The mani room is clean and peaceful. She did a pretty good job considering she had to cut two of my nails farther back than expected once the polish came off and we could see what was going on. He ask me , "WHY DIDNT YOU PLAN FOR THE PARKING?" how the heck can I plan for parking? I asked if I should have arrived 5am because that's the only time I could think of that I would be sure to get parking. You guys have a spa that is in a hotel but the spa guests can't use the parking space.. Maybe that's what you need to worry about Mr John or use that loud mouth of yours to push for a parking area for spa guests. 1other time I came and couldn't find parking and the receptionist arranged for me to park in the hotel parking lot. I did not know that was a 1 time situation, but thanks to BIG J's scolding, I now know. It was strange telling a grown man not to speak to me that way and stop attacking me as if he knew me personally. His response was, 'Well you don't know me either.' Bruh, well that's my point. There are so many seating options in the lobby that look as though they came out of a beach resort magazine. The hotel posts a daily board of local restaurant specials, and the hotel itself offers plenty of great extras, like wine and cheese every day from 5:00-6:00, and cookies and milk every evening at 8:00 in the lobby. Complimentary lobby coffee is available 24/7, so there are no coffee makers in the rooms. There's also a big game room with dozens of board games. They have an indoor pool and sauna, and an outdoor hot tub. Our hotel room was quite large, with a huge flatscreen TV, a work desk, a king-sized bed, a sofa, and a coffee table. The in-room Wi-Fi and the satellite TV worked great. The bath was on the smaller size, but it looked brand new. The shower had plenty of hot water and the only nitpick was maybe the pressure from the rainfall style shower head could have been a teense more forceful. We had a nice private balcony overlooking the street and their street level firepit and seating area. The overall location is great, just a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach and within hundreds of stores and restaurants. The daily breakfast was stellar -a bounty of pre-made omelets, Sausages, Baked pears, Cereals, Oatmeal (with mix- ins like nuts, chocolate, granola, seeds, coconut), Pastries, whole and cut fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, hash browns, and ham slices. Our off-season rate was a little over $100 a night, quite a good deal for the hotel's luxury and services. Guest service was excellent at every encounter we had.

The hot tub isn't big but it's fine for a few people and great to have right next to the spa. The parking is free on the off season and once you're in, you can easily walk a few blocks to the beach or all around town. I hear they have a shuttle but we never needed them. The room is very big and we enjoyed the small balcony just as a feature. On a warm day you want to just enjoy snacks and a breeze I can imagine it is wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace. The bathroom lights were a bit complicated but the tub was enormous and luxurious for a soak! The coffee nook with fridge was perfectly outfitted and great for storage. The room lights were a bit flickery but not a major issue. Paying for the higher adults only floor was WORTH IT! They keep the snacks area ready with basic chips and cookies and the cooler with sodas and water and refresh it all the time. The sitting room with its own fireplace is super cozy and you can play a card game or build legos being away from any hecticness. Plus afternoon cookies, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were not to be missed! Those were great to take as a dessert after dinner or relaxing in the room. I bet in the warmer months the outside terrace is great to enjoy for reading. The bar service was good, whether you wanted drinks or meals things came out decently in good time and well done. I think the prices are very reasonable. The area has so many great options but if you just want to stay in you'll be fine! The breakfast experience was fine- the omelet stations were good but really did take a long time. Maybe just a lack of experience. Good selection of everything and while the bakery station had a variety of scones and muffins, they weren't always fresh tasting and the fruit wasn't much a variety. They will sometimes fill up and you'll have to sit in the cold conference room rather than the cozy vestibule. So go early if you want all the best options and won't be rushed. I can imagine this place is always busy but in the off season months I absolutely recommend this to any couple or single who wants to get away- shops are still open, restaurants still active, and the beach is still refreshing!

Hot-tub looked like a good place to get electrocuted (it was taped together in places, missing covers on parts. Maybe it's perfectly safe, but gave me pause. There is only one elevator, so I'd advise taking the stairs, as it can be a wait. There is a $15.00 charge to park per day (which is cheap, I think), but I missed that when booking, so was a little surprised on checking out. Maybe remind guests of the fee on check-in? Also, while we had our own chairs, so we didn't need it, the Bellmoor charges to rent beach chairs. I can see taking a deposit, but charging just seems cheap. On the flip side, I have yet to find a really nice hotel in Rehobeth, so this might be as good as it gets.

