I had services on 9/18/2011 and used my travelzoo voucher. I had booked a massage and pedicure for that morning and even called ahead to be sure my massage was with a female therapist. My check-in was easy, seemed like everything was a-ok. I was led back to the locker room and given my locker. I changed and went to go sit in the Hammam. I didn't use the Hammam because it smelled very moldy and my feelings were validated by another patron who said the same thing after she went in behind me. I decided to just wait for my massage appointment in the quiet area. There are no clocks in the spa. I was sitting and waiting for my massage for a long time when I started to get worried. I looked around the spa for several minutes and there were NO staff anywhere to help me. I then ran to my locker and tried to call the spa from my cell phone to see if they could send someone to help me, no answer. I then had to walk out to the front lobby in my robe where I waited for the receptionist to talk on the phone for AT LEAST 5 minutes before she acknowledged me. At this point it was almost 25 minutes past my original massage appointment. They then advised me that my MALE therapist was running late. I then had to negotiate getting a female therapist, which is what I had booked in the first place. It took about 5 minutes when a very sweet massage therapist came and grabbed me, I did get my full hour massage and she was very apologetic. She also gave me a pretty decent massage. I was then told that my pedicure was booked in another tower and they asked if I minded walking over to the other tower to get the services (as I stood there covered in oil and only in a robe). I said no and they quickly found someone to come over and give me a pedicure. A manager never came to talk to me or apologize for the mix up and run around. Ultimately the services themselves were adequate but the feeling of being so stressed out and not knowing what was going on left me very unhappy with this place. I generally anticipate a relaxing, calming day when I book at a spa, but this was SO not the case in this situation. Needless to say, I likely will never return to this spa. read more

Mostly annoyed and disappointed. My husband and I each booked a Swedish massage and planned to spend several hours enjoying the facilities. The bad: 1) Worst massage ever. For BOTH of us. I was informed immediately that a Swedish massage is a light pressure relaxing massage. I could upgrade for $30 to a deep tissue massage if I wanted more pressure. I understand that a Swedish is supposed to be more relaxing, but I could barely tell that she was touching me. Seriously, it was more of a caress than massage. They need to look up the definition of these massage types. I didn't want a deep tissue massage. I don't have chronic pain or muscle adhesions. But I do think that I should feel the pressure of my massage in order for it to be relaxing. My husband was told the same thing with the same results, so it is obviously policy here in order to get more money. 2) Some areas run down- such as: pool chairs had cigarette burn holes. 3) The QUIET relaxation room has a TV on with the sound up. While waiting for my massage, I had to sit and listen to a reality TV show where people were arguing and being obnoxious. I usually like to spend time in a spas waiting room, but this was the opposite of relaxing and quiet. 4) The "hot tub" outside was cold. The good: 1) I liked the variety of juices available, along with bottled water and water with lemon. Bananas, apples, and granola. 2) The hot tub area was nice. Hot water, cold pool, and decent chairs. 3) The co-ed Hammam was beautiful and relaxing. 4) Fully appointed vanity area with hair spray, hair dryers, etc. Overall, the spa is "okay" at best. I really wish I would've know there was construction going on prior to purchasing my massage. I arrived at 10am for a 1pm massage, so I could relax a bit at the spa prior to the massage. Nope. No relaxing was happening. Extremely loud jackhammers were going non-stop. Since the men's wet area has windows, the sound traveled in and echoed throughout the tiled area. Even inside the hammam, you could hear the jackhammers. The spa area wasn't the cleanest either. There were several hair balls thrown on the side of the jacuzzi and you can see a ton of mildew along the windows. I gave up and requested my massage be moved forward. I was able to get an earlier massage, and hung out in the lounge area and snacked on some granola. The massage therapist came on time and escorted me up stairs to the massage room. The massage itself was fabulous. My guy zeroed in on all troubled areas and made me walk out feeling amazing. Unfortunately, you could hear jackhammers in the massage room too. For about $140, not sure if the total experience was worth it. read more

