Over a year later this place is still here. It's comfortable and big. They have a food menu including breakfast. Service is not great not bad. It's dim lighting a few tvs and a lot of locals who come and hang out. They have tables and chairs as well as couches. It's a decent place for a quick bite drink and smoke. First off, the hookah is really good, and I say this because I go around the valley to different hookah places, and I'm a nursing student who just needs time to relax, and this place delivered! When you come in, it seems laid back so I didn't know what to expect, but the hookah was prepared amazing, no coughing, no harshness. And I love to try different food so the dish we got was calles "Mandi" was so good, it had rice w/ lamb chops chopped up inside of it and a side salad. First off, not a big lamb eater, however this lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection the salad also had some type of vinaigrette on it that was light so I was susceptible to try and it was amazing! Before we came I called just to confirm they were still doing hookah and the lady on the other end of the phone gave me a pleasant "yeah gurl". So, we arrived. When you walk in.... How do I say this, the smoke is so think you could cut it with a knife. Its super thick so youd need a butcher knife of saw. The waitress asked us if we would like to sit in the other room to which we agreed. Well, the other room was JUST as smokey. We sat, ordered hookah. The menu was sticky. Then they brought out the hookah. We each took 2 puffs and left. We couldn't deal with the lack of circulation. Id never come back. read more

I've driven past this place forever but finally stopped in one day when the Illy Coffee sign caught my eye. Exterior windows have food and hookah photos, and I hoped I'd found a great new coffee and Mediterranean spot. Approached the door, which was propped open, around 9AM. Inside was dark like a dive bar, and a woman was mopping. Not seeing an open sign or posted hours, I asked if they were open. "Yeah, but I want to clean right now." She turned around and kept mopping, totally ignoring me. I peered inside wondering if I was supposed to come in and wait for her to help me, but there weren't any lights on or any menus posted or located near the door, or any response from her, verbal or otherwise, about ordering... so I left, confused. I wrote that visit off as a bad day but popped in another time and my business was again turned away by staff who had no interest whatsoever in helping me. Hidden gem of hookah cafe 2 blocks west of the Palms. I've never had food or coffee, just hookah. My favorite things: - Price -Friendliness/outstanding service -Quality - Delivery service of hookahs and refills to Money Plays (next door) with no extra charge It is a little dark (though clean and not scary) when you first go in, but once inside you can immediately see friendly faces enjoying hookahs in the couch area and the service/coffee counter in the back. The music is low key Ethiopian music, as the staff is Ethiopian. I've never had any language barrier issues nor felt anything less as if I am being welcomed into their own home. Super friendly. The prices and quality are extremely good; refills are crazy cheap. They have enough variety in flavors to keep you happy and are open to suggestions if there's something you don't see. They will try to get it for you for your next visit. Your hookah is attended to often (no charge for coal changes!). Normally I go in and order and get the delivery service to Money Plays (my favorite LV bar) which is next door. You can drink, enjoy a band or lively conversation, eat some tacos (also delivered from an adjoining business) and enjoy Hookah and refill delivery there at no extra charge. I make sure that I tip the runners nicely. They even come over to check on/attend to the coals on a regular basis. Super good hookah, super good prices, awesome staff, and tons of options will keep you happy at this lounge. read more

I enjoyed the coffee here it was absolutely robust and flavorful. It was as if the bean was compressed so tightly that only a few drops slowly fell from the bean at a time the true meaning of drip coffee. I also enjoyed a flavorful hookahs. The decor is not pleasing to the eye however my eyes mainly stayed focus on the book I was reading while enjoying my hookers. The hostess a short Ethiopian I believe woman assisted me my setting up my hookahs and she did not mind reheating the fire cubes. I wish I could give zero stars. I don't think i have ever been so disappointed in an establishment. This is the absolute worst hookah lounge I have ever been in. Not only does it look run down and dirty, but the service was also horrible. I went in on a Saturday night with a co-worker. We wanted to have some hookah, drinks & food and listen to some music. Upon arriving there was only one table with people inside. I'm almost positive the people at this table were the owners. We sat down looking at the menu and decided against ordering food since the place looked so run down. We decided to just get a drink and hookah. On one tv college football was playing and the other tv had the news. We asked the waitress if we could put music on and she said no. It was so boring sitting there watching the news and we could barely even talk to each other as the tv was so loud. We only stayed about 20min because we were so uncomfortable. We paid our tab ($35 for 2 drinks and a hookah) We ended up going right next door to Lola's bar and grill. If you're ever thinking about coming to this hookah lounge please just go to Lolas instead. While they don't have hookah they do have amazing pizza and friendly workers. For pizza, wings, and 2 drinks each, it was $25 due to happy hour! I'll never return to this hookah lounge. read more

