I absolutely love DRIP Nail Salon. I have been going here for over 2 years. All the technicians are wonderful but AB has been my favorite. He is extremely nice, helpful, and always does an amazing job. My gel manicures always last 3-4 weeks which is an incredible testament to his skill and ability. Everyone at Drip is very nice and the environment is relaxed and fun every time I am there. It's disappointing to see some negative reviews (even for my favorite technician, AB) because the whole team and AB are all fantastic! Clearly anyone who has left a poor review for them went in having a bad attitude and some people you can never please. I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and felt completely disregarded as a customer. I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment only to be told that my nail technician had called in sick and that the salon had attempted to notify me at 9:15 a.m. By that time, I was already on the road and nearly at the salon. While I understand that emergencies happen, giving a customer only 15 minutes' notice for a cancellation is extremely frustrating and shows very little respect for the client's time. I asked whether another technician could perform the manicure, and a technician named Ab took over. During the appointment, he casually told me that he had been out with my original nail technician the night before and that they had gone bar-hopping together. Hearing that was upsetting because I had been told she was too sick to come to work. Whether or not that was the reason for her absence, it immediately made me question the explanation I had been given. After he applied the builder gel and polish, I noticed that several nails looked noticeably uneven. One side of multiple nails appeared much thicker and higher than the other, creating a ballooned, lopsided appearance. In addition, large portions of the sides of my nails were left without polish, leaving my natural nail visible. When I politely pointed out these concerns, I expected a professional discussion or an attempt to correct the issues. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and blame. I was told that I was wasting his time and that the problem was caused by my natural nail shape. While I understand that no one's nails are perfectly symmetrical, that does not explain why multiple nails had obvious product buildup on one side and incomplete polish coverage on the other. The technician then removed everything with a visibly poor attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he brought over the cashier and I felt as though I was being confronted for raising legitimate concerns about the quality of the work. After spending an hour in the salon, I left with no completed manicure and nails that looked worse than when I arrived. What shocked me most was that they still charged the full price of the service. I asked the cashier to contact the manager or owner and explain what had happened, but I was told that management instructed them to charge me in full despite the circumstances. I told them that this was unreasonable as they had taken off everything and left my nails looking worse (I have attached photos of how my nails looked when I left the salon). The entire experience from the last-minute cancellation, to the poor workmanship, to being blamed for pointing out obvious issues, and finally being charged full price for a manicure that was removed left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Everyone can make mistakes, but what truly matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, this salon demonstrated poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and very little regard for its customers' time or concerns. Update: the owner called me and told me she is reporting me to the authorities. This is the worst gaslighting I have ever experienced. She was extremely defensive and did not apologize once. She told me that a service was provided and that I needed to pay. I explained that they messed up my nails then removed everything and left my nails in worse condition. I cannot believe this is even happening. Please do not go here. read more

I was excited to try a new spot. The vibe is nice, facility was clean and pretty and the check in was easy. I was assigned a Hispanic male nail tech and a woman who is clearly his friend was my pedicurest. They spoke Spanish and laughed the whole time, which was a little uncomfortable for what was seemingly an upscale place. He worked very fast and ended up cutting my cuticle too far back, making me bleed. At the end of the service my nails (both mani and pedi) looked worse than when I walked in. He left my nails uneven, with snagged edges and wounded cuticles. The pedicure tech left the toes painted outside of the lines, uneven finish and even the tips weren't completely painted. If I hadn't been with clients I would have asked for a manager and complained on the spot. The service is NOT worth the price. Find a different place. read more

