Love the concept of this venue; the place is huge, there are three floors with a different feel for each floor, plenty of seating areas, bars and entertainment such as ping pong, connect four and televisions. I could tell the venue is new, there are plenty of things that need fine tuning, such as wait time for food, the wait staff knowledge, the computer programming for the golf games, our game kept freezing and some of the balls didn't pick up once hit. The Bay areas where you play are very nice and cozy and private! The Dj was a hit and jamming. The staff was very nice and polite. I would definitely return but I'll give them some time to work out all the kinks. Ohhh they offer valet parking and you get a text msg whenever your bay is available. First time here and I had a blast for my father in laws birthday! The only thing that was annoying was the long wait time! Thank god we were able to put our names down and go somewhere else to wait. The first floor had the shortest wait time compared to the third floor. Hopefully next time we get to experience playing on the third floor. We ended up ordering food! It's nice to know they have vegan/vegetarian options! The Mediterranean platter was average. Nothing special for $9. The best one were the pretzel sticks! When you check in, you get free order! My experience was not the best here. First off I want to start off by saying I'm an amateur golfer and I have been to Topgolf in Miami a few times before and this was my first experience trying Drive Shack. I was very excited because it's a lot closer to me than Top Golf is and I enjoy this type of game. I came on a Saturday early part of the day, I got a bay on the 2nd floor. When we came both the bays next to us were empty, and the waiter came and we placed an order for nachos when the other bays were completely empty. We waited an extremely long time for our nachos, in the meantime another party came to the bay next to us. I noticed that when they came the waiter brought them out nachos which I'm pretty sure were ours because they came after us and already received their nachos. When the waiter came again I told him we are still waiting on the nachos and I would also like to place an order for my daughters kids meal. I did that and still waiting for food while we play. My daughters kids meal then came and still no nachos! I asked again where are the nachos and they said they'll check. In the hour that we decided to play golf for, our nachos probably came way more than halfway past the game. It was frustrating but the part that was also very frustrating was that the computer tracking our golf shots was so glitchy! It would not record any of my shots as hits and it kept saying it was my turn constantly. It never recorded my good hits and it was so frustrating and tiring to have to keep trying to play to record my turn. I ended up having to give it to my husband a more experienced golfer to play "my turn" which would then record the turn. It's possible it's because I'm an amateur the system was not recording my shots but I never had this issue at Topgolf. So if you are a more amateur I definitely wouldn't suggest this place read more

Used to be 4.5 stars to me, but after today I will not return. First, they have changed the games. Our family favorites were Blackjack and Darts. They are gone. In their place were horrible games and definitely not friendly to different skill levels. The couple of "family-friendly" games made no sense to us. The picture on the monitor did not align with where in the world we were supposed to hit the ball in reality. Our server could not clarify our questions we asked about it, because she was unfamiliar with the games as well. We were just whacking at the balls randomly having no idea what they would hit in game until we looked at the monitor to see. Just on the games alone, we will not return as the games were not fun at all. Second, the food was variable. We did not like the pizza which they took great liberties with the poor quality Parmesan cheese sprinkled all over it. The pretzels were good as was the brownie ice cream dessert. Lastly, it was the hottest we ever felt there . It is July. There was something blowing air to gently to do anything. If you go just for the golf, then you're fine. Other than the lack of game diversity, golf is golf. My main issues come with the service, food and facilities. Facilities: our game froze and stopped reading our balls being hit. I alerted our waitress who called facilities. The facilities guy seemed very unhappy to be there. After he said he fixed it and walks away, it still wasn't working. So I called him Over again. And once again, he made it seem as if I'm bothering him by asking him to fix the game... whatever. Food service: why does each bay have a fancy screen that can control the tv, play games, BUT YOU CAN'T CALL FOR ASSISTANCE or order drinks and food on it? It always seemed like our waitress was never around when we actually needed her. And I understand that they all cover many bays, but it should be that difficult to come across napkins or water refills. The food in general is good but there's really nothing special about it. It's pub food, but outside. Overall, I'll come back for the golf but could care less about the food and drink experience as a whole. read more

