I recently stopped at Drip City in Oak Hill and am now hooked. I drive in from Wimberley and it is now the only place that I will shop for prerolls of THC-A. Their prices and service are excellent. I went last Sunday and Mariah helped me with my purchase. I told her that I only come in once a week to shop. Mariah was so sweet and helpful. With her help I purchased 9 grams of prerolls, some have 2 grams. They have a very generous discount. This was my third time to shop there and I received a $10 discount and applied it to my purchase. For $26. I received 9 grams, which came to $2.88 per gram. You just can't beat that price and the quality was excellent. Thank you for all of your help Mariah. Don't buy any Delta 8 or CBD products here, out of all the smoke shops I've been to in Austin for the past 4 years, all the disposable Deltas I tried from this place were the lowest quality ever. I never even heard of a Delta overflow its liquid up and out from its device, but somehow it happened to the ones I bought from here, especially a few hours after I bought the Affinity brand one. I genuinely only inhaled 3 smooth hits from the new device so I assumed it was okay when I first bought it and tested it in my car before driving away. Then later, after pressing the heat button or when trying to inhale it, I could feel the actual liquid burning my mouth and tongue and the sticky liquid was all over my lips and teeth... Then I went back (since it was less than 24 hours) to ask the staff if they could exchange it since it literally emptied itself out, but they said they couldn't do anything about it since it was all empty...and they assumed I finished it in less than a day....they didn't seem to believe me.. they didn't even let me explain myself.. especially the girl working (Hispanic complected curly hair) was all defensive and like "I didn't sell it to you"... like girl you're no help.. she was more defensive and condescending than actually helpful, and the guy with glasses literally had no idea what he was doing... when I literally showed them how sticky and gross the device was...and their "help" was suggested I just buy a new one and give me a 10% discount for it ..... so I suggested if I could to try their gummies, before officially being done with them, and they gave me a 0.75 cents discount for them (Normal Price 20$) for the "courtesy" of what happened with the disposable. When I genuinely only got 3 hits from a new device here, before it became faulty and overflowed all the sticky liquid out. SMH. Go somewhere else for CBD or Delta because it's definitely not the "quality" as they claim to be. FYI gummies aren't as good as the smoke shops in East Austin so don't bother spending your money here. I have yet to feel this way about an establishment. I've only ever given a place a really poor one star review once - and that was for a deliberately racist establishment. This instance isn't racism or prejudice, I think it's equal opportune rudeness. The man who works (I believe he's the owner - he has a shaved head) has shown really some interesting character. Once I pulled up 4 minutes after closing and he was locking up and told me "I'm not opening back up" which didn't offend me - I get it. It was late. I came back expecting something different. This time I came back asking for shisha and he said "we don't have it" and I asked him when he expected more in and he said "when it becomes popular again.". I think this guy has forgotten that being rude to the customer will cost him business. I hope that in the future he is kind to people who want to spend money at his shop. read more

I've been here a few times. Selection on e-cig stuff is great. All the staff is very knowledgable about vaping things. To those who said the markup is ridiculous, yea, the juice costs more than at most vape shops, but that's because it is high quality name brand juice that doesn't clog your coils. Name brand juice is twice the price as "in house" mixed juice because it is more consistent, it's made in larger batches and much more accurate. Look online, name brand juice is about 15$ a bottle. It's the same here. Go in educated, know the online price and the shipping price and time, and make an educated decision, or pay the extra and get some advice from the professionals. I think it's worth it. Just go in with a budget and expectations, they will help you sort out your needs without any attitude. Great store, good selection, good people. read more

Another unsatisfied military customer: Last Friday, St. Patrick's day I called Drip City looking for creme brulee juul pods. I was told they had some. When I came to buy the pods I purchased 3 packs of pods. I asked if they offered a military discount, to my surprise they did, 10% off. I was impressed because I wasn't expecting a vape shop to offer a military discount. Today 3/21/17 I called and asked if they had any creme brulee pods left, they had 3. I asked them to hold them for me and I would be there in an hour. When I showed up to buy the pods I handed the clerk my military id to validate my discount. He informed me that they were not offering a military discount on the pods and that I would have to pay full price. I replied that's a little strange considering I was just in the store three days ago, and received a discount. His explanation was that because the pods are in such high demand, he's been instructed not to give any discounts on juul pods until they are fully stocked, and once they have a better supply the discount will continue. He also informed me that the other clerk 'got in trouble' for giving me a discount on the pods the first time. If the company's policy is to give military members 10% off any store purchase then that is the policy. All of sudden because a product is in high demand the company policy goes out the window? And the other store clerk got in trouble for following company policy? I was extremely disappointed when I left the store. I drove from North Austin area just to come to this store because they offer a discount to the military. I could go anywhere to buy them. I just thought why not support this business for hooking up the military. I hope the extra $7 and change you made off me was worth it because I'll never come back, nor will I recommend Drip City to any of my fellow military friends. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Prices are comparable to any other shop in town, and the guys behind the counter seemed to have a passion for authenticity. I came in today thinking I needed to get my coils rebuilt, but the employee told me that I had just put the cotton it wrong. He showed me how to correctly rewick my vape free of charge. Great place when it comes to vaping really, could use a few more authentic RDA's but it's far more impressive than their glass side. The staff seemed very knowledgable when it comes to everything e-cig, and answered every question I had asked. Raquel was wonderful. Poor collection of local glass, 90% of the selection seemed to be mass produced pipes and pieces shipped in. No customer service, the sole employee there when I went in to return an item was adamantly on the phone and refused to get off, even when I came back about an hour later. I went to another shop and was helped well and promptly. Employee was spaced and wearing a 2nd amendment t-shirt, really impressive, especially when looking at their prices. Returning the next day, I had to spend a great deal of time talking with the manager to get a refund for the unused item I had tried to return the day before.
