The ambiance is amazing. I think having multiple TVs on playing various Latin music is a bit much, but still a great vibe. We only got a couple of appetizers that were fantastic as well. The problem is the wait staff. They very rarely checked in on us and even forgot a drink order. I'd say they were too busy, but the bartender was just standing around wiping down and putting martinis glasses away. Perhaps they just need more employees. We came here for a cousin's birthday brunch. We had a party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Twist by Heidy's vibes turned out to be the perfect entertainment for our kids. The ambience was so lively with tvs on the walls everywhere, salsa and other fun Latina music, and a buzzing crowd - so buzzing that in fact we could only hear what our table was saying - which I guess is the goal really :) One of my toddlers liked the music videos playing on tv which entertained her until the food came. I felt a little bad for our server. He was a nice guy but seemed new to the establishment and we were not easy customers to deal with (needed a lot of modifications). But, he definitely tried his best and had a great attitude which was very much appreciated- so shout out to that guy! At one point my mother in law asked to split her coffee into another cup because the tea cup she was given was too big for her to drink out of...and he tried to split it for her at the table itself and then proceeded to spill coffee everywhere. But, honestly the request wasn't an easy one either... The food and coffee itself were great. All the lattes I tried made me forget I usually like my coffee drinks dairy free. Maybe it was the sugar but I loved every flavor we tried, especially the blackberry mocha. What we ordered: 1.) Blackberry mocha coffee (5 stars) 2.) S'more latte which came with graham crackers crumbled on the whipped cream topping followed by a chocolate drizzle (4 stars) 3.) Chocolate chip waffle with strawberries and vanilla icecream (5 stars) 4.) Fried chicken topped on a jalapeño waffle (4 stars) 5.) 2 sides of cheese arepas (5 stars) I tried some of the street corn toast one of us ordered, and it was by far my favorite out of the offerings! The spicy chipotle sauce on the toast being the star. The waffles in general at this establishment were top notch. They came out crisp and didn't get soggy after a few minutes of being served. One of us ordered an espresso festive martini which looked fun and was presented on the holiday drink menu. Some suggestions would be to use less syrup in their drinks and more fresh product. The birthday girl ordered a passion fruit matcha iced latte which had the milk curdling with the passion fruit syrup at the bottom of the drink. I'm not sure this would have happened if fresh fruit was used or maybe better mixing technique was needed. She was too shy to reorder. Another suggestion is to offer toast dishes that do not all have guacamole! There were only 3 toasts offered on the menu and all included guacamole. Some of us can't eat avocado and coffee together :) All in all we had a good time and definitely will return back at some point! read more

The space was nice not too big, but enough tables. We had reservations for 930 and were 7 mins late, I did call to let them know that I was going to be 7mins late, however when we got there they told us that they gave out table but that the wait wouldn't be long. Exceptional ! Made daily with obviously fresh ingredients and our tastebuds are witness! No frozen garbage in Twist! We ordered the fresh made buttermilk chicken fingers which were not greasy and out of this universe FRESH and scrumptious and they are not stingy portions by far. Fries were fresh potatoes in various sized wedges and had great crisp, texture, and flavor. My kids are so picky and this is now a goldmine for amazing tenders and fries for them. The pulled pork sandwich was perfectly juicy as advertised and on the softest and freshest brioche bun I've ever had. Add the deliciously fresh cheese with a heaping portion of caramelized fresh onions and you have a simple masterpiece of a huge portioned sandwich. We were totally blown away. We've been waiting for a restaurant like this to appear in our area for years as we typically dine out in the Boston and Cambridge areas. I'm sure once the word gets out that Cambridge and Boston residents will head to Tyngsboro. Justin, our server, was spot on helpful, informative and attentive as well as very friendly and welcoming- far better than our server at Abe and Louie's in Boston. It truly is a hidden gem and despite no big signs allowed it will 100% rock this area. No big sign is required as the food captures your senses and you will easily find this diamond on your own. This is such a cute restaurant and also clean. Parking is limited with a small lot so carpool if possible. The staff were all attentive and friendly, especially Heidi who was working at the bar this morning. I had their chicken and waffles and she gave me some hit honey with it and it was so good. My partner got the Farmers dish and that was very tasty too. He had the Caramel macchiato and I had the iced lavender tea which we both enjoyed. Super friendly group here...we were just looking for a light meal/apps before an evening out, so we stopped in because of the great reviews. Love the interior, nice decor and very moody. It did make it a little difficult to see what we were earning though. We ordered a couple of tapas and some sodas. The sautéed Brussel sprouts were very well done- as described "charred" and they truly delivered! I personally love charred veggies, so it was right up my alley. The balsamic glaze gave the dish the main flavor and was a nice balance to the crispy blackened sprouts. We also ordered the veggies empanada, and they were very fresh and authentic. They came out piping hot, and had a delicious savory taste with a little bite to it. Not too spicy, but enough to make you notice! We were both very happy with our snacks and enjoyed the ambiance. The waitstaff were super friendly and took great care of us. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some good eats. The menu is pretty vast and they do breakfast as well! The owners' previous restaurant Mami Luz's was my favorite so it's probably not shocking that I love their new place too. Twist is like a speakeasy. A small place with dark walls and low lights. The drinks are mixed to perfection every time (don't leave without trying one of their espresso martinis). The menu is original and creative. The service is always exceptional. We had made reservations in advance as we were going with a group of 8, and were glad we did as it is a small place. Amongst our party we had mimosas, Bloody Marias, a smoked old fashioned, cappuccinos, and chocolate milk for the kids.