If you enjoy golf, then you'll certainly enjoy the driveshack. It is a tremendous amount of fun. There's plenty of parking, a place to get something to eat, a place rent, adult beverage, and of course your own bay with your family and friends to practice your golf swing. It's all electronic and there are over a dozen different games you can play. Some are rather interesting. You're allowed to book your bay for two hours or depending on the crowds, they may allow you to go in extra hour for a total of three hours. While most would think it similar to a bowling alley to just walk in and play or wait to play this location has staff that are not always available behind their stands and when they are there's never anything positive to say to the customers about trying to get them involved to play. We were told there's a waitlist of 10 ppl when there are over 10 stalls available for use. Overall this please cannot accommodate walk-ins you have to really plan here. First time to this brand. The range is nice, so is the facility. Plenty of well lit parking. The price varies by the time of day that you attend. We went late because they were booked out. 10pm was their earliest, so if you want earlier... make sure you book a couple of days in advance. There is an indoor bar. Each bay has outdoor furniture that seats 5-6 people. You can order food and drinks with a server that comes around. Our server seemed like she was ready to go home. She disappeared for long periods of time, and would forget what we ordered. We could see our drinks sitting at the bar for a while after the bartender made them, and then she would finally get them. We started out with Nachos, and after trying them we decided we wouldn't order more food. Let's just say with six people the nachos were not finished. We all did not like them at all. I have to say it does feel a little unsafe as people are swinging their clubs with one hand. Or hitting balls into the side metal frame. We all commented and wondered how many people have been injured by someone messing around next to each bay. I would go again. The range was nice. I would STRONGLY suggest reservations. This place gets crowded on weekends and if you walk in you go on a list. Be prepared to wait 2-3 hours depending upon the crowd. Walk in and securing a time does not, evidently mean making a reservation. ( Waited 21/2 hours) came back at a what we thought was reserved time to be told it would be another 1 1/2 hours??? It was interesting that all walk-ins were told 2 2 1/2 hr wait but there were plenty of open bays (?). The serving staff was very helpful and the staff at the desk really tried I believe. read more

Came here for my dads birthday, but unfortunately the clubs were in really bad shape (broken and dented). We walked around to see if there were other bays that had better clubs but they were even worse! It blows my mind that a golfing place had such severely damaged clubs. You pay $50-60 an hour, $100+ for 2 hours to play golf...with clubs that don't even work properly?? It's unreasonable to expect visitors booking bays to come back or be satisfied with the quality of clubs you are providing. Other than that the food was good and so was the service. Unfortunately we can't recommend and won't return until the club situation is handled. read more

The facility itself looks great with plenty of nice amenities. My problem with it is I came to hit golf balls and the first 2 levels were closed and the only level open was the third floor where they were blasting loud awful music. I came to hit golf balls not to go to a Miami pool party. If they want to do that with the third level fine but then offer regular golfers the first floor with a quiet option. Most of the people on third floor were there to party it seemed and semi-serious golf was not the idea. Again that's fine if that's what they are trying to achieve but then also open the first floor for quiet play. Also the third floor felt unsafe especially if a person was drinking. The safety netting doesn't extend out that far and I don't like heights so I never got comfortable hitting the ball as I was imagining myself or my club tumbling off the third floor ledge. On a positive note the staff was very friendly and the facility looks clean and the drinks were good and the technology was impressive. read more

