I'm so confused about the positive reviews and don't understand the appeal. I've been here a couple of times, mainly out of convenience when I'm in the area, but the drinks aren't good at all. On my most recent visit, I ordered an iced hojicha latte and it was horrible. It tasted like milk with barely any hojicha flavor. Fika Fika is the place for coffee lovers who wants a quiet space to work. It is located in the Arcadia Hmart plaza and has plenty of parking. I came here for a cold brew coffee, and it was surprisingly good. They also sell coffee beans and tea, which is perfect for gifting. Some additional notable features was the ice cream and pastries section. The service was friendly and efficient. The coffee came out quick. The interior wasn't a wow factor for me, but it is functional and optimized for those who want to work and study. There's plenty of tables and chairs and a back area for people to work. Overall, I think this is a great coffee shop. I hope they continue doing a great job serving coffee and potentially think about expanding in the future. Updating this review! Fika Fika is still a solid cafe with ample parking and near H-Mart - what a plus! Their drinks are always consistent, and my favorite is still the Iced Latte with Fika Fika. I was surprised that I enjoyed it with Half and Half vs whole milk. I've also visited numerous times on occasion, and tried a variety of other drinks. I'm not a fan of sweeter drinks and once had a drink that was too sweet. Upon asking for it to be remade less sweet or substituting for a cheaper drink (plain latte), the staff just gave me attitude... Hopefully that was a one-off; I've never been adventurous with the menu since. There is ample seating and Wi-Fi, but note that Wi-Fi usage is severely limited. For example, Discord, Yelp, and Canvas are blocked... can't even do schoolwork here! These are just a few of the common sites that are inaccessible; there are actually many others. Facebook works, though... This is an amazing spot if you want to study, so long as it's offline (or if you have a portable hotspot). read more

2/16/26 One rainy day, everyone decided to flock to cafes. Been to 2 other places, this spot at least was not as noisy, good amount of business but seating was available for me & Hubby, SCORE! Service was a bit of a challenge. 3 ladies working the storefronts but friendly I visited before late at night before closing. Now I notice they serve gelatos as well. Hubby quickly opted to get the cappuccino flavor. Wow, 2 tiny scoops for $8.50! Gotta admit, you can really taste the essence of the bean & Hubby said the caffeine kicked in a bit, too, My lavender latte was alright, I ordered it with half sweet with almond milk, a bit underwhelming. It's a wonderful open space with many choices for seating, indoor, outdoor (it's raining so we're all cramming indoors lol). We took the sofa while everyone else had bar seating, tables/chairs, some communal. Mostly students studying occupying spaces. Cute artificial plant decor. Coffee, teas, pastries offered, and gelato. I placed an online order and I even came a few minutes so it would be ready by the time I got there but to my disappointment, it wasn't. This isn't the first time that I placed an online order there and it wasn't ready by my arrival. Fortunately, it wasn't busy unlike last time so I didn't have to wait a long time. However, an apology would have been nice for forgetting my order (again). Anyways, the Floral Latte was refreshing and delicious. I really enjoyed the Fika Blend coffee was strong but not too bitter and there are sugar and ice adjustments available free of charge. I got soy milk so that was extra $0.50. I got it half sugar and it wasn't too sweet. The floral tasted very nice and the tiny rose petals on top was very cute. Overall, I really enjoyed this drink so this was 8/10. I've been to Fika Fika a couple times and always had such a great experience. The cafe has a cozy vibe perfect to hang out or get some work done. Their menu has a mix of both sweet and savory options and we've been trying a couple different items on the menu. A cute little coffee shop located in the same plaza as H Mart. Plenty of parking available in front or in the parking structure (though you would have to walk a bit. Did an online order ahead of time because I was in the area and wanted a matcha latte. My order wasn't ready even after the supposed ready time. I don't recommend coming in the morning when you're in a rush because it seems to take a long time for them to make drinks. Ordered a hot americano and a matcha jasmine latte. The matcha jasmine latte had a really nice floral taste to it but it was way too milky for my liking. It left a weird aftertaste on my tongue. January 15, 2025 Needed a quick morning pick-me-up after a long and stressful evening. Starting off with ambiance, cute, quaint, and relaxing. Food smells amazing here. I would try out their ice creams, but didn't want to overindulge. We did order their Bacon Cheese Tater Tots and it was full of flavor-- the feta combined with the cheddar cheese and bacon on top of the tots were....chef kiss! It definitely hit the spot! As for drinks, we ordered one hot and one iced... just because. I ordered the Oolong Tea Espresso Latte (Mellow Wave) with half sugar. Husband ordered a Thai Latte (Mellow Wave) unmodified. Let me tell you, it was legit strong and you can taste the Thai tea as well. Usually one overpowers the other, but this... you can taste both the coffee and tea. My go-to coffee spot in the area! Such a good coffee spot with really unique flavor options. I usually order the brown sugar oolong espresso latte. It's a coffee drink with oolong flavor added. I've been trying to find a place in Orange County closer to me that has a drink like this, but have not been able to find anything like it. I like to use their beans to make cold brew at home as well; they all have a really nice smooth flavor and when you buy a bag of beans, they offer a free drip coffee (hot or iced and you can add your own flavoring for an extra cost) which I love! I stopped by Fika Fika Coffee to get a latte in the morning since I pass by this location while trying to get on the freeway. I enjoyed their hot earl grey tea latte. The tea was fragrant and it wasn't super sweet. They have a lot of seating inside and a few tables outside but it's a little too cold to sit outdoors since it's been raining in this area. I went around 9:30AM on a weekday and it took awhile for my 1 drink to be made. There was 1 cashier and 1 barista working. They are cashless. The shop is located in the same complex with HMart and there was lots of parking available. If you go in the afternoon, I think parking will be a bit challenging since other business would be open as well. read more