This place was just AMAZING! I'm a las vegas local. My husband and I make it a point to have staycations as often as possible. After a relaxing bruch at simons, we stumbled acrossed the hall to the drift spa. The front desk was extremely helpfull and accomidating! We opted to spend a little more money on the Recovery package... a 3 hour long treatment that includes a scrub, bath, massage and facial... what more could you want! I was amazing that they were able to fit us in at such short notice. My husband and i lounged around the spa for an hour or so before our therapists arrived. The therapist did such an amazing job! Both of us were like butter by the end! we opted to spend a little more time in the spa facilities before taking off... all and all an amazing time, i cannot wait to head back there!!! read more

Bought two travel zoo vouchers for $60 minute Swedish and ended upgrading to deep tissue for $30 more upon arrival and was sooo worth it! One of the best massages I've had in years! The hamman was so good and was nice it was coed to enjoy as a couple. I also tried the hot and cold plunge pools were great only negative was hot pool in women's area didn't seem so clean. Otherwise locker room/shower area was very clean. I would go back with this deal but wouldn't pay more because it is really far off the strip so taxi fee's round trip makes it expensive. read more

I used a Groupon to book a 50 min massage ($59 usually $125). I'm a local but had never been to this spa. Overall, the facilities appeared nice. It's smaller, has a lot of areas with natural light, and clean. However, I think the wet sauna had a funk going on. Not super noticeable the first few minutes but when the steam goes on, I started to really notice an unusual smell. Best way to describe it, maybe similar to stinky feet? So, left there and tried hot tub and dry sauna. Both good. Wanted to take a quick shower before my treatment and, the water temperature kept changing to extreme cold and hot. Guessing this was from use of toilet or sinks in the spa by other guests. Regardless of why this was occurring, it made the experience very irritating. Went to quiet room where the therapist picks you up. There were no clocks but based on the TV programming I was picked up at probably 1:03 for a 1 pm massage (no big deal assuming all is made "right") . The therapist took me up one level which is probably 20 steps in a darker staircase which is part of the spa. Once to the treatment room, she mentioned a upsell of scented oils and to try them out before laying on table. So, let's say it is about 1:10 (give or take a minute or two) as we start. Massage was fine, felt good not bad, but nothing memorable. When completed, I knew it wasn't the full 50 minutes of massage but, with no clocks in the room, I didn't know yet how much I was shorted (my pet peeve when getting a spa service). We walked down the steps, said good bye and I walked back to the lockers where I knew of the only clock in the spa. It was 1:52, so clearly shorted by at least 10 minutes probably closer to 15. I usually shower again after my treatments and bring all my stuff from home, but because of the shower temperature problem, I just packed all my stuff and left. Gratuity is automatically charged based on 20% of the service's regular price or $25. I use the hotel spas often but, will not return to this spa in the future. My suggestion is to bring your cell phone or watch so you can monitor the time and have the discussion before robing back up and leaving the treatment room. read more

Very nice and well maintained facility. I purchased a Travelzoo deal, which was a pretty good deal for both a facial and massage. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I loved the Hammam, which is basically a big steam room - there's so much steam in there you can't even see anything (be careful, you may run into something haha). Both my massage and facial were real nice. They try to get you to add on services - which I did and was glad I added the hair treatment (my hair has been silky since then). Everything was great there, except the only thing I didn't like about the whole experience is that for Travelzoo customers (not sure if this is the case for others) they automatically add 20% gratuity. I agree gratuity should be expected, however the amount should be determined by the consumer and their experience. read more

