, I really appreciate that mgmt thought to do this. Having a room dedicated solely to babies ensures that they won't accidentally get run over by older kids. The Myrtle Street location is ideal with free, plentiful parking and a frozen yogurt store that is literally right next door. A few doors down is a comic book store -- all perfect for kids (and dads who regularly wear Superman shirts.) I wish Dream Big was open on weekends (they are, though only for private parties), but otherwise I have no complaints. It's within stroller distance from our house, which is great, but even if it wasn't, I would still give 5 stars. That's a no-brainer. read more

Younger kids seem to play peacefully by themselves. The older set (mostly boys) run around like they own the place. My boys (3 and 5) absolutely love this place! They jump from room to room without stopping. We were just there today and we put on a performance of "happy" dressed as construction workers. :-) There are several rooms, each with a different theme. My boys love the construction site and dressing as astronauts in the outer-space themed room. There is also a craft room, baby-friendly room with books and soft pillows for parents to rest while their baby explores, a train room, building room, cafe, and a magnetic room where kids can create on the walls! Great place to have your kids to have fun. The only drawbacks for me were the stage stairs not child proof. The whole stairs plus the corner are quite sharp, I saw my child's head almost hit on sharp corner while he tripped himself next to it. Ping pong table's corners are not child proof. Attended a very lovely party today at Dream Big Children's Center. We were graciously greeted by Diana and she was readily available throughout he party. The facility is beautiful! There are several different theme rooms such as a creative art room, a sand room, a construction room, a game room with table hockey and ping pong, a baby room, and a train room. There is also a separate food room and a wide open middle area with a stage and comfortable couch. Everything was well kept and having so much set up before hand definitely takes a lot of stress out of planning a party. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place! read more

The manager Deena really helped me with the party date and made sure the party went exactly as I wanted it. Dream Big was amazing to our little one for 3 yrs!!!! this center based Behavirol therapy worked out so well for him. We had to drive out we were not local but the commute was so worth it. We were sad to actually leave after he started full time hours and he had graduated from the center based program which we were sad because our home is so small that in home based therapys didn't seem to work for him because it was his comfort zone and didn't want to engage in the assignment. i really recommend this Center base therapy. My son hardly ever has meltdown episodes and this is a result of early intervention no doubt therapies do work. Even if it's the smallest mile stones at a time. read more