My friend & I stopped by before heading back home in rush hour traffic. We loved the vibes upon entering the cafe. It was so cute with the hanging plants and the pretty furniture. I got the rose latte and it had good coffee flavor and the perfect degree of sweetness but the rose fragrance was just too subtle for me. Perhaps if it was done with the medium roast instead of the medium-dark roast, the rose would not have been as buried in the coffee flavor. This is a personal taste matter. Was in the area on a Sunday morning and needed some caffeine to fil my day so decided to stop by Fika Fika, mostly due to their unique offerings. The inside is cute, with plenty of seating. Much larger than I was expecting. Taking a look at the menu, they had a lot of unique flavors that are not usual for a cafe. The service was friendly and quick. I got the Roasted Oolong Brown Sugar Tea Latte and my partner got the Thai Tea Latte. We also got some of the Mochi Paws to snack on. Roasted Oolong Brown Sugar Tea Latte 6/10 - This is one of their newer flavors and I love oolong so wanted to try this one out. The oolong flavor and espresso was not as prominent as I would've hoped for. It's a bit more brown sugar forward with half and half. Thai Tea Latte 8/10 - This one was great, maintaining the thai tea flavor with a little extra kick from the espresso. I also liked that this drink was not too sweet. I would recommend trying this item. Mochi Paws 7/10 - These are just like taiyaki. Crunchy exterior but chewy interior which was a nice contrast. Wish it had a bit more filling but otherwise was a solid sweet snack. Overall a positive experience! I thought it was cool that they also let you pick the type of beans you want your espresso to be. There was a slight wait at the counter to order but they made the coffee pretty quickly. There is plenty of seating inside and a bathroom. Oh Fika Fika Coffee, how I really wanted to like you. I placed an order to-go online for a drink and mochi paw donuts. Long story short, it took me more than 45 minutes of waiting to collect all of my items and I don't ever wanna do that again. The cafe is dog-friendly and allows you to sit with them inside. But it's really just dog tolerant and not dog friendly per se. There's no dog treats, water for dogs or anything like that. The seats are pretty close together so it's really not good to sit inside with them. None of my orders were ready when it was past the pickup timeframe. I waited additional 35 minutes. I saw numerous flies buzzing around in and around the order counters and seat areas. The cafe itself was very warm also and had piles of people waiting. No seats were really available to sit down and wait for orders. I'm glad I spoke up and asked about my order after the 45 minute mark since placing the order. It was apparently sitting on the counter the whole time and supposedly she didn't see me waiting for it right in front of her. Really? That's something because I even let her know when I returned from taking my dogs back to the car due to crowding in the store. The drink itself looked visually appealing but too sweet for my liking despite requesting reduced sweetness. The mochi paws were ok. Definitely not worth waiting 45 something minutes for it. I was just grossed out by all the flies buzzing in and out of the kitchen and landing in food stuffs and cups. Same with the milk left open on the counter. Or employees not washing hands or wearing gloves. So yeah....unless you have an extremely long patience, iron stomach, and don't get grossed out easily, I would skip this place. read more

I stopped by on my way to Hmart and the was greeted by the friendly baristas. Thankfully it wasn't too busy so I didn't have to wait very long. The baristas were nice and patient enough to go through the menu with me and help try to pin point what would would be a good fit for me. I was recommended the Casablanca Tea with half sugar because I wanted something with little to no caffeine. The way they described it to me was it was a strawberry/ rasberry tasting tea with no that looked similar to fruit punch and it was so yummy! I did want a small bite that wasn't going to be too much despite their popcorn chicken and fries looked very tempting, but I settled on their jalapeño cheese croissant instead. Their cafe menu goes beyond your basic espresso drinks, with whimsical offerings such as a butterfly pea vanilla latte, rose cloud cold brew and more. I've tried both the ube latte and the butterfly pea vanilla latte, both of which were perfectly balanced and almost too pretty to drink. For those who like to enjoy a sweet treat alongside their coffee, Fika Fika also features mochi cakes shaped like a cat's paw and your filling of choice (custard, ube, matcha, red bean).
