Unfortunately, two weeks after my refill, I've noticed a green spot under the acrylic. The refill experience was not as good as the initial set that was done. (The electric grinder thing kept skipping and hitting my finger which was blamed on me). After the first day, looking at the cuticles, it did not seem like the nails were completely sealed off. If that makes sense. Like there was acrylic overhang onto the skin and the underside of my nails did not get ground down like I'm used to. read more

I've been a loyal client for years. This nail salon has been through a few owners and I've stuck around. However, I went in yesterday for a full set and a pedicure. Pedicure was great. My nails however aren't even close to how they normally come out. The owner did my nails this last time, so I thought they were going to be top notch. Boy was I wrong. I came out paying $148 dollars total. 65 for my nails and the rest was for my pedicure. She charged me 5$ for the almond shape. My nails came out more of an oval shape and they're all wonky looking. I was not happy and I'm sure my face said it all. The audacity of her to even ask me if everything came out ok. You're the owner, you should know the quality of work you just did was not acceptable. Genuinely the worst pedicure I've ever received. I ordered the deluxe pedicure with gel. This place is called pure lux nail salon and there's nothing lux about it. The woman doing my pedicure didn't even touch my heels during the scrubbing portion and only did it for like one minute each foot. The hot stone massage wasn't hot, it was genuinely just cold stones being rubbed on my leg lmao. Anyways please don't waste your money at this trash facility!!!! read more

Visited with my sister. I was in need of a Mani-Pedi. We were promptly taken to a chair. Two ladies worked at the same time, which was nice. Definitely made the process shorter. Complimentary beverages are provided, from sodas to wine, and mimosa's. This was really nice on a Sunday afternoon. Mindy made sure our services were going well. The salon is soothing and clean. The price point isn't bad either. I liked that it wasn't overcrowded. I was able to relax. There's a wall of polishes to choose from, and also several retail items. I opted for a deluxe mani-pedi and also purchased some cuticle oil. Saved me an extra stop. Great experience. read more

At first I loved this salon!! However, I haven't had the best service the past couple of times I've been. The most recent time, I was asking for a removal of builder gel and a simple paint with regular polish. The color I picked was thick and stringy and I wasn't able to change it. After painting my nails, they said they don't know how to do the shape I like and sent me out with every nail a different shape and not even. 30 minutes after I left, my nails peeled up and had fingernail marks because there was so much air under the paint and it was so thick. It's a bummer because I loved this place but unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

I am very impressed with this establishment! It's so hard to find good service with good work in the "nail spa" market. A local business that is so welcoming, why not give it a shot?! If i could give this place a 0 I would. Annie was the rudest most obnoxious person there. Telling me what to do and was angry that I didn't get the most expensive pedicure that she knicked my toe and made me bleed. I hope I don't get an infection but I woke up in pain. I will never be going back again and it's thanks to the atmosphere here where they rush rush rush to get things done and that anxiety isn't calming or zen whatsoever. I recommend you go elsewhere to get treated well or you might be the next one getting sliced. Thanks Annie, for being the rudest person I've ever met at a salon. read more

I've been here a few times now and overall I've been pretty pleased with their service. I used to be a regular in a different salon, however, since moving I needed to find a new place a little bit closer to home. Their prices are average for Houston, not the most expensive for sure, but there are definitely places that are less expensive. Atmosphere is nice, feels clean, and staff are friendly. I almost always get dip on my fingers and a regular pedicure, and I felt like they've provided good attention to detail with both of these services. My last visit I got one of the more expensive pedicures and I felt like I was definitely getting pampered. This time I got one of the more standard options and it was still good. Today I feel like maybe my dip was a little on the thin side (not sure if she did fewer coats or just filed down thinner) bc the areas near my cuticle were paler in color, however, I definitely prefer this to the alternative of thick and chunky dip on my fingers. Will keep coming back bc I feel like they do a solid job. read more

I came here and got a pedicure. It was bad enough the lady I got had a bad attitude because I did not want to get the deluxe pedicure. Then I am met with this the following morning. I would not have posted this if it was just a simple allergic reaction, however after being to the doctor twice I have confirmed that this is due to a bacterial infection. I don't know if something wasn't clean or what but all I know is that I am now on medication for the next two weeks and this is a very painful un pleasant situation. Please save your money and well being and go elsewhere. read more