The shuttle to and from the beach, along with complimentary beach chairs and towels, is so convenient! Hotel Rehoboth also offers some other delights like turndown service that includes a chocolate truffle. One of my favorite things is that they offer a lending library that includes a variety of books and some games for you to enjoy during your stay. Because our priority was being as close to the beach as possible, we decided to take the gamble considering we're reasonable people who know what beach-town/beach-side hotels tend to be (a little weather-worn, ya know?). Upon entering the lobby, I was instantly impressed! It was clean, inviting, and smelled incredible (giving more of a luxury hotel vibe). Check in was a breeze, pulling into the driveway and garage for parking. Huge positive is having parking included for hotel guests and you're given a parking pass to hang on your rear view mirror during your stay. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly, making sure we had all the information for our stay and we were able to head right to our room. Upon arriving to our floor, you can tell the outer spaces are weather-worn (as expected), but our room was spacious with two queen beds, large dresser with deep drawers, mini fridge, plenty of space for luggage and rack for hangers, balcony with ample space and partial ocean view, small toilet/shower space but the double sink was a huge plus! From our whole stay, I think the only negative was that there was no shower liner in the shower so - after all four of us came back from the beach and showered all that sand off, the bathroom floor was soaked which I was worried about the kids slipping and falling, so we had to use extra towels to clean that up quickly. The room was clean and tidy with warm lighting options throughout. Our floor had a vending and ice machine right by the elevator which was clutch to keep us hydrated and cool our drinks during hot days. Remember, housekeeping service is only available upon request - pro tip: request it the night before the day you'd like your room cleaned, or latest by noon the day-of. I appreciated that we let them know too late one day but they called to let us know they could have someone come while we went out for dinner, which was thoughtful. The lobby area was clutch for us, especially with the restroom because our kids always had to go whether we were heading out or heading back in and "couldn't wait." There's also an Emblem coffee machine (which can make cappuccinos, French vanilla coffee, hot chocolates and more) and water fountain. During the day, they keep the lobby coffee table stocked with oranges or snacks which is a nice touch for grab and go. The beautiful murals lining the breezeway between the lobby and the boardwalk are stunning and I lovedddd the rocking chairs at the end of the breezeway; the perfect seat to watch the sunrise/sunset or people watch! Our family agrees that the biggest positive to the Henlopen is its proximity to the water and the boardwalk action! Beach access right across from the hotel feels more private and less crowded than the areas further down off of the boardwalk.

Upon arrival to Long and Foster, I was told by two people working there that in the future I should rent from them directly to avoid all of VRBOs fees. When I looked up on the LF site I saw how much cheaper it would have been to rent direct. Red flag number 1 - no more VRBO renting for us. It almost doubled our price. Then I was told I had to pay $55 a person to use the Bear Traps pool. Considering there were 7 adults with me, do the math. And Since the weather was so bad. we could only use it one day. Now over to the property. When we got there we were surprised that there was no toilet paper beyond a roll with enough toilet paper for a child. There was also no paper towel, soap besides 1 gross dried up hand soap in one of the bathrooms, no tissues, no napkins, nothing! The place was not workable. We had to immediately go buy necessities. There wasn't even a decent size glass to use. All baby tumblers. And then there are the beds. The master bed is fine. All other beds are a foam mattress, no box springs and provide no support. And only 1 pillow per bed. My whole family had back and neck aches the whole time we were there. There are 2 old TVs in the bedrooms upstairs but non in the master. Lastly the furniture was old and stained. Oh and there was a website to report any issues but the instructions made no sense and after 3 hours you could not longer report anything. This was truly a bad experience

If you need their assistance during the weekend or non-business hours, you are in trouble. The emergency or locked out number is not local, they do not recognize where you are, and they are not able to mobilize help. You are on your own!! I received a code to access my rental property at 3:00pm and did not get in until I called a lock smith at 8:00pm. As others have said Renter Beware!!!
