    Elk Piccante pizza

Yeah buddy pizza is an awesome pizza shop right on Broadway right off of the Square. The actual floor space in the restaurant is kind of small, but the service is good and so is the food. Some local art adorns the wall and the space feels funky and cool. I ordered the Carne con Carne pizza and it was really yummy, especially with some oregano and pepper flakes. The pizza is not substantial enough to be a meal, but it is good to hold you over for a while or be a snack. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop in.

We reached within an hour of their closing but they were nice to let us sit and take our order. We wanted to try both the bison sausage and the elk sausage they make in-house. We got one pizza to share, half bisonte and half elk piccante. My husband asked to add jalapeños to one half of the pizza for "some" spice and oh my god, we could not eat those jalapeños. One bite, and we knew we had to take those off! I even went to ask if they have dessert so that we could cool our tongues but sadly they did not. So order for spicy at your own risk! Apart from that, the pizzas were well made and tasty. On another note, our drinks, vodka mule and whiskey mule, were both strong and tasty.

Great service ans great food! The place wasn't too busy when we got there around 73pl0, but by 8 it was filling up! They have a variety of interesting pies to try. We had one with elk sausage, side ceasar and the "Med" salad. Lots of beers on tap. Family owned and prices were reasonable for downtown Jackson. Id highly recommend this little gem!

Absolutely, hands down our favorite pizza in Jackson! The owners are great. The salad and pizzas are delicious. The crust is on point. The ambiance is awesome. The service is top notch. A must go pizza place if you're visiting or if you live here! Always an all around great experience with great food!

First time in Jackson, heard good things and they didn't disappoint! They give you a menu and said to sit wherever you like. Once you've decided, go up to the counter to order & they bring it to your tables. Cool art everywhere, nice staff. We got the Carne Con Carne pizza, the Pera Cipolle pizza & a Peach Italian Soda. Carne - Really good, very fresh. Husband thought prosciutto wouldn't match the other flavors, but was pleasantly surprised! He said it's the best pizza he's had!! Pera - Pretty nice. All toppings mesh well, there was no single ingredient that was overwhelming. Was looking for more from the gorgonzola, but that's a personal preference. Peach Italian Soda - Maybe I don't have Italian Soda enough, but I was disappointed in this one. It was completely separated and was a pain to combine. It was overfilled so I had to try not to spill it while stirring. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because of the Italian Soda & the price. It was good food, but kinda pricey.

Very cool restaurant in downtown Jackson hole. You walk up some stairs to get to it and the inside has some awesome art and there's outdoor seating up top. Good pizza! Thin crust, and wood fired, would come again!!

Delicious. The first one thy brought has blacked crust on the bottom, but when my wife pointed this out they immediately brought us a new one no questions asked!

Stuffed mushrooms, Caesar salad, Penne pasta, and Hawaiian named pizza that I cannot remember! But was very yummy!

I had my reservations about the spaghetti due to the egg on top, but when you mix it in, it adds to much flavor! And there is no red sauce on the spaghetti. The bread was good, the charred edges gave it flavor. Definitely tasted home made. The Panna cotta was very good but it was more thick like flan. It was also a very large portion. The smores dessert is served hot and bubbly but didn't have as much flavor. The tiramisu was to die for! Definitely recommend it! The afgotta would have been better with alcohol in the coffee. The burrata salad was very fresh and flavorful. The Caesar salad is not shown but it was delicious and very large. You are able to share this with several people at the table. Service was great! Me and one of the other hiking Baddies came in wanting something a little more quiet and low-key after such a long day. We shared the buffalo cauliflower appetizer and the Philly cheesesteak with fries, and honestly it hit the spot perfectly -- hearty, rich, and comforting after hiking. I also ordered the huckleberry mocktail and the waiter was able to add a shot of vodka for me, which made for the perfect relaxing little buzz. My friend ordered an IPA that she really enjoyed too. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. They do have balcony seating overlooking the small town, which looked really cute and I can totally see why people love sitting out there. The only thing is smaller groups may have to share tables with strangers, which just wasn't our vibe after such a long day, so we stayed inside at one of the round tables instead. Still had a nice view near the doors and a much more relaxed, intimate conversation. Overall, such a great little stop to unwind after hiking!

There wasn't a hostess when we walked in, but he noticed us and got us seated. We also ate at the bar another night and noticed how much he genuinely goes out of his way for everyone. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.
