I really like their concept and vibe, but I do wish it was in a slightly safer area. They offer three drink options that rotate every Tuesday, which is fun but also made it tough to choose--each one sounded so unique, but the descriptions didn't really help explain what the drinks would actually taste like. I asked the staff member at the window for some clarification (like whether a drink leaned more mango, spinach, or coconut), but unfortunately, he wasn't able to give much detail. Pricing-wise, it's $12 for a regular and $17 for a large, which is on the higher side, but understandable for a protein-packed, health-focused drink. We ended up ordering the Slim Thicc and the Ghostride Green. Slim Thicc had a tropical mango flavor that was really smooth and satisfying. I'm obsessseddddddd. My cousin shared a photo of her drink thicc smoothie on instagram and I immediately was influenced to go check it out the next day. This takeout smoothie shop took over where The Lumpia Company used to be. It's all street parking around, but we had no problem finding a spot a block or two away (and we could've even parked closer). Just pay attention for any meters! There were a few people before us in line when we arrived but everything moves super quickly. Once we got to the front to order, they had our two smoothies ready within 5 minutes. Perfect for a quick stop before you head to the gym/work or you can be like us and pick up a smoothie for your walk around the lake. They rotate their menu every tuesday and feature 3 different smoothies each week. They announce it on their instagram with a breakdown of what each smoothie has. Everything is packed with healthy, organic ingredients that taste good and feel good. Bonus points that a portion of sales gives back to the community. I tried their strawberries n cream which has banana, strawberries, milk, coconut cream, and dragon fruit. I really liked it! You get a little more coconut cream flavor than I expected so if you're not a huge fan of coconut, this might not hit it out of the park for you (it's me - I'm not a huge fan of coconut). Still really good but wish I had a little less coconut. I could prob just ask for that adjustment next time. My husband got the blue zone which has banana, pineapple, milk, coconut cream, and blue spirulina. Loveddd this one. It's a really tropical smoothie because of the pineapple but has that sweetness from the banana. Can't wait to come back to try other flavors! read more

The menu rotates weekly with three drinks so if you reallllyyy like something, you're out of luck until it comes back. The blue zone was so mega bussin it was giving erowhon smoothie. Strawberries and cream had light and refreshing flavors. Both were on the sweeter side which is exactly what I wanted. I like the menu and the ingredients but after tasting how sweet these are I can confidently say they're not being honest about the macros listed on the menu OR they're quoting calories for an 8oz portion and serving up a double/triple. There is no way a Slim Thicc smoothie loaded with that much sugar (mango, pineapple, dates) and fat (coconut milk) plus all the protein powder etc would sit anywhere under 400 calories. This place is a hole in the wall in Oakland. They have 3 to 4 different smoothies every day, and the options rotate. It's a small team, I want to say there is one cashier and one person making a smoothies, although the ladies from the office love to come here at least twice a week during lunch.
