BEWARE: they allow children to ride on broken rides. A ride broke on my children and it WAS NOT the first time it happened that day.

Terrible. Dirty rides, half of them were not working... OVERPRICED food trailer. This carnival company was a real disappointment.

On May 11, as the facility was closing, we were being hurriedly rushed out. Needing an emergency drink of water, I briefly wetted my hands at the water fountain because we were in a hurry. A female worker immediately lost her temper and began screaming at me in front of everyone, calling us 'disgusting,' 'animals,' and 'horrible.' I was standing with a group of Jewish kids, and it was entirely clear from her tone, targeted hostility, and use of the phrase 'you guys' that her verbal abuse carried deeply offensive, anti-Semitic undertones. There is absolutely no excuse for a staff member to scream at customers, let alone use highly derogatory and discriminatory language toward children. This worker was toxic, disrespectful, and created a hostile environment. Management needs to immediately review their closing-time camera footage, identify this employee, and take immediate disciplinary action. My family and friends do not feel safe or welcome here under that current staff member."

One of the coolest parts was seeing all the amazing LEGO designs and statues throughout the park. You can tell a lot of creativity and detail went into everything. There were tons of rides for both younger kids and older ones, and when we visited there were barely any lines, which made the day so much more enjoyable. We were able to do so much without spending the whole day waiting around. The only downside was that some of the staff could have been a little friendlier, but overall it was still a really great experience and a perfect family trip.

There are also numerous opportunities to enjoy looking at impressive builds, as well as the chance to build with Master Builders in the Creative Workshop. The rides are also fun, ranging from familiar faces like a carousel to a Tower Climb Tournament. The main coaster is the Dragon, and the first section gives you the opportunity to check out cool themed builds before whisking you out on the track. The interactive Ninjago ride was also a favorite. The small water playground area requires a reservation and only lasts for 20 minutes - unfortunately, ours was even shorter due to a storm popping up. The best advice we got in advance was to be ready to go straight in (changed into swimsuits etc) before your time slot actually opens, and that paid off since we at least made it down the slides a couple of times and got splashed by the giant bucket before the storm. Parking is pricey unless you are staying at the resort - it's very walkable between the two. Park staff member Bebop was so kind and friendly. He filled us in on the must-sees inside the park and gave us area restaurant recommendations for later. Our LEGO fan was also thrilled to cap off the experience by successfully finding Mr. Gold.

We arrived at 10:30, which I would recommend based on crowds. My 4 and 5 year old had a good time, though I'd say this spot is optimal for slightly older and above. There were just a handful of activities they really couldn't do. That being said, I saw a bunch of toddlers who were also having a blast. The namesake slide was closed all morning, which was a bummer, but I'm also not sure my kids would have actually done it. The trampolines, acrobatic swing bar, and multi-level play structure were their favorites. I agree that some people working here were more happy to be there. The waiver is long. Try to do it ahead of time.

Great experience at Air Riderz Adventure Park in Port Chester…read more Large covered parking lot shared with other stores and shops nearby. We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs. Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk. It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great. There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at. There are two huge slides in the center which are fun. Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me. There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat. Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice. Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are able to visit.

Never would I have thought that I would be standing right in the middle of the second biggest mall…read morein the U.S. But there I was on Mother's Day. Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. Plenty of spots in the parking garage and it's $6 for each vehicle, though the first 15 minutes are free.

1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.