My friends recommended Drip to me, so I gave it a shot! First of all, the salon is gorgeous. It's very aesthetically pleasing and unique. Very different from other, very overstimulating salons. Everyone was very kind and I felt comfortable however, my nails did not come out the way I wanted to (the design, color, shape, etc.). I came back to see what they could do to help, and I was really nervous and hesitant because I NEVER complain when it comes to any sort of services, unless it is really making me unhappy, because I know how hard it is to work in the service industry, however, this was necessary. I talked with Linh, who explained she educates all of the technicians and teaches classes. She was very kind and immediately validated my feelings, offered to take off my nails and completely re-do them for free. She took really good care of me and really good care of my nails!! She was so gentle, typically my nails hurt so bad when I get them done and after when the nails are on, but there was no pain at all. THANK YOU LINH and again so validating of my feelings and explained she was grateful I came back, because this is a "good educational moment" and will utilize this to "get better" and make the salon and technicians better overall, which I thought was so great. She even said that I need to speak up if something is wrong so they can help! She had another technician, Marina, do my nails after they were removed because she is very good at and enjoys doing the type of nails and design I requested (Y2k style with French tip). I loveddddd Marina!!! She was also extremely validating of my feelings (encouraging me to speak up if there is anything wrong and just overall made me feel so comfortable). She did a wonderful job on the application, shape, design, and French. I'm huge on shape and I think she did a great job at perfecting the shape of my nails. I've been back 3 times after finding this place, I love it! The inside has a great aesthetic and is so clean. I've gotten 2 manis and brought a friend with me for pedis. I would suggest always booking online (since it's a smaller shop), which is super easy as they prioritize booked appointments however you can get a walkin in a pinch, but if it's busy you might be out of luck. Parking is a little tough bc it fills up with the stores next to it and the lot is small. Right next to it, there is a paid lot you can park in for ~$8 an hr. read more

I received full service for my hands (acrylic removal & poly gel added w/designs) and my feet (gel polish removal w/pedi & 2 broken nail repairs), both of which was overpriced for the services rendered. Upon entry, the guy standing at the front desk seemed to be either micromanaging or training the female that was checking in the customers. Needless to say, he was NOT welcoming AT ALL (didn't even make eye contact with customers...rude). Throughout my time there (about 3hrs), he walked around as if he was God's gift to humanity & had a very cocky vibe about himself, but at least the other staff members were very friendly & professional. On to my services - the lady doing my pedicure was very nice but I left with my big toenail looking like it belonged on a man's foot. She built out the nail past the skin on both sides, so much that I had to request that she file it down. The polish part of my pedi, I could have done a better job myself but I did not want to hurt her feelings, so I let her make it. Bless her heart, she was an older staff member & she did her best. My nail tech was SUPER chill & patient but when I showed her the design, she seemed like it wasn't attainable at first but said, "I should be able to do that.", and she made it happen. There was a little trial & error but she executed it well. Now on to the checkout part & unfortunately the part that brought about this review. I get to the counter to check out, and the female in training (or being micromanaged) was there by herself. She gave me the rundown of my services & asked if she could look at my designs. I showed her my hands, and while doing so, in comes Mr. No Personality. She proceeded to calculate my bill, and Mr. No Personality (still not making eye contact) says to me, "Can I see your nails?", so I show him my nails also. He pointed at the computer screen & she types something & he points again at the screen & she types something again. Now she tells me my total, I ask her how do I tip both nail techs & she says whatever I tip, they split. I added an additional $20 to my bill, tap my card & that was it. Or so I thought. A few days later, I checked my account & I noticed an additional charge for $30. I call & inquire about the additional $30 charge (that I did not approve) and Duke (if that's his real name) said "Oh, we tried calling you to tell you we did not charge you enough for the designs you received but you did not answer & because I had to close out all of the transactions for the day, I went ahead & charged you the additional $30." I was SHOOK!!! A business charged MY card without MY PERMISSION for THEIR mistake?!?! Then he instantly got an attitude with me for telling him that his mistake was NOT my fault & he did not receive my permission to charge my card again. He proceeded to rudely tell me "I can refund the $30 charge to your card, but you're still going to pay the $30 for the designs on your nails." I had to tell him, you asked to look at my nails, I showed them to you & if you didn't charge me the correct amount while I was there, THAT IS NOT MY FAULT!!! Again, no business should penalize their customers for the mistake THEY made. He said he would issue me a refund (I have yet to see it) and I thanked him for saying that, then asked his name. He said he isthe manager & his name is Duke. Well Duke, I was hoping to make Drip Nail Salon my new spot, but thanks to you, your lack of professionalism & cocky attitude, I will not patronize this establishment again. Honestly super impressed with Drip nails! If you're going to a normal salon, you're paying at least ~$50 for a simple gel manicure. At Drip, the quality of service is much better for around the same cost! I'm a big fan of builder gels, because they help protect my natural nails but it's been so hard to find a salon that does them well until now. Drip also specializes in Gel X extensions, which are a much healthier alternative to acrylics. I made an appointment for 2:30 and ended up waiting ~25 minutes past that, but otherwise had a great experience here! read more