I was genuinely surprised by the quality of this Vegas Strip Spa. You definitely pay the Strip prices here, but its so not worth it here. I had a massage and a facial that were ok, but nothing to write home about. The waiting area was crammed, not enough seats for everybody in there. The tea offered in aforementioned room is very nice, but there was no one around to offer alternatives. I eventually flagged someone down for some cucumber water. Ambiance was the most disappointing aspect. It was actually loud at some points in the hallway and lounge. Also, the staff, who is obviously used to the tourist crowd, didn't bother asking what my concerns were for my face during my facial or areas of stress or soreness during my massage. Kind of basic regimine, don't you think? Other reviewers seemed excited by the hammam, which is a nice amenity. Some seemed impressed with the fact you can stay there as long you want is but every other legit spa is like this too. Thanks for blasting the Jersey Shore reruns...it was very soothing. I was surprised by the total lack of quality in this spa. I expected much more from the Palms. I will start with the good experiences: 1. They let you use the gym. 2. They had tomato juice in the lounge refrigerator. 3. The masseuse used complimentary aroma therapy on my neck. Otherwise, the experience was sub par. The flip flops they provided ended up making my toes bleed about 20 minutes into the day. I had to wrap them in napkins. It was packed, most of the time I was using the spa rooms, they were full and really noisy. I thought there was a spa code, where you respect others... Not relaxing at all. ALL of the televisions throughout the spa and fitness areas were on Fox News. SO not appropriate for a spa, very much not relaxing. The attendants were rude and rushed (even when there was no reason to be rude). The place was run down as a whole. The steam room in the woman's wet spa was 121 degrees (according to the wall thermostat), which was unbearable for me (it was the only room not occupied by at least 5 people... in fact it was always empty). The coed steam room was nice and empty but smelled like sulfur or some chemical burning. The massage was nice, but more of a gentle caressing and less like a Swedish massage. It was nice though. This is definitely a strip priced spa- if you MUST go here, do it on a groupon. If you want a nice spa experience off of the main strip- go to the Hard Rock, I've had two great experiences there. read more

As a local, not a visitor I expect a certain level of service. After all I could become a regular client. I took my girlfriend there on 5/9/15 for her birthday. I picked that spa because we were going to dinner that night at Nove. Our couples massage was shorter than we paid for, and the massage therapists did a poor job. We could have rubbed oil on one each other and did a better job and saved the money! Their male/female steam room was filthy and even hours after leaving to go to the pool it was still not cleaned up. Used towels laying all over the place and empty water bottles littering the room. The only nice people were the attendants we had in our locker rooms. They were polite and checked up on our needs as well as answering our questions. With all the choices in Las Vegas I suggest picking a different place. I don't feel a need to give them my hard earned money. read more

This 4 star review is solely based on the massage and amenities. I received a 50 minute hot stone massage and must say it was amazing. I get massages twice a month however this was my first hot stone massage and definitely a memorable one. Along with the massage you get access to the amenities which include a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. My only complaint was the front desk service. I was over charged for both massages. I had looked at the their website prior to booking and noticed there was a special on the Swedish massage for $35 off. I guess I assumed they would just honor the price without having to tell them. Just a heads up if you book here they offer several discounts through Groupon and travelzoo. read more

The hammam is the signature touch here, not for the licentious reasons implied by the merchandising in the elevator, but for its soothing steam, aromas and music. The rest of the stock spa elements are pretty much what you've come to expect of any spa, minus the deluge showers. Don't trek out here from the Strip, but certainly drop in for a couple hours on Saturday or Sunday afternoon if you're staying in one of the Palms towers. read more

What a great spa. I had the raspberry 50 minute facial and it was so relaxing! The esthetician was knowledgeable, made me so relaxed I almost fell asleep! I started my spa day with a sauna and steam room visit, then headed for the hot tub. The hot tub was large and perfect heat. I was also lucky that I was the only one in it. It got busier later. The lounge area is nice. I like to watch girlygirl shows and Sex in the City was on, so I was happy. I met several nice ladies in the lounge and had a great time. They told me their massages were the best they had, so next time that's what I'll do. The spa is located in Palms Place, not the Palms Casino entrance. I made that mistake and was dropped off at the wrong place. Look on their website because they have great monthly specials and they are worth it. See ya next time!!! read more