No wonder they have lower prices than the competing salons, it comes with inexperienced technicians like the one I had! My technician was adamant about going after my cuticles and going so hard that they were bleeding and had cuts...and she continued to file and clip my nails and hurt me the entire time during my session. Usually my reactions are a dead giveaway and I did speak up a few times. But she still continued to disregard this and went on with the session. read more

DONT COME HERE! I've been coming to this nail salon regularly for about 3 years now. The management has changed many times, but this most recent management has made me leave. I came for my routine full set & they told me it would be $90 for a basic set. No designs, no shape, medium-long length but a basic natural set. When I asked for an explanation of pricing they changed the pricing to $75. I asked what the additional $25 was for since I wasn't getting any design or shape & they couldn't explain and began making up additional costs. They then dropped the price again to $65. They said they now charge for a soak off in the service even if you're getting a new set, when last month I was told soak off was free with new set. Last month I had a nail lift 3 days after application. I came in for a repair and they glued my previous nail back down, causing a greenie on my finger. They have no consistency in pricing and are just looking for more money and ways to scam. read more

I used to love this place but it's gone down SO MUCH since they changed. Not sure if it was management or what but it's not what it used to be. I went tonight for a 6:00 pedicure and left at 6:25. I sat with no water in the basin, no service, not even a hello. They were busy, yes, but don't accept an appointment if you can't honor it. Very disappointing. read more

It was my first and last time coming here. I live down the street from this place and just needed my nails fixed ASAP so I gave it a try after I got recommendations from a couple people. Giving 2 stars because I like the way the nails came out, maybe one imperfection but nothing I can't overlook. What I can't overlook is the customer service I received from the nail tech. The man who greets you is very nice and the woman who did my eyebrows was also very nice and sweet. I went to get my coffin nails removed I got somewhere else and asked for almond shaped nails. Ivy, the woman who did my nails didn't even greet me she just grabbed my hand and asked rudely "what is this on your nails? Is it acrylic?" She had me dip my nails in acetone for a while and left me alone to be on her phone for several minutes. When she came back she rudely said "lord!" And was upset because my nails were still intact and kept smacking her teeth. The whole experience was awful. She looked like she didn't want to do my nails. She was very mean to me. I am the type of person who likes to make conversation with the mail tech's and she would give me nothing but rudeness. That's fine if you're not the talking type but at least be nice. But she was laughing it up with the man who greets you at the front and making huge conversation with him. I would ask questions about their services and she would just answer me shortly and rude and then continue to talk to the man. She didn't even offer a place to clean my hands with. She just sprayed my hands with water and cleaned them with the dirty towel, at least it looked dirty. Although she gave me DECENT looking nails, I'm not wowed by them either, it really is a shame how rude she is. For anyone who reads this, just go to Milano Nail Spa. It's pricier but worth it. They treat you like the princess you are and give you exactly what you want and even offer drinks and a place to wash your hands. read more

I've been coming here for years. Considering they have gone under new management, I still kept coming. The quality of nails is horrible. I literally spent almost two hours to get a pedicure and dip nails this past Saturday to have my nails lift as if I had press ons. I went in today to explain I would just like a refund as two other nails were lifting. I was told they don't do refund and could only repair. Just disappointing as this use to be a great place but it just not worth it frustration and poor quality. I don't even see all the repeat customers anymore. Also, you get 10% off price for a google review. Don't be fooled. read more

We made appointments and had to wait over 30 minutes for our pedicures to start and my friend's nails were not started for an hour after the appointment. My pedicure was then cut short so the tech could go to another client. I paid for the most expensive pedicure. I received no leg massage or half of what was included in the price of the service. Then I had to wait for my friend to have her full services finished for over 30 minutes. We were told we should have reminded them that we wanted all our services at the same time and this was our fault. Will not be returning. read more

