I don't ever really leave reviews but when we left this place, I knew I had to. The service was phenomenal, our waitress checked in on us frequently and she picked up on our needs (refills, more fry sauce, etc) without us having to say anything. The owner also stopped by our table to check in with us. We got there a little after they opened so they were pretty empty but the vibes were impeccable. The menu was so cool and I loved the backstories about the meals and the owners. They also had a cool "Beers for the back" which was a fun way to interact with kitchen staff and show our appreciation. The elk ravioli was delicious and so flavorful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Definitely the kind of place I'd keep coming back to until I've tried everything on the menu. read more

We've been in the area for about a week and we wanted something local. The food was very good, the service was excellent, the draft beer selection was great and very cold and the homemade fries and sauce were a highlight. The staff all got involved to help us, got their uncle to tow our trailer to their RV park, ( free of charge) and checked on us. The people here are really nice. We got here at opening on a Sunday. There are several seating areas - lots of high top tables in the bar area. There is a covered and enclosed patio area that has regular tables and is pet friendly. On this warm day they had cooling devices running so it was very comfortable. They had slushy machines at the bar, so we ordered the Tiger Blood cocktail with rum. The other was mudslides. The drink was good but overly sweet so it was a challenge to finish. We shared an order of smoked wings with chili sauce on the side, and the fried pickles with peanut sauce. Both were really good. Also, if they aren't making their own ranch and blue cheese dressings, then they are using a high quality product. We then ordered the fried cod and fries with a half-wedge salad for an upcharge and split those. Very good and very filling. The server was very attentive. And I liked that the bar serves both the interior and the covered patio. They have an outdoor patio with a fire pit. Nice setup. read more

Beautiful place. Great atmosphere but definitely loud. Decent service. However the smoked chicken wings were probably the worst chicken wings I ever had. Shoney's and Sizzla have better wings. Buffalo sauce was on the side instead of smothered when the wings came out of the fryer. Wings were not smoked.....probably liquid smoke added. Horribly dry and overcooked. We are traveling from Mississippi to the west coast and stopped here on our way. We'd thought with there being only maybe 2 restaurants in the area that it would be homey and welcoming but it was far from that. Our southern charm was quickly dismissed and we felt like outsiders. It seemed everyone knew each other there which could have added to this but overall the service was not good. They forgot about us at our table and we never got our servers name. The tap root beer was the best thing there... the pizza had little flavor. I've had better frozen pizza. My husband got the bison burger and it was a little undercooked. He said it wasn't horrible but it wasn't enough to rate it better. For just the two of us, we paid nearly $60- it was just way overpriced for the quality and the service we got. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. There is plenty of parking, they have rooms to rent, inside and outside seating, horseshoes and play area for kids , great food, full bar, pool tables , and great service. While we were on a 5 day fishing trip , our group of 4 ate here every night. We also ordered food to go to eat on the boat the next day. The servers were very accommodating to my guys and My low carb diet . They gave us extra greens and cheese without additional charge. The owner remembered us from a couple years ago. We had the pleasure of staying here 5 nights. This place is wonderful! Cute comfortable atmosphere. GREAT FOOD downstairs! Kate and her staff made us feel right at home. They gave us great advice on where to jet ski, swim, play and were just good people! There were 5 of us so we stayed in 2&3. It worked perfect as room 2 has lots of space to hang out. They were very unwelcoming and wanted to make that clear. One man (with support of the bartenders) said "Black Lives Matter" to me. You would think that's solidarity, but it was clear they were making fun of us and this bar is just a bunch of ignorant, racist white people who make fun of PAYING customers who look different to them. The atmosphere was unwelcoming. Burgers were okay, but not worth the price considering they were reminiscent of the ones served at school cafeterias. Overall disappointing experience that left one with an uncomfortable feeling and a strong desire to flee the scene and go literally anywhere else. This type of attitude is illogical considering the fact that tourists supplement the city's economy and should be treated with at least polite courtesy, rather than as if they were lepers. We were there as paying customers and I feel disappointed to have supported such a clearly atrocious business model. Now I see why the restaurant is called Snake River, because clearly the workers employed at this location are a bunch of snakes. read more