I talked to Angie multiple times leading up to our trip and she was by far the most helpful person I've ever talked to when it came to getting everything set up. My boyfriend and I had a really amazing spa day here last weekend. We got the couples' massage, which included a $50 min Swedish. Our masseuses were really nice and accommodating and both did a great job. I loved the fact that we got our own private room. It was intimate and very relaxing. I loved the Hammam... it was actually really nice and not overly steamy. I also liked that there was a standing shower in there, if you need to cool off. The only thing I would change is I wish there were more unisex areas. The Hammam was the only place me and my boyfriend could meet up. I'll definitely be back though. I recently went and had a mud wrap and a spray tan. The service was great, but the treatments themselves sucked. I desperately needed a cozy wrap for my aching muscles (I had just worked in a shoe show and my body was killing me). The masseuse said I would sweat A LOT and to not worry because its normal...but I didn't sweat! She wrapped me up in the heated blankets, yet nothing. I've had wraps before and I have always sweat a lot, but I think she just didn't notice that it wasn't hot enough...maybe? So I didn't sweat. I took a shower to wash off the mud, then came the lotion application. THAT felt nice. Fast forward to my spray tan...everything was fine. The guy that sprayed me said I could put my clothes on and it wouldn't mess up my tan. Two days later, I realize my clothing did rub off my tan and it left marks :( I was hoping for the best! I have visited many spas in Vegas and this is my least favorite. No clocks anywhere, I kept having to check my phone which takes away from the experience. The spa was very clean, and staff was prompt. The steam room was fine, cold plunge, and jacuzzi no big deal. Snacks were lame. Hammam was cool, but since I was solo it sucked. Massage was OK, some spots were missing, lights were not dimmed, no scented oils used. If you get a deal I say do it, I wouldn't pay full price. Did not use gym or pool. Definitely made the experience less painful on the pocketbook (got a 50 min Swedish + access to the spa facilities for $75 - not including standard 20% gratuity). Make sure when you go to the Palms Place tower, and not the Palms tower to shave off a 10-15 min walk. The Spa is located on the 6th floor of the Palms Place tower. The facility was a tad bit on the small side, and we were disappointed that the Hammam was out of order during our visit. The big positive about the spa is that there isn't a lot of people who use it, so our small group of 7 people had our run of the place. The spa also offered some complimentary water, juice, and fruits. Overall, it was a nice relaxing experience and a great way to recover. read more

Came here for a bachelorette party on Friday, March 25. We all bought the Travelzoo vouchers and received a 50 min Swedish massage and it was a one of the best massages of my life. I had Erin and she was attentive and an absolute pro. I added the stress relieving aromatherapy to my massage and it is totally worth it. The smell helped me relax even more and I smelled so good the rest of the day. While we did not use the wet spa or the hammam, we spent the day at the Palms Place pool. It was quiet, not very crowded and easy to find open chairs. We ate at the Cafe 6 restaurant across from the spa which I highly recommend for lunch! read more

This place is awesome! For guys, this spa offers something for you to enjoy. You can come here and relax. Leave rejuvenated. Within the male locker rooms they offer private lockers, robes and slippers (upon request). They have a wet spa that includes: jacuzzi, ice bath, dry sauna, and steam sauna. Seating lounge with towels, water, and ice water infused with cucumbers. This is all in the wet spa. Outside of that, they have another lounge with a flat screen TV, Comfortable chairs, with magazines. You can snack on fresh fruit and trail mix. You can also help yourself to fresh orange, pineapple, cranberry and apple juice. Water as well. They have showers and wash stations with men body and facial care. Shaving cream, body lotion, razors, combs, hot towels, etc. Whatever a guy needs, this place has it. I recommend this place 100%. The Hamman room is really awesome. Highly recommend it! Even though my husband celebrated his birthday here in Vegas, he is sweet enough to give me a gift as well for a Swedish massage here at Drift spa. The decor was modern, lockers using number pads so no need for keys, wet spa is pretty spacious, quiet lounge is filed with fruits,mixed nuts and juice. My therapist Daria is really nice. She's experienced in hitting all my sore long overdue knotted spots. I feel relaxed by the end of the session. I will definitely come back if I visited Vegas again.I had to mention that my 8 months pregnant friend enjoyed her session as well. read more

