Cutty's truly has one of the best cheesesteaks this side of the Mississippi- and the service and atmosphere was excellent. Bartenders were so welcoming and helpful. The other guest were also really friendly. You don't have to be an EAGLES fan to come and enjoy their amazing food. But I am an eagles fan- and I really appreciated the constant "GO BIRDS!" Probably the only Philly bar/restaurant in Jackson! they ship the cheesesteak bread from Philly which is really cool. They can do any sandwich with steak, chicken, or veggies so options for everyone! Cutty's on West Highway 22 in Jackson is a local pub and hangout spot serving American style bar food and pizza. During my visit, I had mozzarella sticks and french fries we're just OK. I'm used to mozzarella sticks being crispier (having more of a crunch) and the cheese being a little bit more gooey. But overall they were OK but the marinara sauce was a bit underseasoned. The fries were good though. Service was fast. The waitress came by like two or three times during my meal. I came by there and happy hour. so I only ended up paying $10. read more

I've had dozens of cheesesteaks in my life. This one was the most expensive one yet, at $20 for a single sandwich with no sides. The roll was very good: soft and just the right amount of chewy. The amount of meat was acceptable. The good things end there. The amount of cheese was insulting. The flavors were nothing like a normal Philly. My sandwich was very soggy. This is not large enough to justify $20, I polished it off in 5 minutes. My order was to go, so I don't know if that changed anything but it shouldn't have. I was starving so literally anything would've tasted great but this did not hit the mark. Disappointing, especially considering these other reviews. read more

My group really liked Cuttys. The cheesesteaks were top-notch and massive. The fries and onion rings were all really good. They had a large, varied menu of different sandwiches, and my group tried several different versions of cheesesteak. They were all great, but the favorite was probably the classic. The atmosphere was very much sports bar vibes mostly full of locals when we visited. However, they welcomed us visitors, and the service was great. Food came out fast and hot. Prices are very reasonable. There are multiple parking spots right at the front, and it was very easy to find. Definitely would come back if ever in the area! read more

The Original Philly was warm with plenty of beef. The skin on, French fries were hot and crispy- A+. I was happy to see various salads on their menu. Save yourself 17 dollars a sandwich and go to Down into town. The food sucked. The service sucked. The bartender was horrible. We ordered 3 sandwiches, all had ingredients in them not written on the menu. I ordered zucchini fries and got fried pickles and when I asked about it the bartender snatched the tray off the table and gave me a snotty answer saying "we don't serve zucchini fries" without asking if I wanted to keep them. We would eaten them, but was confused as to why the lady would say they did have them if they didn't. She hardly paid attention to our table and we sat for 30 minutes without having the check picked up. So we went to go pay at the front desk and she flagged us down like we were trying to leave without paying. She was horrible. We will never be back here. Don't recommend. read more

I love this place!!! Disclaimer: I haven't had a Philly while in Philadelphia yet I would have to say the food and phillys here were pretty incredible. I have had sandwiches and I have had salads and they are filling and have quality ingredients. Drinks are also good. Since I'm not doing bread these days I always get the Philly salad with a bunch of veggies on top and it does not disappoint. Servers are kind and courteous. Before beginning the evening fish here in Jackson, we stopped at Cutty's, and we were pleasantly pleased by how excellent this food is. We placed an order for a Stromboli, 3 Phillys, and a basket of fries. The portions are substantial and quite filling here. When you bite into the Philly for the first time, you can taste the bread, which is flown in by plane from Philadelphia and utilized for the sandwiches. Stopped in at this awesome little spot that I think is family owned while in town on vacation! And man this is a awesome spot to stop in and check out! The ambiance is more like a sports bar or locals spot! And the service was definitely top notch from several different workers and they were all very friendly and welcoming and inviting! She says it was one of the best she ever had. So I decided to come back and watch the baseball game and sit at the bar. Found my new go to local beer called Melvin IPA. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza and it was a solid piece. I'm from out of town so I don't know when I'll be back. If you want a free meal go to Cuttys!!! Me and my family went there for dinner after a long day. We ordered pizza and when it came out, half out the bottom of the pizza was burnt and the other half was uncooked. My mom and grandparents told our waitress and asked if they could make it again. After the second came out it was still burnt a little even more. The cooks were staring at us to see if we liked the pizza. We didn't. Our waitress said thats normal when we pointed it out again. The manager or owner came out and said it's free. My mom didn't care about the money she just wanted a good meal for her kids. We were going to pay for the pizza but, he proceeded to get more upset and was offended that we didn't like the pizza, BECAUSE IT WAS BURNT!!!