The Drive Shack is an awesome spot right next to the Palm Beach International Airport and has quickly become an alternate spot to Top Golf which is a one hour drive for Palm Beach residents. We were initially introduced to this place by Melodie via the Elite event. Since that event we were looking for a chance to return which we did last week. A couple of our friends joined us on a Tuesday night which was surprisingly busy as Tuesdays they have a special offer for all customers. We had a 45 minute wait so we decided to grab a few appetizers in the bar area. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower along with a hummus platter. Our bay was ready in 45 minutes which they informed us via text. They have different pricing depending on what time your playing morning, midday, and evening. They will ask which floor you prefer (3 levels), we picked level 2, they assign you a bay and off you go. The place is clean and seating is comfortable, the waitress comes over and explains where everything is, clubs are provided (but you can bring your own). I came here for a birthday and it was my first time here. Upon arriving at 12, we were told it would $25/ hr and that is was an hr wait. Luckily we were able to go up to the bar and order some drinks / food while we waited. I highly recommended trying out the mimosa flight, I loved the different option for mimosas. The servers were nice and attentive. After an hour, we were texted that our two bays were ready. The process to start the game/add players was easy and we quickly started playing. They combine classic games intothough like blackjack,monsters, darts. We all wished they had more options but it was still pretty cool. Our server was ok, he wasn't around much to request waters especially towards the end of our games. I had to pick up all of our plates and glasses of the table since he never did once he brought us more drinks. I either gave it to servers passing by or standing there talking to each other or put them In a dirty plate bin that was nearby. They ended up charging us $35 instead of the $25 that the host Downstairs said it was. She could have made it clear that after we were done waiting it would be a different price after 1Pm. Celebrated my friends birthday here on a Tuesday night. They do not currently accept reservations for bays so there was about a 30 minute wait when we arrived. The price of the bay is $45 which is reasonable. They utilize a text message system to announce when your bay is ready which is super convenient & we were able to seat ourselves at a table on the 2nd floor while we waited. It did not take long for a waitress to approach & we ordered a few cocktails while we browsed the menu. I had the Passion Punch which was tasty but very light on the alcohol. It tasted like a well mixed fruit drink, still very refreshing but not up to my expectations. Overall the menu prices were very reasonable. I don't recall seeing any item over $16 (food & drinks included) on the menu. Which is awesome in comparison to the prices at Top Golf. My yelp check in scored me a free order of Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, which was sweet. I also ordered the Stacked Nachos with Chicken added. The pretzel sticks came out very quickly. They were hot, fresh, & scrumptious. Not overly salted & the two dipping sauces (honey mustard & house cheese sauce) were nice compliments to the snack. However, it took a lot longer for the rest of our meal to arrive. So much so that our bay was ready before the rest of our food came & we could not locate our waitress to inform her that we needed to close our tab and have our food brought to the bay. In order to not lose our bay, we had a friend leave and go wait until our tabs were closed & the food arrived. When our waitress returned she closed our tabs quickly & simultaneously our food arrived & the kind waiters brought it to the bay for us. Everything looked great, unfortunately all of our food was cold. I'm assuming that they waited until everyone's food was ready to bring it all out together but that wasn't the best option. Fortunately our bay was right across from the outside bar & it did not take long to flag down another waiter & express our concerns, they took all of the food back & re-prepared it without any issue which was awesome & a showcase of great customer service. The nachos were ok, a little dry & lacking in the amount of chicken add it to the dish. We would have really liked if someone would have helped us set up the bay because we had quite a few difficulties in the beginning before we could successfully play the game. Our waiter/waitress for the bay also did not introduce him/herself so for the remainder of the evening any further cocktails we wanted to order we had to order ourselves at the bar across from where we were seated, which is an inconvenience for the money that you are paying. On a Thursday night it was $45 an hour for up to 6 people. It is cheaper earlier in the day. We started with 45 and kept adding. Since we were new we enlisted Tami's (our server's) help. She was so personable and friendly I felt like we were friends when we left. You can order food and drinks. A bucket of 6 beers was $26... not bad for an entertainment venue. Tami first explained the rules to us. Then she had us take practice swings. The screen did not accurately depict where we hit the ball. We played the Monster game and after one round Tami moved us to another bay because the calibration was off. It was frustrating when you'd hit a monster but the screen showed differently. However, Tami helped us out which we appreciated. We then played the blackjack game. It was so much fun. I highly recommend this even if you aren't a golfer.
