We're glad we stopped by and definitely check them out more often whenever we're in the area. They also have a pretty packed calendar so always something to do or check out.

They have a great selection of new/used retro and modern consoles. And even bin of "As-is" consoles and gadgets which is why I keep coming back so much! But I felt incredibly inclined to make this review for 1 particular reason because it's something that needs to be acknowledged and I hope someone in the company sees this so they're aware and can help correct this issue. The quality control absolutely sucks here, I've purchased 2 items now this week where they were defective/didn't work. Now I understand buying pre owned you are more at risk for defects or damage. HOWEVER, I shouldn't be paying $40+ for a used PS4 controller with dirt and Cheeto marks on the outer shell. Takes 2 seconds to wipe that off for a paying customer. Secondly, I get home after purchasing this controller. Plug it in and it's drifting like crazy, just scrolls and scrolls and scrolls. It's like the staff team just accepted it from the previous owner and threw it on a shelf for the next lucky person to deal with it. A few days prior I bought a PS1 game from this store, excitedly got home to turn on my console and fire the game up to find out the game was damaged beyond repair. It would boot to the loading screen and that's it. Now, I know I should've checked this prior to leaving so I'll take that loss. BUT, they should be aware of what they are selling to the paying patrons of the store. I should not have to double check/do their work for them. I should be rest assured I'm getting quality used items/games from this store. If you own this company or you work for this company, please do us all a favor and pay more attention to the quality control of your items. If this happens to me again I'll be forced to stop supporting your business. These are incredibly easy things to fix. I shouldn't be going out of my way to consistently bring back defective items. It takes a few minutes to assure these items are working when put out on a shelve for a premium cost such as the $49 used PS4 controller. If this gets acknowledged I will adjust the current rating. I brought in 12 books that were new or in like-new condition (no damage, no markings and some hadn't even been read) and was offered just $0.50 per book, totaling $7 for all 12. This included three complete series and several standalone titles. Out of curiosity, I checked their shelves and saw some of the same books priced between $8-$15 each. Overall, it's a great place to shop for books, but I wouldn't recommend selling here if you're hoping to get fair value especially if your books are in excellent condition.

The lady that was working behind the register was selling 2 slabs per customer when the sign in front of the store clearly said 1 per customer. This was brought to her attention but openly stated that she had already been selling 2 per customer and will continue to do so. This was also said with an attitude, and with a tone of not trying to correct anything. This is highly unfair to the customers who excitedly waited outside to receive a limited item only to be faced with the disappointment of the employees we're supposed to trust going against what we have expected. I hope the GameStop Management can correct this issue, because I don't believe it should go ignored. It is a stain on the reliability of this GameStop store who I have trusted for a long time to deliver great service.
