Great location bit much much better places to stay for about 75$ more next door! Place smells of not sure what mold I guess cause my throat hurts ASAP Ac doesn't work gal said open the window I guess I would cept it doesn't open. There answer is you wang to check out? Well I would if it weren't 4 pm Xmas eve and we are meeting family for dinner and church. Find another place the much cheaper holiday inn may be just as rough. If you want ocean just suck it up!

I give the Driftwood five stars for being excellent at what it is. It's an old historic inn that is very rustic and historical. I'd prefer the creaky staircase to polished marble any day. The room was old and had a comfy, lived in feel. It didn't have the sterile feel that chain hotels have. That's not to say it wasn't spotlessly cleaned because the important parts were. The staff was excellent. Parking was spotty because we were there on July 4th. We will definitely return.

The 'bedroom' really just a cubbyhole with a bed in it.

Be prepared for a VERY rustic experience here. Bring your own towels, as they only provided ONE each bath towel, hand towel and face cloth. When they say partial kitchen, it is so not a kitchen. When I checked in I asked a few questions of the desk clerk, every answer I got was 'I don't know. ' my question is....why is she working here? This experience solidifies why I prefer Hilton.

Go ahead and book a night here if you can find a good deal. For roughly $200 a night, you get a very nice suite right on the ocean. One king bed, a full kitchen, a pull out couch and phenomenal balcony. You get an awesome bathroom with a separate room for the toilet with a pull chain, old-timey tub with feet (in addition to a regular shower), and stained glass natural lighting. Sure the television didn't work and half the clientele are creepy rednecks, but you still have a whole beach and two (2) pools you can use to escape them. They keep the whole lot nice and dark at night. Gloria Estefan's place looks like a distracting pink lighthouse from the beach. You can relax your eyes are keep an eye out on the dark sea. The drunk crowd settles down well before 10am (on a weekday at least) so you can enjoy your large, private balcony in complete darkness and silence all night long.

This is the "Cinnamon Toast Crunch" on the rocks. Rum Chetta with Fireball Whiskey. Delicious!

Located on the beach in Vero Beach. A place to stay that has a lot of history. Some of the building still have the old wood used from a century ago. I've stayed in a few different rooms over time. Each room has its own unique characteristics. Won't break the bank either staying here. There are two pools and a bar/restaurant onsite. They have private parking but it can definitely fill up during season. Located on Ocean Drive which is within walking distance to shops and other venues. Bike rentals are near as well. Also on the beach you can rent kayaks and umbrella seating (private contract company.)

My husband and I had room 205... room was facing the beach and the view was wonderful. I do think they could a better job with maintenance. Zach at the front desk is great. Loved it!

The resort itself is extremely family friendly, which we loved having our daughter with us. Everyone we interacted with was so helpful and happy! So many cast members were excited to play with our daughter which we loved! When checking in we received the schedule of events, maps and rental guides as well! The room and amenities were clean and well taken care of. Parking was available but not always close to your room, but also the walks weren't bad as everywhere on property was so pretty! All of the rooms had either a balcony or patio space as well. You have private beach access, the ability to rent a variety of beach items, pool, splash pad, mini golf and more! They had a schedule of activities (similar to what you would get on a cruise ship!) and so much to do to stay busy. Overall the resort was beautiful and we can't wait to come visit again!

There was a bead and couch that converts to a bed (easily) overall the room was nice. The pool was pretty warm, the ocean was a little chilly, the slide was fun there's also mini golf, pool table, bars, tennis, shuffle board ect. We parked across the street and walked in the tunnel that was interesting. I enjoyed this resort! The no-se-um were Awful but it's not the resorts fault.

The place is right on the beach, which is great and they have a few afternoon lunch options on the property. Bathrooms are clean and our friend's room was spacious. Shout out to Cassie, Rosie and Joey with Valet who remembered Bailey's name immediately. We were offered champagne at check in and given a nice map of the grounds. The resort itself is a little on the older side but all the amenities are still well kept. With my IHG status, we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and some sweets. The room was clean and had a huge dining room and kitchen area. It had all the essentials for a homey and comfortable stay. We loved that there were dog treats and little gift pouches in the reception area. The pool area is big and had pleasant lounge chairs. The gym is missing a trendmill, there are bikes for cardio but not great options. The restaurant we had breakfast at was pretty good. The chicken and waffles was amazing and the bagel sandwich was delicious.

Very quiet area. Everything you need is at the cottage and Heather was great and very accommodating. She respects your privacy. Short walk on the boardwalk to the beach and bam you are in paradise! We went in December. Barely anyone there. Its like having your own private beach! The beach is much wider in this area than northern Vero where the hotels are at and this beach is a shell hunters paradise. If you want a quiet getaway at a reasonable price with a nice big beach then I highly recommend you come here. Totally worth it!

Heather was outstanding in answering our questions before and after we booked, and welcomed us immediately upon arrival. With only 4 cottages, this place is quiet and cozy, and perfectly located. Cottage 4 is closest to the beach, but I don't believe there is much of an actual view. I could be wrong. We were in Cottage 1 which is closest to the road, but hidden behind shrubbery for peace and tranquility, and offers the most privacy away from the other cottages. Our cottage had absolutely everything we needed - plates, utensils, plastic wrap, seasonings, electric lighter for barbecuing, bowls, pitchers, lots of books, extra light bulbs and toilet paper, a tea kettle, microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, full sized fridge, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Even the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella were of nice quality and clean. We ordered Uber each time we wanted to go in to downtown Orchid Island and typically paid about $7 each way. Uber doesn't understand the exact address so just tell your driver you're at the corner of Ocean and Sea Gull when he/she contacts you. Overall, this has been a truly pleasurable long weekend at Seahorse. We are still here with two more nights to go, and loving every minute of it!
