This shop is currently housed in a small space in an old, local mall we affectionately refer to as "the weird mall," but folks, it's a gem. The selection is pretty good (and growing). The organization is good. The pricing is good. The owners are GREAT. They chatted pleasantly with us throughout our stay. Helped us find things we were looking for in store. And even took down a few specific titles to contact my husband if they came through the shop. Just really wonderful customer service (in a time when that can seem increasingly difficult to find). My husband has decided this will be his "go to" gaming shop moving forward, and I am delighted he's found a place that I also feel comfortable in (as a much less avid gamer). Pro Tip: The store is moving across the hall to a larger space in the next couple of months, and they have exciting things planned. I didn't know that the business had changed hands, and I showed up with my heavy boxes of comic books that I had heaved into my car to bring there. The new owner wasn't interested in buying any more comics, but he honored the previous owner's arrangement, and bought my comic books from me anyway. I told him that I understood and that I wasn't angry, but he came in early just to look over my comic books and buy them in order to honor an agreement that wasn't even his. While he was looking them over, I looked around the store, and they have a nice selection of comics and memorabilia. It's definitely worth a visit.

A handful of slabbed modern "keys" and variants behind the counter - occasionally an actual key, but overpriced. New comic racks guarantee nothing better than a 9.4. No bags and boards for new comics, and to remove a book, you have to bend it. Last time I was there, there were aisles of loose new books, mostly modern variants and stuff that hasn't sold. Lots of toys and figures, if you're into that. Good selection of old filler Copper books for your runs in the back issue bins. Maybe worth a peek once a year, maybe if they moved out of the mall, they could lower their prices and give the new issue racks 2" of vertical space to preclude getting new books in VF/NM.

This is amazing because it is the only shop in Kitsap that I can say this about (especially can't say this about their nearest Silverdale competitor) They also host a ton of events every month so if you are looking for people to play with you will be sure to find them here. Excellent repair work. Not so excellent communication…read more They did an amazing job repairing my 3DS after the B button stopped responding correctly. One of the screws on the back was stripped so I wasn't able to get the panel off myself to try to fix it. But they were able to work around it. They also replaced the cracked circle pad pro nub without me even asking! The one thing I would suggest for improvement is that they don't communicate well. They are very friendly and made me feel confident that they could fix my issue. However, when I brought my unit in they told me they would let me know after 3-4 days what the total price would be as well as what they would have to do to fix it. After 8 days I called myself and they told me they would call me back later that day. 3 days later I still hadn't heard anything had to call them back again to get an answer. This cycle happened 2 or 3 more times before I figured out that they are more likely to reply to text messages. They also forgot to put 2 of the screw covers back when they repaired my console. After contacting them they said that they would ship them out to my house. It's been over two months and I've contacted them twice about it, but nothing has come of it. The communication and lack of following up when they would say they would is the only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I would totally recommend this business. They also have a lot of rare and obscure video games and accessories. Such as, did you know that a sewing machine was made that could pair to a gameboy color? Well I didn't, they have one!

In my case I was able to find a rare game I'd been looking to add to my collection. I initially found out about this store thanks for Google Maps (Sorry Yelp) and scrolling through the reviews on there I saw one mentioning controller repair. A major headache for modern day gaming with buttons that stick, stick drift and triggers that wear out among other issues. This is a nagging problem since controllers run for $50-60 now, basically the cost of a game. I brought in a controller for them to look at. It turns out they don't really work on 3rd party controllers or if they do, the amounts they charge will far exceed the cost of simply replacing it. While browsing the store I happened upon a game that is quite rare presently and commands a high cost on Ebay, Amazon and even Facebook Marketplace for sellers aware of it's rarity. In addition to this it's part of my quest to preserve physical media since it is no longer available digitally and if it was it would likely be a high cost. I grabbed it right away for a fair price, not the sweetest deal but I was able to hold it in my hands and know the condition of it, another part of in person shopping I prefer over online. I've eaten at the restaurant next door many times and I've never thought about going into this toy store in the past. They have a lot of fun things in the store. Probably something for everyone in basic kinds of games. I settled on a puzzles as well as a Trivia game. They had a really good special going on where you could buy a puzzle and get 1 for 50% off. However, I didn't take advantage of that because I just wanted the one puzzle. The store had quite a few shoppers in, and was a bit congested. Good for the business, and expected this time of year. But, I actually was in-and-out of the store so fast that I did not spend enough time to assess all of their offerings in order to have made a really good judgment. My son immediately was drawn to the cars and put a few on the table to look at them. I was looking around the store at things I could buy my son and also for anything that might delight my husband. The woman working, went over and started snatching the cars from the table my child was at. He had placed six cars on the table top. I came back over and told my son to help put the cars back and that he could only look at one at a time. I sat in the adult chair at the table and asked him which car he liked the best. (I was going to buy him one along with a Playmobil Pirates set.) The woman came back and asked if we were ready to leave. She had a horrible attitude and said that children are not welcome AT ALL TOY STORE. I cannot imagine a worse attitude for retail, let alone being a toy store so unwelcoming and rude to children. We left immediately without purchasing what we had planned to buy and as I was buckling my son into his car seat, the woman (she was older with a bad blonde dye job) had the audacity to stand at the door of the shop scowling. Never again.
