Came here to catch up with a friend when she was visiting the area. The spot seems new. It was pretty quiet on a sat afternoon, so the usual crowd must be PCC students when school is in session. I ordered a Oolong MT, no sugar and light ice. Flavor was definitely there. My friend got a thai tea with boba. It is slightly expensive compared to some of the nearby options. The music was a tad loud, esp since we wanted to converse. The owner was courteous though. Good quali-tea overall. read more

They open pretty early for a boba place which is really nice. I got the Okinawa milk tea with boba, no complaints! Half sugar was perfect for me. Not a lot of places seem to have Okinawa so I was really glad to see it here. Tommy is super nice, he was very accommodating and welcoming. Cute little hole in the wall place I discovered. It's really easy to miss this little gem. The owner very exuberantly greeted me and took my order, he even gave me a free wireless charging stand with my order! The tea is delicious and refreshing and really hits on a hot summer day The place also has free wifi and wireless chargers for people who want to work while they drink. I know how hard it is to run a small business, and It would break my heart to see it go under. If I lived closer I would visit and chill here more often. I've been slowly working through the boba shops in Pasadena and stumbled across this one across from PCC. Admittedly, I'm a sucker for cute logos and this one is the cutest with a seal on it, so in I went. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly and my boyfriend and I some suggestions when we didn't know what to order. I got the signature milk tea and it turned out to be a great choice! The boba was bouncy and chewy and the milk tea itself was nice and smooth. The space is cozy (though maybe a little dark on a cloudy day), but it's a really nice place to unwind. I think it'd be even more perfect in winter with a hot drink. This place is right around the corner from PCC and pretty close to the Pasadena branch library, so it's a nice place to go after class or a visit to the library. read more

I came here after my brother recommended me this location. It did not disappoint! The owner was friendly, welcoming, and provided me with a gift as a first time customer. HaiCha was a wonderful place to visit. Tommy, the owner, was very kind and attentive. The black sesame crunchies were delicious, and the drinks were a great price for how delicious they were. It had calming music which made it feel like a place you can hang out in for some time whether that be to study, work or read. It also had chargers to borrow, snacks to buy and premade drinks in a fridge which made it seem like you could grab something to go if you were in a hurry. I love this place. We were down the street getting an oil change and we always see this place but never stop. Well let me tell ya'll I'm so happy we did. I go their Haicha tea and the Thai tea. The boba is really good and the teas are wonderful. Its a small place but it feels very homey. The owner Tommy is such a sweet person greeted us and treated us like family. My favorite drink was the Chi-Chi Mango Smoothie. It was sweet, smooth, and had mango chunks and green tea jelly. Their #1 drink - King of Mango Smoothie had grapefruit pulp, which was bitter. All of their drinks were pretty sweet. The Chi-Chi Jasmine Green Tea had a cheese foam top and tasted the least sweet of the three drinks I ordered to share.

The most welcoming and friendly boba shop I've ever visited! Tommy, the owner, greeted me with such warmth and excitement, instantly putting a smile on my face. Went here with a friend for the first time this afternoon to try out new Boba places, and this spot did not disappoint. We did not get a filling nor try the delectable appearing chocolate waffle - next time! I've been to Mandarin Coffee, so it's only fitting that I check out Mandarin 2. This location is…read moremuch bigger with ample seating inside and a cozy little patio area out front. It's also attached to a fancy apartment complex, which makes it convenient for residents to get their caffeine fix. The staff here are very friendly and the vibe is chill. It's a great spot to relax with your laptop or a book or hang with friends. Menu offerings consist of creative Chinese inspired drinks, and they also have yummy pastries from Sugarbloom. The Chai Latte sounded enticing, so that is what I ordered along with a blueberry muffin for my hairdresser. The darling gal that assisted me said their chai is a bit spicy so they sweeten it with honey and asked if that was ok. I said, "sure." I soaked in the ambience of the early morning sun coming through the windows while I waited. A few minutes later I was on my way. I love Chai tea but rarely order it because it upsets my tummy. However, I did not have an issue with this latte. I could taste the spices along with cardamon but the flavor wasn't intense. It was just right, so was the touch of honey to balance it out along with the almond milk. I really enjoyed it, and my hairdresser loved the blueberry muffin. Even though it's a bit out of the way, I'd come back for the Chai Latte. *Small parking lot or Street parking