I've been coming here for a couple of years now and it's only gotten better! It's clean, they have a great selection, and they've added more staff to get you in and out quick! I went today and got almond shape for the first time- Hong did a amazing work- they're beautiful! And they just got in a brand new set of dip powder colors with matching polish for toes. Part of me wants to be selfish and not add a good review so I can keep it to myself but I know how frustrating it is to find a decent nail salon that consistently does an excellent job! Thanks y'all! Unfortunately, my experience today, August 9, 2026, with the front desk associate, whom I believe is named Kim, was extremely disappointing. During today's visit, I inquired about the five-day touch-up policy. I was told that I could not receive a touch-up and that doing so would be considered an "abuse" of the policy. I found both the statement and the manner in which it was delivered inappropriate and unnecessarily accusatory. If a five-day touch-up is an established company policy, a customer attempting to utilize that policy should not be characterized as abusing it. If there are limitations or additional conditions associated with the policy, those should be communicated clearly and respectfully. Having worked in customer service for more than 15 years, I understand that policies sometimes require explanation or clarification. However, how that information is communicated matters tremendously. Customers should feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable asking questions not as though they are doing something wrong for inquiring about a service or policy available to them. I want to emphasize that this feedback is not a reflection of the entire location. Yemi and Abigail have both provided exceptional service, and their professionalism is a large part of why I have continued returning. However, today's interaction was disappointing enough that I am now considering taking my business elsewhere. I am sharing this feedback because I believe management should be aware of the experience being created at the front desk. For a business centered around personal care and repeat clientele, professionalism, courtesy, and respectful communication should be consistent from the moment a client walks through the door.

My eyebrows look great and I had no reaction to the wax. Carolina gave me some hydrocortisone cream and my redness was gone by the time I arrived home. I've been burned before at a different shop, so this aspect of the experience made all the difference. The second time I was here I agreed to waxing my underarms for something like $22. She didn't hold my skin tight enough and it hurt more than it needed to. My skin was extra raw and still not smooth, no oil afterwards. I carry a roll on coconut oil so that helped me out. While I'm accustomed to waxing--creams, powder, strips, sugar, etc.--no aftercare counseling provided. They is a poster on the room's wall I was in that covers a few key points, but it is not enough information. The location is convenient. Note: I asked for sugar, but I'm still not 100% sure if it's 100% that. Whatever they used seems like a quality product though. They Note: If you have curly hair, no preventative care. Be careful treating ingrown hairs if you DIY.

I took my all girlfriends to do nails to celebrate International women's day a week ago. There were nine of us. The owners and the whole stuff took such a great care of us! It was a challenge to sit and serve all of us at the same time but they did a great job accompanying all the process with champagne! The salon is brand new, interior design is so thoughtful- it was a pleasure just to be here, not your regular nail place- EXTREMELY clean and has no smell of the nail polish and such.. great place in the Heights! The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, we did not feel rushed at all. And I need to tell you that we are very high maintenance group of people. Highly recommend the PureLux nail spa. Thank you! Absolutely love this nail salon . They do amazing job, including dipping powder last for 3 weeks . This salon very clean and stylist . And they also serve complimentary wine , while your nails being done . I went to Mindy for my dipping powder, and almost 2 weeks later, they look brand new. worst manicure ever. trish cut my nails way too short. They're of varying lengths too. Awful. No cuticle gel used, didn't clean underneath my nails. Not what I paid for. If you're looking for a nail salon in the area go across the street to Polished Nails next to crawfish cafe. I love children but not when there's six of them under 6yo running all over the salon.and screaming . It felt like I was at the McDonalds Playland - not a spa-like experience at all. Each station has a massager chair for extra relaxation and guests are offered a cold soda or water at the beginning of their appointment. Over the past year that I have been coming, I can tell that there are a lot of regular customers which is great to see. You shouldn't anticipate trouble getting a walk in appointment, however it's a nice courtesy to call before driving over to ensure that they have someone who can see to you. Now, the reason for me rating so highly is because I truly feel I picked the wrong shade of red. I received a matte red pedicure instead of a pearlescent gloss red that I hoped for. Could have been my fault for not double checking. In conclusion, I will be keeping the color since I paid 37 dollars for it and keeping high hopes that it will not chip on me so soon.

Firstly, they are by appointment which I like because that means they won't rush and I don't have to worry about people swarming all around me in a frenzy. I came with another adult female and a kid plus myself. They just did an amazing job on filing, shaping, polish ... and my niece (the kid) actually wants to come back! Kim, Jenny and Lan helped us and each and everyone of them were very nice and friendly and just had amazing customer service. I didn't get cut, they listened to what we asked for and they do designs!! I'll definitely be back and will recommend to others! Thanks envision for the great service!!
