Tip for Yelp waitlist customers: come into the restaurant and physically "check in" prior to the time Yelp gives you. The restaurant did not honor our Yelp waitlist and didn't put us on the waitlist until we "checked in". We spent a total of 1.5 hours on the waitlist and watched several parties after us on the waitlist get seated before us while seeing we were 1st in line. if i could give this place no stars i would. me and my family went in with a group of 12 and was told no seating in the dining area? was then told they could only accommodate us on the patio as it was raining outside. the two host girls then proceeded to talk about us as we stood there waiting about we just need to go somewhere else. short story, they can't accommodate a party/group. read more

The best breakfast we had during our MB, SC trip This by far - hands down - was the best breakfast we had during our vacation. Our server, RJ (I believe- sorry my memory isn't what it used to be), was phenomenal. He was attentive but not intrusive. Actually very disappointed in this place. It was my first time there and I was excited to try it. I ordered the florentine Benedict with fruit and an iced caramel coffee. My coffee was good but the Benedict wasn't at all. It came out cold, the croissant was hard, and the tomato and spinach was very mushy. I took two bites and then threw the rest away. Some locals recommended Drift for breakfast/brunch. It's further away from the strip but easy to get to. We arrived early Sunday and there was already a long wait. We were able to snag some seats at the bar. The menu was extensive and everything looked good. I decided on the steak and eggs and a iced coffee drink with added Kaluah. This is the best brunchy place at a beachy place that I've ever been to and the comparison isn't even close. I don't care if you're comparing it to Collins Ave in Miami or Ocean City, Maryland or some generic resort with an all-inclusive meal package. The prices are very low, food quality is amazing, and the variety is incredibly wide. We were driving from Charleston to Wilmington so Drift was on the way. We enjoyed a mermaid Mimosa and bloody Mary which were both top-notch. For meals my husband had the classic Benedict - which he advises was the best he's ever had and that's saying something because he has eggs Benedict at most breakfast restaurants we go to! I enjoyed a 'make my own'omelette with ham, tomato and feta cheese and it was perfect!
