Went there today 1/4/26 for breakfast , my wife ordered a strawberry Belgian waffle , when she got…read moreit , there was hardly any strawberries on it , so she asked the server if she get a side of strawberries, , the server told her the y would have to cut up more , she lied , 10 minutes later she came out with a small bowl , the strawberries were still frozen in syrup . when the server brought the bill she asked how everything was , my wife told her the strawberries were still frozen , and the server asked if she wanted anything else , my wife no , the sever said that sounds like a plan . grabbed her plate off the table . and walked away . in a huff . the severs name was Hali . not the way to act toward your customers . this is the second time , they have said they will have to get more strawberries . and the always come out frozen. I worked as a prep cook 20 yrs ago . the kitchen is supposed to be prepped for the day . with enough of all items . it was only 8:30 am , when this happened . we will never go back , and i would never recommend this place . they used to be good 10yrs ago , when the other wait staff was there . but the wait staff we used to see have all since left .

My husband and I were at the diner at about the same time as reviewer Josh K. was. While busy, as befits a Sunday morning, our experience couldn't be more different! We aren't regulars, but were treated like we were. Waiting customers have padded diner benches and are brought fresh cups of hot coffee while they wait. I had the Trio Benedict, while includes one each of an Egg Benedict, Egg Florentine and Sausage Benedict. With homemade hollandaise sauce, fresh home fries and a slice of REAL ham (instead of the usual processed ham disk), I was happily stuffed and warm by the end. The husband's freash thick-cut French Toast came slathered with butter, dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. It quickly disappeared, along with the perfectly cooked slices of crispy bacon he ordered on the side. Staff was cheerful, smiling and quick to check with us and follow up on any requests, including coffee refils. The whole atmosphere was of a local place, withnew arrivals often greeted from the grill counter with questions about them or their families. We'll be back. It may have been one of our first times, but it won't be our last. read more

I have been coming here for at least 15 years while it's not my first choice for breakfast places I keep coming back because it's convenient I will note this is not the place if your strapped for time as it has taken us on average of 1-1/2 to get seated, order, served, eat, pay and leave and while it is always a friendly and warm atmosphere inside and the wait staff try's really hard to make sure the food is always served hot sometimes things get forgotten just remember to give them some slack it's a busy place and they're only human and a Special note to those who pay with plastic The tip is not able to be charged because card company's charge businesses a percentage on the bill and it's not right to pass on a discount on to the wait staff tip while the percentage is small it still adds up at the end of the day (just saying) while I'm not affiliated with this business I own a business and understand how it works so please tip with cash the ladies work really hard for there money and if you don't think so try doing there job and see read more

My family and I have been going here for years now. The staff is what makes this place different from most. They are friendly and very attentive to all your needs. The food may be simple, but it is what keeps us going back for more. In my opinion, the eggs benedict is by far the best thing on the menu no matter which combination you try, and I have tried most of them. My wife and I prefer the eggs florentine, they are the best once you add mushrooms (tell them I told you). My kids prefer the pancakes, especially the sweet potato pancakes. The recently expanded dining area has enhanced the atmosphere of the entire place. The combination of the staff, food and the atmosphere makes this diner different then any other diner we have eaten at. I would like to thank Marybeth for always treating us like we are family, whenever we stop by. Let me just say for those looking for a real good ole fashion dinner experience, then Dream Dinner is the place for you. My family and I have enjoyed it for years and hopefully for years to come. You feel like you are home there. The staff though always busy, as the restaurant is usually hopping, always has a smile and and a warm greeting. They never rush my order even when my kids are making their order more complex then the directions you get with a prescription drug. The food is amazing. The Dream Dinner is pure comfort food. If you like Eggs Benedict, the Dinner is for you. They have several different version all of which are topped With their delicious hollandaise sauce. Yum!!! It was my first time. Being a New Yorker, new diners are like a crap shoot of the dice, you never know what you are going to get. This is a very uneasy feeling for me. However, waitress Diane, changed all of that. We were given the a first timers shout out, which brought the biggest smile to my face and a warmness to my heart. It was a nice touch to be applauded by strangers and staff, as this city GUY could really get use to a small town life. Diane was attentive, service was prompt, food delicious and I plan on sitting in her section next time. This beautiful 1950's style open kitchen concept decor brings you back to the tradition of the old school diner with modern touches. I never write long reviews, but I'm going to have to for this one. I've been here many times before and liked it but after today I can say I love it!! This Sunday, I went in with my Wife and right away we were greeted by a young woman (there was a wait but she asked If we wanted coffee while we waited... that simple question by her made it worth the wait) Luckily enough for us, she was also our waitress. Mikayla was on top of everything and extremely enjoyable . Not once did I have to ask her for more coffee and although it was very busy, she made it a point to chat with us for a good amount of time. I got "The Dream" and it was good. Pancakes seemed a little smaller than I remember though. I LOVE this place!! I've been going on and off for years but over the past few months My boyfriend and I started going every Sunday for breakfast! The service is fabulous and they check on you often. It does get busy but we always wait. Sometimes they will offer you coffee while you are standing in line. The food is wonderful and I have never had a bad meal. I almost always finish everything on my plate. The staff is very friendly and more then willing to answer any questions you have. I love how they will sit right down with you and chat it up! We go to the Dream Diner for Breakfast, , but it was before they remodeled . I always loved the food, and the servers treat you like family. We went to dinner last night and had Doreen and Molly as our servers, and as usual were treated like royalty . I had the Pastrami melt and my husband had the cheese burger, they had French fries on both, but not the skimpy shoe string fries, we got steak fries, the food was delicious, and my sandwich was so packed with pastrami I had to take half home. Today friend and I went to the Dream Diner in Tyngsboro for the first (certainly not the last) time!!! They welcome all first time visitors with a round of applause!!! The food OMG all homemade, the place is going back to the 50's as is the outstanding service. Vicky was out waitress so friendly and helpful with perfect suggestions. I commented how beautiful the restaurant was, so clean and observed how all the staff worked so well together, an amazing reflection of the owner clearly. I normally don't write reviews...like ever. But I felt the need to share my experience at the Dream Diner the other weekend. I went with my boyfriend for a lil breakfast date before we went and started our days and we normally go to Hop down the street but I told him we should try somewhere new, so I suggested here. Our service was incredible. Our waiter, Kaleb, basically designed this waffle/ice cream/ fudge/whipped cream special and it was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I just had the best breakfast experience at Dream Diner. We got here early and Bridget took care of us right away. She sat us in her "VIP" seating, gave us a sample of some amazing pastrami, and was just the sweetest, funniest server ever. I ordered an omelet and hubby ordered eggs and bacon. We both ordered a side of gluten free toast, and their bread is amazing! Bridget got us the name of the brand and even let us take the empty bread package with us so we could find the bread at the store. What a fabulous diner!! We stumbled onto the diner looking for gluten free options for my daughter. Not being from Massachusetts, we did know what to expect. We are from Orlando Fl and our stay in Tyngsboro reminded us of how friendly people can be. The food at the Dream Diner was fantastic! Eggs Benedict, and ham, pancakes, hamburger, all was great. We're Dream Diner regulars. Every Monday morning you'll find us there for breakfast. We can always count on Alex the cook for a superb breakfast. We usually have our granddaughters with us and Alex makes them Mickey Chocolate Chip pancakes. The virus shutdown is really getting to the girls. They always ask, can we go to Dream Diner yet ? I was there for a while to decide. then For Breakfast I ordered the WINDMILL sandwich. It was Very Delicious.
