We've eaten at Driftwood multiple times since we've moved to Star Valley. First off it's nice to find a restaurant open on a Sunday for lunch or dinner. Secondly their White Out Pizza is delicious! It's got everything but the kitchen sink on it, although you can remove an ingredient you don't like easily, and it is so amazingly tasty! Tons of toppings, lots of cheese, great crust! Another pizza I love is called the Sancho. It has enchilada sauce on it, with cilantro, and beans. It sounds kind of odd, but the taste is so incredible that I crave this pizza all the time now. It's sort of an in-between of Mexican food and Pizza. Last time we were in they had a daily special that was buffalo blue Mac and cheese. It was creamy, a tiny hint of heat from the buffalo sauce, and then the blue cheese crumbles in it, took it over the top. Will order this again no doubt. Even our two teenagers loved it and wanted more. This restaurant is a gem in the valley. Go get yourself some pizza. read more

Terrible experience two days in a row. First night they told us pizza would take 45 minutes, then chased us out saying it could be faster. Second night, preordered for 6pm (2 hours early), got there for pick up and waited close to 30 minutes in the restaurant. Ordered two pizzas and buffalo cauliflower to go. I ended up with a build-your-own pizza, since most of their pizzas have way too much happening with so many toppings. It was fine. 3/5 The other pizza we ordered was from their menu and it had so many different toppings, which we normally like, but they didn't go well together. I can't remember which one we ordered, but it was not good. 1/5 The buffalo cauliflower was alright, nothing special . 3/5 There were limited options in Alpine, which is why we ended up going here. read more

After a long day riding snow machines, we were wanting something good to eat. So happy we chose Driftwood Pizzeria! Such an inviting ambiance. We ordered a salad (the blue cheese dressing tasted incredible), cheesy bread, and two of the staff recommended offerings for pizza. Service was fantastic! Our meal was prepared quickly. The dough was perfectly balanced between soft and crunchy, the sauce was sweet but robust, and the toppings were plentiful. We've been to a lot of pizzerias across the country. This place was yummy. It's a thin crust- east coast style pizza. The Ranger Pizza is the only one we didn't eat the whole thing of. For some reason the spinach on the Ranger either added moisture, or kept the pizza from cooking, but the whole center half of each slice was totally soggy. The toppings were still delicious though. The 5633' was our favorite I'd say- we just didn't add the jalapeño. It was sweet and tangy and a perfect balance. We also enjoyed our custom pepperoni, mushroom, sausage pizza. But it was a pizza you'd expect- which is what we wanted. The garlic cheesy bread was delicious- the marinara was a star! I wouldn't say it's worth $10- but near Jackson... the price is expected. Our favorite unexpected treat was the root beer they had on tap. It was an off brand, old fashioned, cane sugar root beer. It was delicious. Don't miss out! We begin the day with a long drive up towards Jackson, we attempted to make our way through Teton Pass but the blinding snow and our tires would not allow us to continue. we were all angry as we had to continue down to hours to the next pass. DON'T DO IT! Why can't you rate lower than 1 star? Cause I'd give this place a big fat zero! By far one of our worst restaurant experiences ever. We ordered a medium half margherita and half white out, a small half margherita and half great white and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, the medium pizza was half white out and half great white (with red sauce instead of the typical white sauce) and another pizza that we didn't really get a good look at before the waitress told us it was put into the computer wrong and that she would fix it. We watched as she picked up slices and moved them from one pan to another and another. Pictured is the half margherita and half great white. Pretty doughy and very cafeteria looking. Not at all appealing and you can see the mushrooms, jalapeños and bell peppers that were from the white out pizza. It was suppose to be a small, but came out as a medium and we were told that it wouldn't fit in a small pizza, so they had to make it a medium. She brought out another medium pan that was more pizza combined together and even missing at least one slice. Even at that, it still wasn't what we ordered. Instead, it was the white out and the great white. We explained what was wrong with the order. Not just once. But this lady came back to the table two more times to ask for clarification two more times. The last part of our order finally around about 40 minutes later and while ours was at least fully cooked, it was definitely sub par. The prices aren't outrageously high, but not inexpensive either. She told us that she would come our pizza eventually without us asking, and even apologized for the mix up, but none of that came until our super late pizza was brought out. Then, as if it hadn't been a disaster enough, they charged us a medium price for what was suppose to be the small pizza! read more

Delicious Pie and so so Italian... The munchkin got alfredo and I got a meat pizza and yeah we couldn't finish, even the scavenger who doesn't usually stop eating right now. Literally my almost 10 yr old just about always out eats me and I am almost triple her size! So the ambience is totally relaxed. If you don't like fun salt of the earth folks, don't come here. I am one, so I was happily relaxed chillen in this place. We got there in between rain storms so it was nice to get fresh clean air and have a relaxed meal with the windows and doors open. I also love that the staff was super friendly and attentive. They were happy an outsider had stepped into their shop (most everyone there was a local). So yeah don't fear deliverance, these are some rocken folks. They don't have their liquor license, but encourage folks to bring their own and have a drink, corkage charge free... The munchkin ate about half her grub which admittedly wasn't my favorite alfredo but was pretty average. It was nice to see the parsley crumbles around the edges of her plate and the spring of herbs in the middle was a nice touch. My meat pizza was friggen delicious af! YUMMY! I want another one, but ohhhh well it is what it is, an 1100 mile + drive so yeah I doubt they will deliver. =\ But I had their version of a meat lovers pie and was totally stoked by it.