I've been to this salon a few times already and have been loving my experience so far. The vibe is very serene. The aesthetics are modern and refreshing. The front desk staff are always welcoming and professional. They offered acqua panna water! Lol made this place feel expensive but the prices are actually reasonable. I've gotten three different treatments on my fingernails (gel x, gel overlay, and just gel polish). I think I personally prefer the gel overlay because it makes my nails feel stronger while retaining the natural look, but if I'm feeling boujee I might go with gel X. I've also gotten two pedicures. Your experience will vary on who you get like most places, but I feel like most of the manicurists and pedicurists here are very skilled. I do recommend Mia for manicures: she's very detail oriented and does a great job cleaning my cuticles. She is also great with designs. I also recommend Ms. Kim for pedicures. She got my toes really cleaned up and also does a great massage. My boyfriend came with me and he also really enjoyed his pedicure. Can't wait to come back for my next visit. read more

I had one of the worse experiences at a nail salon here. I needed to remove gel polish from another place and just do regular single-color acrylic polish. Nothing fancy. Not only did the manicurist not pre-soak my nails before filing them, she over-scraped them until they hurt. Then she kept filing my nails crooked so I had to take over and shape them myself. Even then she didn't even get all of the old polish off before she started painting the new one on. The color I chose and the color she came out with were literally different colors but she tried to play it off as if they were the same. The hand massage that came with the package was a joke, and she didn't even cure my nails. I had a work meeting right after but she told me to sit around for 45 min until they dried. She attempted to "dry" them with a small bedazzled fan which she wasn't even directing at my nails half the time. Safe to say I immediately ruined them as I was digging around for my wallet to pay. The whole time she had her phone out checking for her next appointment, which she had none btw. I would never come here again. The interior looked nice but the skills are truly lacking. read more

I requested identical polish for toes and hands. The service providers led me to believe the colors were the same and they aren't. Furthermore, the gel polish on my nails looks horrific. I was taken aback by the lack of customer service. As I was checking out the receptionist was implying that the only issue was the color. The issues are the colors do not match as requested and the service provider failed to apply whatever product properly. Then he was attempting to overcharge me for services that weren't rendered. IE I received a basic pedicure and who insisted it was gel. To the point that I said, "go ask the service provider" since my word wasn't trustworthy to him. Overall, $116 thrown down the drain and 2 hours of my time wasted. No apology. No discount. I was offered to come back on Tuesday or Wednesday. However, walking around like this is not an option. If the owner reads this the only fair to do is return the funds in full to my credit card. read more

They didn't have the colors I wanted on my hands and toes. These were 2 separate colors and each technician didn't check until right before painting so I had to make rushed and pressured decisions. I'd normally just live with it until my next manicure and pedicure but this visit was for upcoming wedding events so I'm pretty disappointed. The overall aesthetics are nice and the services are pretty comparable to any other salon. I've visited here a few times and the last visit was underwhelming too when the nail tech said she'd be back to finish my manicure with cuticle oil and lotion but she never returned. read more

Not sure if she felt like she was being rushed or something, but she did not go over my cuticles with acetone and she was not able to finish the French manicure I wanted because she was running late with her next client.
