I have been to many different places in the past, but no one does a great job like Casey, who was my masseuse yesterday.

The massage itself was nice, but nothing particularly memorable or above average. I was expecting a more elevated experience for the price. After our massage, we changed into our swimsuits to enjoy the amenities. Unfortunately, the pool was very small and already pretty crowded around noon, so there wasn't much opportunity to relax in it. On top of that, there was a constant high pitched ringing or buzzing noise near the pool, possibly from the pool equipment. It was surprisingly loud and definitely took away from what was supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing environment. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. I asked one of the employees behind the bar where the towels were since it was my first time visiting. Instead of simply pointing me in the right direction, she scoffed and rolled her eyes as if I should have already known. It was such an unnecessary interaction and really changed the tone of our visit. After that, we decided to pack up and leave rather than stay and enjoy the rest of the amenities. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price, I expected a much more relaxing atmosphere, friendlier service, and an experience that felt worth the cost.

The accommodations are beautiful and pristinely clean. The views are breathtaking and the pool and spa are lovely. You're very close to amazing restaurants and wineries. Stay in the marquis suite, it's so nice! The jacuzzi tub and fireplace are a must! Next time hopefully we will have time for the massages too. Thank you, Gaia Inn! We loved our weekend away!

I saw it was pretty expensive but decided to splurge for a weekend getaway. When I drove up I thought the parking area was cute but was pretty disappointed once I started waking up to the property and noticed that it's essentially just a large house with a pool. Ugh and the continental breakfast was the last draw. It was breakfast items that have 0 work put into it. I was immediately regretting falling for the photos of this vs a much nicer competitor down the street that was actually cheaper! It would've been an awesome Airbnb, but I just hate that we paid this much when there was other options that would've been much nicer for cheaper. I just feel duped.

Overall: If you're going to come to the Murrieta hot springs with someone, my best recommendation…read moreis to book a room and stay overnight. This allows for access to more pools/ spas , complementary bathrobe during stay, and the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to cost-for-use (day pass price and spa availability vs. hotel guest price and spa availability). I would give 5 stars for the staff, namely Katie and Anthony at the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful. Katie, in particular, genuinely enjoys working here and did everything in her power to ensure my party had the best stay. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.

Beautiful Resort, Disappointing Front Desk Experience…read more The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, comfortable villas, and a great restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful stay. After we had already checked in and paid the required incidental deposit, we were unexpectedly told to pay an additional deposit. When I questioned this, the Front Desk Supervisor, Michael, told us that if we did not pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled, despite the fact that our stay had already been paid for. What was even more disappointing was the way we were treated. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude, with repeated references to "hotel policy" rather than any genuine effort to help. This happened on my husband's birthday, and it completely ruined the beginning of our celebration. The property deserves five stars, but the customer service we received at the front desk was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should be treated this way.

Stayed in a room in the Tower, and probably would have preferred one in the Villas for an additional cost. The room was a corner unit and larger than I expected with a view of the vineyard. Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.

This spa area is massive. Definitely worth your time and $. Huge locker room, with top and bottom lockers. Each locker complete with a nice and warm spa robe, water bottle & gray slippers. From the moment we walked in, everything felt calm, luxurious, and so well organized. One of the best perks is that you get full access to the spa amenities -- the sauna, steam room, and relaxation areas were perfect before and after the massage. It truly makes it feel like a whole spa day, not just a quick service. The waiting room even had healthy snacks like walnuts and mixed nuts (which I loved instead of the usual sugary stuff!). Such a nice touch. Our massage was incredible -- super relaxing, great pressure, and the therapists were very professional and attentive. We walked out feeling refreshed and stress-free. Couples massage packages range in price depending on the experience you choose, but honestly worth every penny for the quality and atmosphere. Parking was super easy and convenient -- no stress at all getting in or out. One thing to note (which we totally respected): they do have a no-camera policy inside the spa to keep things peaceful and private for everyone -- which actually makes the experience even better. Overall, Spa Pechanga is a 10/10 for relaxation, cleanliness, service, and vibes. Perfect for a date, special occasion, or just treating yourself. We will 100% be coming back!
