Went for a dip mani. The old dip mani I had (from a different salon) was lifting. The male tech decided (with no consultation with me) that instead of filing/soaking off my lifting mani, he would just cut off my nails (all natural, nothing artificial) & then remove the old dip by peeling them off. Once he saw the lifting he grabbed his nail clipper & started cutting them off before I even knew what he was going to do. This was painful on most nails & also left my natural nail bed damaged. (Anyone knows that peeling anything off your nails will do damage.) He then put on acrylic tips, much shorter then my natural nails were & gave me a shellac mani. To say I am upset is an understatement. I have never worn acrylic nails because my own grow so well & I never need to. Now my nails are as short as my finger which they haven't been in years. I will have to grow them out for 4-6 months before they recover from what he did. I will never go back & I hope those that do go here don't have my experience. The staff here is completely stressed out. I called ahead and made appointments for myself and my teenage granddaughters . They basically accused me of lying about having appointments and then proceeded to give us shoddy manicures with expired polish that bubbled and pitted. Then overcharged us. She asked me to wait in the massage chair while almost scalding water was put in. Then two more people came in and asked for pedicures and she took them first. my daughter and I stopped by for services yesterday 7/21 which I got a mani pedi and my daughter got a French pedi. The young Hispanic woman did my nails and did a great job. The gentleman who did my daughters toes was fine however, not sure what type of polish they used but it looked like it cracked and she did not go on the beach or in the pool. Very surprised at how it looks. Would have went back but leaving in the morning and she didn't let me know until after 5. Very disappointing considering the cost. The two stars are for the lady who did my nails. The other thing was there was some back and forth with the Asian woman and another Hispanic woman who worked there in front of customers and the Hispanic woman saying what services she wasn't going to do. This is my first time being here, I work over at Crocs and I've heard good things about this place and since it was the closest at the moment I decided to give it a try. I got a gel pedicure deluxe with a cranberry mimosa and as you can see in the picture this is the lady who helped me. Unfortunately, I don't know her name and even though she didn't talk much I feel she didn't have too because she did an amazing job. She didn't rush, she took her time! She wasn't rough and she had hands of an Angel! Though that might be funny I think we all have had an experience where some rushed and just didn't do a good job. You can never do a good job when you're rushing! I think the Receptionist was a little frustrated with one of the workers! She seemed like a good receptionist to me; after I sat down she asked me if I wanted something to drink she checked on me and asked me if I wanted candy but it seemed she was being picked on and she was just over it. Once you've worked at a certain place long enough you start to relate and I could definitely relate to her! She excused her self in the back when she was frustrated and the lady who was working on someone's feet laughed at her. I didn't see it being funny! I can be super picky with my nail salons and I am so glad I found Dream Nail Spa! I was going to a different salon that someone recommended to me when I first moved to Fort Myers, and I just wanted gel nails, which always ended up looking like acrylic both due to thickness and shape. I desperately needed my nails fixed and so I tried out Dream Nail Spa, they were so confused by my nails and immediately fixed them. I was so happy that they were willing to fix my nails and do them exactly how they should have been done before! I always ask for John when I am getting a pedicure because he is AMAZING. I don't think I'm the only one that asks for him because the owner (?) was making jokes about how he's always doing the pedicures and the ladies love him. I've never had a pedicure (ok, leg massage) like that before. He doesn't skimp out on anything and he takes his time. I'm always super relaxed and my toes look perfect! Also, I know a lot of people want a quick service, but they're not speedy! So if you need something done super fast, maybe look elsewhere. However, I will say that although I am impatient I appreciate their work and how well they do by taking their time. It pays off and always looks perfect. Horrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in for a manicure with dip color. I like it better than gel because with dip no blue light. However I did NOT get a manicure. The definition of a manicure is: a cosmetic treatment of the hands involving cutting, shaping, and often painting of the nails, removal of the cuticles, and softening of the skin. He removed my old dip polish, filed a little and re dipped my nails. No soaking in warm Water. No cuticle trimming nothing. I look like I have a set of acrylics on top of another set and they use blue light To top it off it cost $40. $40 for a color change and when it's all said and done it looks like crap. It was kind of the young lady to offer me water and a chocolate Hershey kiss for after my nails were done but that's about it. Pay the extra money or wait a day or two. I wouldn't go here again even if I was in a pinch!! read more

For years I have been getting my nails done here and after the experience I had today I am never going back there again! I was getting my first set of acrylics and I even booked an appointment. I waited 20 minutes while my mother got a pedicure. About 30 minutes into my visit the lady said soon just as soon as the other lady working there finished another customers pedicure. Overall I waited an hour and then was told to wait 2 more hours due to the fact that she forgot the other customer wanted to get acrylics as well!! I was there today, it took 3 hours for a dip manicure. My lady was elderly, and having a hard time filing and the manager was on the phone the entire time with her boyfriend. It was very uncomfortable to sit in that position for 3 hours, just for a manicure. But having got stuck down here during the COVID19 restrictions, I decided to go get my mani and pedi needs taken care of - they were of course well overdue. Five star service, same as last time, only in a bright new salon, new equipment and stations everywhere, and some extra safety precautions (clear plastic shields at every station). Great spontaneous decision to get a pedicure while on vacation. Amy was wonderful and encouraged me to try the upgraded pedi. Price was $35 rather than $25 for standard. So glad I did! It included all the standard pedi procedures but with an extra peppermint lotion and hot towel wrap, longer leg massage and a hot stone massage which felt AHHHmazing. I went in with a 12:30 appointment with a specific nail tech. While I was waiting, 2 women walked in (With no appointments) and they were immediately taken . One of them went to my requested nail tech. I was then given a different nail tech after waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time?. My friend and I both went for mani/pedis, using gel for the manis. Gel for pedis were suggested. My operator didnt seem too experienced with gel polish. Her English was not very good so we really couldn't discuss the process. The fee was $75.00, plus tip. In three days, a toe nail chipped. In a week, my gel mani was peeling. My friends first nail peeled off after a week. I have never had a gel manicure that didn't last until I had it removed in three or four weeks. I will not go here again. read more

I was really happy with my manicures until i had Mary. Do not let Mary do your nails. She ruined my cuticles even after i asked her to not cut them. She ignored me repeatedly. She bad mouthed the owner and complained the whole time. My cuticles have peeled, bled and been irritated since. She did not soak my fingers at all. read more

Ugh this place was a disappointment, our first day in Florida for vacation. The worst pedicure I have ever gotten. The lady that did my sisters was so rude. There was paint all over her skin (I honestly could of done a better job). We spoke up and said they didn't look good and they did them over (still looked awful). They also didn't offer us anything when we got there, overall just not a good experience. My lady UNCLOGGED the drain of hair while i was getting my toes does in front of me and put the hair ON MY TOWEL. They reuse their tools. Not like other nail places I visited, where they sterilize the equipment. They do have some nice touches but I think they should be better about hygiene. I went in as a walk-in for a pedicure on a Saturday morning. I live in the area fulltime and wanted to establish with a salon. I told the lady at the desk I COULD NOT wear a mask etc due to a medical condition. I guess she did not want my business because she asked everyone there if they had a problem with me sitting and getting a pedicure. They wanted to put me about 20 feet away which was fine with me. I am in the medical field and feel like I have been discriminated against because one lady said she had a problem with me getting my nails done in the salon. My wedding was in May and we were looking for a salon for 7 of us to get manicures and pedicures. I'm glad we ended up here! Most everyone was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our cocktail while we were pampered. My only wish was that all of us were able to get our pedis done together but with only 6 chairs, I understand it wasn't possible.
