We stopped by here for after-lunch dessert. All of us had different varieties of vegan ice cream. Everything was so delicious. Sugar and taste were well balanced. Liked the creative toppings. I have been juiced obsessed for a while. I'm glad that having something go wrong and be remedied finally got me to post a yelp review. Only one part of my delivery showed up today. When I called the shop the young man seemed aware that their was an issue and very calmly said you will get the rest of your order today. It came by way of a different courier a reasonable amount of time later. I was initially purchasing pressed product via Uber Eats until I realized the pricing was better in the pressed app and that I could have the local delivery for free. Absolutely unacceptable as I spend so much money here. I bought juices today and received a pressed orange juice that expired on 07/31/2025 and another orange juice that expires on 10/28/2025. The consistency of the expired juice caught my attention and tasted sour and I threw up immediately and felt sick. If one juice expires a little over 2 months from today, that should mean the expired juice was bottled in May 2025. The expired juice bottle also feels pressured and im sure it's due to fermentation and bacteria growing. Per their statement, produce is usually bottled within days of harvest and good for two weeks out. Additionally, the expiration information is engraved with no color into the bottle which can make it very hard to read. I'm very upset and will be contacting corporate and others. read more

My husband is a member, we walked into this location and a young man was behind the counter we asked a few questions and stood there for a-few minutes waiting for a response and he just looked at us and went about his business answered none of our questions after my husband raised his voice and said hello im talking to you the he then proceeded to take headphones out out both ears and said " oh my bad im hard of hearing "!!!!! I haven't been to pressed juicery in a while. The location is conveniently next to Safeway and many other stores/restaurants I frequent however the parking is hit or miss (street parking only). The last few times I have been to this store, I found service to be extremely slow and unmotivated; There were more than one instance of me doing a mobile order the night prior and going in to pick up only after receiving the email from them but my order not actually being ready. I've also run into them being out of ingredients for some of their bowls and also selling drinks that expired so quickly that I couldn't even make it through the cleanse despite starting almost immediately after picking up the drinks. The juices themselves are great and certainly do help with cleansing. They offer a variety of veggie and/or fruit juice mixes which is nice and they often have deals where you can get discounts for buying in bulk. Overall I like pressed juicery but there are definitely some improvements that this store condo benefit from. I am not sure if the other locations have similar issues but I hope not. read more

I was in major need to lose some weight to fit a bridesmaid dress for a postponed Covid wedding so I wanted to do a cleanse. I looked online and decided to do a 3 day juice cleanse. This being my first, I opted to do cleanse 1 for beginners. It was very easy. I downloaded the app and placed my order and it's made to be picked up that day. I also started a VIP account for discounted prices since I know I'd be purchasing from here often. My order was ready for pick up and all boxed and labeled in their fridge, it took less than an hour. This location is located in North Berkeley and parking is a little difficult on busy streets. I parked a little further and walked. If you check in on Yelp you can get a free wellness shot, I opted for the Wellness shot which was super gingery and strong! I also got a free açaí bowl for starting my VIP membership. I'd recommend Cleanse 1 if this is your first cleanse, they have a great mix of sweet drinks and green juices. Everyone looks forward for the Vanilla and Chocolate at the beginning and end of the days. You drink a drink every 2 hours and it keeps you pretty full. It's recommended to drink lots of water in between too. Lots of people feel like they have to go pee a lot. Apparently there's about 4 pounds of pressed produce per bottle. It may not look like it, but it sho' does taste like it! They have a neat rewards program where you can earn points on every purchase. They also have a 4 for $20 celery juice deal going on. I signed up for the rewards program and got my first juice for free 99, y'all! Today they even hooked me up with the cutest little fanny pack! This location opened 5 months ago and I finally visited. It is great to have them in the neighborhood. They are in a great area for foot traffic. Bad for me that it's hard to find parking. The products have the same quality I expect when going to Pressed. I'm also a VIP member so I go to their stores on a regular basis. This store was pleasant and the person behind the counter made me feel welcome from the moment I entered to when I left. She took her time answering my questions and made suggestions. There may be a few kinks in the system and may run out of things quicker than other stores. I remember seeing one in Danville, but when I went onto their website, I saw that there was one in Oakland! I was so excited that there was one close by that I am able to ask Hubby to take me to and we don't have to go far. About 2-3 minutes after placing my order, I got a call letting me know that one of the drinks that I had wanted is not available, and Ray I believe was nice enough to let me wait until I get to the store to pick my replacement. It's a bit hard to find parking, as it is only street parking, but we got lucky enough to find a spot so I can run in and get my order. Store was clean, staff was nice. Everything went smooth. The cookie dough crumbles on top were also pretty medium. The soft serve could do the trick if you're looking for something healthy and refreshing, but it is not very indulgent. I just swung into this store to purchase six juices. I literally had to interrupt the two young girls that were working there and say I want to purchase six juices. As I was just about to say my order, the one girl yelled across from the sample area and said she couldn't believe what a mess people made it. They continued to talk over me. I picked up my credit card and walked out. They appeared to not understand why I was leaving? Unbelievable lack of service. I don't need to be greeted in an overly friendly manner, but I do need for staff to stop talking to their coworker long enough to take my order. Haven't gotten to that stage of my life where I can justify purchasing $10 juices, but my favorite treat is their pressed freezes (when the machines are working haha)! I swear by their açaí freeze, and during the fall season, their pumpkin freeze is also a really festive yet tasty option. For toppings, I usually go for strawberries, blueberries, and either their chocolate drizzle or granola butter (you really cannot go wrong with either). Occasionally, the coconut flakes also hit the spot! I love coming here whenever they have deals for their freezes and açaí bowls -- it's the best post-studying dessert. During halloween, they were also giving out large candy bars, which was sweet. One reason I'm docking a star off is because the manager was really rude during an instance I came with a few of my friends. She was training a new team member, and made us wait almost 30 minutes for our orders so it could be made by the new employee (we all ordered separately, and she made other people's orders despite us being in line first). When he over-estimated the amount of freeze, she made him shave off parts of it, re-weigh the bowl, and discard the extra açaí. By the time the last person in my group of 4 ordered, they ran out of açaí (probably because half of it was in the trash).
