Our master bathroom experienced an unexpected flood back in October, so we needed help quickly. We obtained quotes from about 5 places (which were more or less in the same cost range) and went with On Design as their proposal was drafted promptly (within a couple days of our initial meeting) and very detailed. Ilay was our project manager and he helped get demolition and design started immediately. We were able to work with the designer on day 1 and get the majority of the items ordered (tile, fixtures, toilet, bathtub, countertops, cabinets) within 4-5 hours, which was very productive. They really sensed our urgency. We appreciated having the group texts so everyone was on the same page about updates and decisions. Had a few hiccups with some schedule delays, incorrect parts, touch ups for damages, etc., but nothing that was too unreasonable or unfixable when one is undergoing renovations. Ilay was able to help with insurance paperwork, which was very helpful. Jose was the main worker for plumbing and electrical and he was always on time, respectful of our home, and good with feedback. Update: The owner of the company, Aviv, called us and heard us out patiently. He agreed that the steps taken by the project manager were not conducive for a good experience with the company. He took our feedback on the significant gaps in communications, follow-ups and customer empathy. We appreciate his offering to restart the process for this project. We look forward to working with him. Our earlier experience with the prior project manager: We had fixed an appointment and had a project manager, Ilay Mor, come over for a consultation. After the initial meeting, he said that he would fix a zoom meeting with the architect and design person two weeks out for the same time slot We did not get any messages for the zoom call. Instead, we got an email in Hebrew fixing a time slot that we didn't recognize. There was no follow up to confirm from his side either. One fine day, the design consultant and Mr. Mor show up at our door without an appointment. We were not prepared to meet them because we had no idea that they were coming to meet us in-person. They insisted on coming in, and would not take no for an answer. Despite my being upset with them, they did not offer any apology for showing up without an appointment. They continued talking to my husband who accommodated, despite their rude behavior. The design consultant could not be bothered to apologize about this either. As a customer this is a huge red flag, specially given that our time and convenience weren't respected nor was any communication sent through text or a call. For a big upcoming project to extend the house and to remodel a major part of the home, the initial meetings set the tone for the later stages to give confidence to the customer. This person's attitude does not provide any such confidence and is a high risk as a project manager. We will be going with another contractor, one who respects us, our space and our time. read more

My balcony was leaking during the heavy rains weeks ago. The water damaged the ceiling of garage underneath. They came very quickly after receiving my quote request. Roi explained the detailed scope of the entire repair project very clearly. I was actually out of town during the repair, but Roi kept me updated of the latest progress clearly via photos and videos. They removed the old faulty balcony structure and did the waterproofing thoroughly. Now the new balcony is covered by new tile with correct slope and with much better rain drain. It looks much better and more reliable then before. I appreciate their quick response and patience to help me understand how the project should be done. It was our pleasure to work with the ONDesign team on remodeling our outdated bathroom. Raz, the project manager listened to our needs respectfully and came up with an excellent plan for our project. We were expecting visitors and were willing to either have the team complete the job on a tight timeline or postpone the job for a few months. Raz took up the challenge and did a fantastic job within a month, doing everything smoothly and efficiently, from pulling permits to final sign off. I am super impressed by the chief contractor, Jesus who was assigned to our project. His understanding of the work to be done and improvisation skills are remarkable. He recommended shifting the toilet bowl to another position to enable building a larger shower stall, designed the shampoo niches for maximum utility and came up with a work-around for installing a vanity that had come in at a slightly larger than ideal size. His attention to detail ensured a top-class job. ONDesign gave us some time to check out the finished work before the final sign off. We realized that something was wrong with the faucet (low hot water) and there had been some collateral damage to the other side of the wall. Jesus worked super hard to figure out and fix the hot water issue and he also took care of any other damage that I pointed out. We are already talking to Raz about more projects around our home and it looks like we have found a reliable go-to team for our home improvement projects. read more

I had an old pergola with cover that was badly damaged during the heavy rain because the rain gutter on top is also not functional. I was looking for people to repair or rebuild. Everybody who came said it's beyond repair and it should be completely rebuild from scratch.