When you are Right next to a massage place and all your windows are obscured so no one can look inside - I already begin to question my decision to come here . Then I saw a sign on the door "we're open 7 days a week." Ok. I'm here let's get a quick espresso and leave . Pulled on one of the doors . Locked. Went to the other door locked . It's 10am MONDAY and you have larger than life advertisements for coffee. Why are you closed . Searched for any posted business hours . None . NONE . Go to leave and I hear the sound of a key turn from the inside (unlocking) . No opening of the door to notify the person who was trying to get it , that you have decided to open for business ... just the sound from inside of the turning of a key . I sat in my car and saw someone else walk up and enter . I was able to catch a glimpse of the dark and ominous interior , and is told myself ... this place is not for me . read more

They denied me access because I was not "old enough". The law in Nevada is 21+. I turned 21 January 6th, 2020. But got denied access because I was not born in "1998". They were rude on the phone and in their shop. I tried to explain to her that I was 21, showed her my ID, still denied me because I wasn't "old enough". read more

Yes this lounge is very chill..but the service is awful. They do not keep up with your hookah or even talk to you like you're welcomed. My friends and I were asking a lady to check the hookah because it was not hitting good. She hit it herself and told us "it's working just fine" then gave us attitude. We had to say "excuse me" at least 10 times to get her attention. The hookah itself is not that grea. The worker BROKE the hose right in front of us and just walked away to get a new one without saying anything to us. No customer service and cheap hookah. It seems really calm at first, but the service wasn't the best. Everyone around us was getting excellent service & it seemed to be because they were the same race. I felt very unwelcome just because of the color of my skin. & they wouldn't give us water & rushed us out of there. When we went to pay they just said the price, nothing more, nothing less. Best hookah I've ever had. The staff may not speak great english, but they are friendly and know what they are doing. The hookah tasted phenomenal and i am sure they make great sandwiches (I didn't order it as I had already ate). The atmosphere seems dark and intimidating at first but when you sit for a while, it becomes much friendlier. They play music from Ethiopia which has a nice steady rhythm that isn't overwhelming like some hookah lounges I have been to. Overall great experience and the next time I am in Vegas, I will be sure to drop in again. read more

First off let me just say that I am a hookah fanatic, and long have i searched for the perfect hookah lounge. Well, I found it. Everytime i went to any hookah lounge the music would be too loud, my hookah would taste burnt after a while, prices were waaay too high, and the service wasn't all that great. Dream Cafe was the ultimate exception. I found it by accident when me and my wife were looking for something to do, so we went in and asked how much it was for a hookah session. My mind was blown when they said 10 Dollars!! So we stayed an hour and for that whole hour their tobacco did not burn or get rough, and the coals were bright red all throughout. Just an awesome smoking experience. Their coffee is amazing as well. They have a brand name proffessional coffee maker. The coffee is bold but not too bitter, and just overall pleasant. I've also never had any Ethiopian food before, EVER. I talked to the staff about what i should order since i am in no way familiar with Ethiopian food. The staff kindly suggested their most popular dish and i went with it, and never regretted it. It was BIG, and enough for 2 people. Very good service, very good hookah, very good food. Ive been smoking hookah for 12 years and ive never tasted something so foul. The hookah was very unclean and the smoke wasnt even packed right. That combination lead me running to the bathroom so i could throw up. Unfortunately, i didnt make it and end up throwin up on my self. I went to the bathroom and finished up there and then took off my shirt and then my gold chain($2k). After i finished, i picked up my shirt and forgot my chain. I gave the lady there $80 told her i had an accident and didnt even make it to the bathroom. But $60 was her tip to mop it up. I returned the next day to ask for my chain, the cashier was stunned to see me and she asked me twice what i said even though i was speaking clearly and loudly. Then the owner comes out of no qhere and tells me for sure i didnt leave it here. He said i for sure took it with me along the shirt. In very dissapointed in my habesha people but hey in vegas i guess everyone could be a crook. read more
