I love Yin Yang Tea! When you walk in, you'll see an adorable post-it wall that seems to be from customers, and you will always be greeted by staff! The times I've been here, I've usually seen the same man who never fails to ask if I have any questions and if I wanted something specific, which is pretty cool as I never came across a tea shop that did that! Drinks gotten: -ube matcha -salted vietnamese coffee -taro milk tea w/popping boba -sunset passion w/ boba All of these drinks have been delicious so far! My favorite so far has been the ube matcha (so creamy!!) I definitely will continue coming back as they have so much variety in loose leaf blends, speciality flavors (what do you mean you have a blended neopolitan and Pina colada), and premium oolong tea! P.s their 3 for $10 deal on spam masubi/big cookie/ snacks is so fun! Their cookies have been delicious and I love how big they are, and the chips are a good salty option to eat with your tea.

Stumbled on this random boba shop and was craving for a drink. I ordered the hongkong milk and my bf ordered a mango fruit tea. My hongkong milk tea tasted ok, needed more condense milk and stronger tea flavor. My bf like his mango fruit tea. The interior is pretty cool with the post its wallpaper. You can ask for a post it to add to their wall. Parking- Plenty

Yin Yang Tea has a wide selection of milk teas and slushies. They do a really nice job customizing drinks to your desired sweetness and they do it dairy free! My usual orders include: Vietnamese coffee, taro milk tea, cookies & crème, and jasmine milk tea. I've never been disappointed. The staff are kind and helpful, genuinely nice folks. The place is small, quiet, and family friendly. Most people get their drinks to go, but you can get cozy at a table and play one of the many board games they provide. Finally, there's a place to get good boba in NW Pasadena! I hope they're here to stay!

Delicious Vietnamese coffee and thai tea. I had grass jelly which was yum with my thai tea. Super nice staff and let us hang out with our breakfast. I would come back again and try their different teas. And definitely getting the Vietnamese coffee again.

Delicious!! I love milk tea boba, this place does it perfectly! They have tons of other flavors too! Lots of cute plants, a cute post it note art wall, and yummy snacks like fresh cookies and spam musubi. Music is from the last year or two, it's nice and cool inside on a hot day, and there's lots of plants!

    Rude, miserable employee.

Since it's national Bubble Tea day, I decided to try a new Boba spot in my area. I picked my kids up from school and headed over. As soon as we opened the door, the girl working yelled out at me saying that she is not taking any more customers and that she is backed up. Mind you there were five people inside. She then continued to say something under her breath and when I asked her what she said, she told me to leave and goodbye, and to complain to her manager about her. I was in complete shock. The fact that there were other patrons and she continued to show her ass in front of them is beyond me. I have never in my entire life encountered someone more rude and miserable than this girl. Memo to the owner, if I were you, I would try to hire friendly people to work at your establishment. I would hate for you guys to have a bad reputation because of one miserable employee. Needless to say, I will continue to frequent other local boba spots with better customer service.

There were plenty of parkings. The service was great. But not having a dairy option is insane to me. I ordered the black tea for my friend and Vietnamese coffee for me to go. I didn't like the Vietnamese coffee since she put a nondairy choice. It tasted horrible. I usually love the Vietnamese coffee but the nondairy milk made it taste rather strange not in a good way. I might come back for ice tea or something but not for Vietnamese coffee.

They stayed open even when they were closing for us. Truly delicious and very kind and patient people. Love the sunset passion w black tea + lychee

Came on a Saturday and ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba. The drink was solid and the boba was very chewy. The drink was a bit too sweet for my liking but I can't complain as I didn't adjust the sweetness - I'd opt for 75% next time. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality as the shop was located in an unassuming strip mall. They have plenty of options to choose from. Prices are average, and they have double deals which is around $1 off for buying 2 drinks in the same category. The workers are quick and friendly. There are lots of tables inside to stay and hang out, though a downside is that they don't have restrooms available (you can go to Food4Less).

This simple yet delicious boba place is a refreshing spot to hit up on a hot day! Inside is a brightly lit, minimal area with lots of great drinks to choose from. They often have daily specials that are discounted - for example, Thai Tea Tuesdays. You can also get 10% off by checking in on Yelp. I went here on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no wait, no fuss, just a girl grabbing a couple drinks (me) and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The worker who helped me was very friendly and rang up my discounts no problem. Though I was in a rush and drank my strawberry fruit tea elsewhere (so good! Sweet and refreshing, not too syrupy), I could easily imagine spending an hour or two inside just sipping leisurely. The vibe is relaxing and pleasant. If I lived in SoCal, I would come here all the time!

Trying a new style for the review: Perks: Easy Parking, Free WiFi, and strong AC so its nice for a hot summer day (which we have been seeing a lot of) Downsides: No Public Bathroom so you are limited in the amount of time you can spend there and only 4 tables I tried the Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea (50% sweet) with the aiyu jelly and the seasonal Basil Herbal Tea. I liked that it included 1 free topping with the drink but the sweetness was overpowering for the Passion Fruit Tea. The worker was nice enough to dilute the drink out further. I think their flavors are created using the flavored syrup pumps. Overall, I think this is a middle of the road type boba place but can offer a nice place to get some work / studying done

I found this cafe when I was looking for a place to study, so excited to finally have a boba option north of the 210! (Pasadena locals, you'll understand ) . With the Yelp Check-In 20% off, my Jasmine Milk tea with boba came out to be $4.25. There are steeped milk tea and fruit tea options; the standard menu that one would expect. At half-sweet, the tea was strong, but the boba lacked sweetness and wasn't chewy enough. Overall, a decent drink that satisfies the craving. Don't think they have any one specialty drink just yet. While I was sitting at the cafe, a lot of people ordered Thai tea, so will try it next time! Yin Yang Tea is located in the Food 4 Less plaza in the corner, so hooray for the parking lot! There isn't much signage since it's in its soft opening phase, so it might be easy to miss. The store wasn't too busy, but there definitely was a steady flow of customers. Their wifi wasn't set up yet, according to their Yelp page it'll be coming soon. The tables inside were fast food restaurant-style booths, so they weren't super comfortable. It definitely isn't an "aesthetic" boba shop, but a nice and quiet place to get work done. Also, on the menu, they have some $8-$9 buy-2 deals. Will be back if I'm looking for a quick milk tea fix in the area!
