Brought the vehicle back and diagnosed that the pan was just dirty from regular oil shop. Picked the car up, still leaking oil so brought it back again. This time the ring was leaking and covered under the warranty. Brought it home and AGAIN, still leaking oil. Took it back for inspection, only this time the valve cover was magically leaking oil and not covered under warranty. Repairs cost another $395 with the majority being labor. Prior to the original repair the vehicle didn't leak oil. Very disappointed with the repair, numerous returns, excuses, cost, and warranty. Don't feel this place is honest and do not recommend others to this shop.

Pfaff ripped us off. They claimed my van needed brakes and rotors I told them not to change the…read morerotors, and when I checked out the rotors, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. This then made me wonder if the brakes were as bad as they claimed. They showed my wife brake pads that were metal on metal, which would have at the very least been squealing or grinding, and neither was happening. Furthermore, as bad as the pads were, they showed my wife the rotors would have shown damage, and there was none. My wife went in there to get one tire replaced that was supposed to be $130 by the time she got out of there the bill was $600 they are ripping people off. I met another young lady who told me what Pfaff's told her what was wrong with her van before they could do an alignment. She said they told her the wheel bearings were bad, the tie rod ends were bad, the struts, were bad, the rotors and brakes were bad. I jacked up her van the Wheel bearings were tight as could be, the tie rods were tight as could be, the struts showed no leaks and I asked her if her van floats she said no. Her brake pads were still 90% and there was no wear on her rotors.

We took our vehicle here on the recommendation of a friend. Initially looked like it was gonna be a decent shop, but that changed rather quickly. This shop that does mediocre work. I say that because they supposedly fix cars for a living, but the customer has to point out damage that they said was fixed but wasn't. They called and said your car is done. Get there to pick it up and damage that we showed them when we dropped it off wasn't even addressed. So we leave it there to be fixed. During the time the shop had the vehicle in their possession it was damaged on the opposite side. I know this for a fact, because we have photos from when we bought the vehicle and their photos from when it was dropped off to be repaired. During its time at John's (ANTI) Auto Body Shop. Someone damaged my vehicle. We pointed this out to them and were basically brushed off and told we didn't do it. As not to go into a lengthy post. They said not our problem and have a nice day. The owner flat out said they weren't doing anything about it and to turn it in on a new claim. We tried to explain that the damage was not there when we bought the car or when we dropped it off. It's a deep scratch on the right side about 5 inches in length. I am generally willing to be understanding and try to work with people, but I take exception to someone calling me out and saying that I'm lying about something I know for a fact wasn't there. I was forced to make this group and post to help others avoid mistakes and getting treated like this. Take your car here at your own risk. Their work is shoddy and mediocre at best, especially when you have to point out what they should have seen when they first worked on it. In closing. If the owner is so sure his guys didn't damage my vehicle, then why did it take me pointing out work they missed in the first place? Obviously not too sharp or attentive to details and talking out both sides of his mouth. A pic of the damage and the others for reference when it was dropped off. It was listed as a great deal on CG and from the pictures it looked really nice. Pontiac is about a two hour trip one way from where we live but I contacted Ryan and from the get go we received unbelievable customer service. We drove down there on a Saturday and took it for a test drive and the car was impeccable. It was clean, Ryan provided the Carfax equivalent and gave us the background on the vehicle. We spent about 15 mins negotiating and agreed on a price out the door. We were there for a total of 35 mins that Saturday. We would have to come back the following weekend as we needed a week to get the finances in order. The following weekend we drove and did all the paperwork with Cathy and she gave us the run down on the vehicle and showed us how things worked. All in all, only another 35 mins. So 8 hours of round trip driving to the dealership and only 1 hour 10 mins at the dealership. Unbelievable!! It's usually the other way around. Fraher is a 3rd generation family owned dealership that provided us with the easiest car buying experience I have ever had in my 40 yrs of buying cars. I think I'll start with some of my favorite quotes…read more Sales rep right after signing for the vehicle: "Hey was it driving funny for you the other day?" Vehicle proceeds to not make it down the road. Serious transmission issues. Other ford dealership I had to take it to for CEL after a week and a half of light use: "It should have never been sold like this. There is bare wiring underneath the hood. Anybody who popped the hood for an oil change would have seen this" First vehicle purchase. 2012 F150 112k miles. Was initially told it was in great shape just needed new breaks. Also the gas cap wouldn't shut and flies open with almost any turn. "Just needs a screw" I was told. I was urged on my test drive "most people just go to the silo and back" which was roughly about 2 turns and 4 miles roundtrip. I've never test driven a vehicle so I didn't know what to think of that, but later I realized this might potentially be my first red flag. Truck drove alright on its short test drive. Come in to sign, truck was pulled up front looking shiny and new. Loved it. Gas cap still wasn't fixed, said they'd pull it around to get fixed while I was signing. Come out after signing. Total with loan and warranty was around 20k I believe. First thing out of salesman's mouth was "hey we couldn't fix the gas cap, I could mail you some Velcro" wtf Next thing is, "Hey by the way was it driving funny for you the other day?" No.... It wasn't. The truck literally was making horrible noises and couldn't get above 40 mph off the lot. You're telling me from the time you drove it from the front of the store to the service center for a gas cap, that it's just now in that short time having these issues? So nobody noticed it when it came from detailing to the front before I signed? I find it incredibly hard to believe. Returned the truck to the dealership for servicing. Huge transmission repair. So about a week later I get to drive the truck again. Lasts for a week and a half before a CEL comes on. Bring it to another ford dealership closer to me. That's when they explain to me the truck should never have been sold like this. There were bare wires underneath the hood and some half assed soldering job. It looked like if I had decided to try and solder it myself. I attached photos of bare / unused wires. Chat GPT says: "Wow. Those photos clearly show a cut and manually spliced harness that looks like it was either hacked apart for diagnostics or used as a donor / bypass at some point -- and it was never put back properly. That is not normal, especially for a truck that was just sold by a dealership. Here's why this is a big deal: Why This Wiring Is a Serious Issue * That bundle goes into a major PCM (Powertrain Control Module) harness on the 2012 F-150. The green wires with labels suggest someone was trying to trace transmission or sensor circuits manually. * Exposed wires = short circuit risk, erratic sensor data, or total loss of function (e.g., transmission shift control, throttle signals, etc.). * It's a potential safety hazard, not just sloppy work. * Selling a vehicle like this without disclosure is, in many states, a violation of dealer disclosure laws Heller says they will "Take a look next week" but I've been urged by many car people around me not to take their BS.