This crazy nutjob of a woman, Amy, ruined my hair! I understand she no longer does hair, thank goodness. My experience - I had never died my hair before. I had string, thick, nonchemically treated, strawberry blonde, long (to my hips) hair and I wanted to go blonde. I know there is a need for clipping off split ends, but the woman fried my hair and told me it was normal! My hair shortened up to my chin (from being so fried). I never wanted my hair to be shorter, just blonde with a normal trimming! She let the bleach sit on my hair for about 35/40 mins. I didn't know this was not normal, based on the was my first time, so I had no previous knowledge that this is WAY too long. My scalp started itching and I had red marks around my hairline after we washed it out. When I complained about how fried my hair was, she suggested extensions that started at $1,200+! I hope she got fired! It has been over a year and my hair is still healing. read more

Was here twice this summer. Once for the international beauty conference in June 2013 then again for my mom's birthday in September. Got the apple carmel massage for a $100 and both my mom, sister and I loved it. They have great prices as compared to other spa's (like the Wynn and Four seasons) and the experience is relaxing and glamourous. Loved it. Good way to end a stay in Vegas. My mother and I got an apple caramel swedish massage and we both enjoyed it. I wished the pressure was a little stronger but over all it was good. The apple caramel oil smelled really nice. I only had time for their head and foot massage and it was good. the massage therapist was very nice and did a great job. however all of her work was diminished by the experience just before we met to walk to the room. i'm a big dude and give a 2x shirt a good stretch ;-). the male attendant asked for my shoe size and i told him one size larger (11) and he handed me a pair of flip flops which had to be a 9 or 10 at MOST! he also handed me a L robe which I could not even get around my shoulders. so i asked for a 2x or 3x... he left and brought me a 5x but it had to be a womens sized 5x because it did not cover up anything. then i met my MT and she walked me up two flights of stairs and thanks to the ill fitting flip flips it was a chore, they kept falling off. read more

Lucky me! I was given a massage at the Drift Spa just because! It was only my second time ever at a spa and it was a nice experience. My massage was great, Erin was my masseuse and she was great at working some of those dastardly knots out of my back but at the same time making me feel all jello-y and relaxed. The 50 minute massage went by way too fast but I loved that I could still use the facilities like the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. I was gonna go into the Hammam but when I started to walk in I heard some old guy singing at the top of his lungs so I turned around and left. That was just a little too uncomfortable for me. If I was with my husband or a girl friend I may have just kept on walking in cause it looked really neat in there. It will have to wait till next time I guess. After I walked out of the Hammam I was going to go back into the women's jacuzzi but there were two old ladies in there and they were naked...uh - not fun and kinda gross...so I ended up just taking a shower and getting ready to go. The singing man and the naked old ladies give this place the A-OK three star rating. read more

just want to chime in and say this place is as amazing as everyone is saying. me and my bf went in for a couple's massage. i just love the all inclusiveness of the spa. we decided to sneak in a quick 20 minute workout at the gym upstairs then took quick dips in the hot water before getting our massages. my masseuse was Dana, and she was amazing, totally felt like my body was humming after my massage. the bf didn't love his as much as I did though, maybe he needed more presssure, not sure. loved the hammam, great to just lay there and sweat it all out with your sig. other. also awesome to be able to just hang out in the spa after your massage and soak it all in. i think we were there for about 4 hours and felt AMAZING when we left. worth every penny. read more

OMG. I had a full body massage here. I must say this has been one of my best full body massages. I have many at different hotels in Vegas. I decided to give Drift @ Palm a try. I was floored by the detail that Brian paid attention to. Brian got very talented hands. You will be in heaven and asking for another hour. I'll definitely be back.
