Hidden inside the PACAF HQ building so not many people can get to it, but by far the best location with the best service.

They have a great mission: They team up with the Hawaiian Humane Society to showcase cats and kittens that are available for adoption, and if you are vetted and selected, you can take your chosen cat(s) home for their new life with you! Even if you're not in the market for a new companion, you can go to the Café, get a coffee or Italian soda, eat a scone, and pet adorable cats. There's always a nice rotating mixture of frisky kittens and older cats, and some are napping while others are playing. There are toys in the room where the cats are so you can interact with them. I always recommend reservations but you can walk in and see if there are spots available. You get lots of time to interact with the cats and it's usually not packed so there's room to interact with multiple kitties. Please check it out--it's such a good cause!

The price is also very affordable compared to other cat cafes. Reservations are recommended. I really like that the visit time is an hour instead of 30 minutes like some other places that charge double the price, which is honestly kind of crazy. I came with my daughter and it was $31 total for an hour of playing with the cats, which I think is totally worth it. They also have a cafe, which adds a nice touch to the experience.

The melts were great they take 10 min to make and they let you know at the front which is nice. Both were great not large portions, we thought by the picture online we could share it but glad we ordered our own. The fountain drink $3.99 was pretty large so glad we only got one of those. And they have sprunch - fruit punch and sprite! What's great is they have a little play dress up kids toys corner in tutu place for kids to play, there's a few tables inside to sit down and tables outside. Inside was nice to get some good AC and cool down! Wanted to try the beef stew but worried it would be too heavy for lunch maybe next time!

They have a huge variety of food to choose from I was very surprised that the prices were great, and the food was a good variety seeing as it's the only thing out there for you to eat while you're there So if you get up early and you go to Pearl Harbor and you are stressed because you didn't eat enough food, don't worry you don't have to eat the hotdog at the hotdog stand. So there are two different models of cat/animal cafes:…read more One type is focused primarily on adoptions, rescue, rehabilitation, education, etc. Many partner with local nonprofit organizations and charities to help address the larger free roaming cat issue(s) on the island. There are many of these types of cat cafes on Oahu. There is also one on Maui. The other type is a for profit business that offers customers the opportunity to relax and interact with beautiful and sometimes exotic animals. This model is very popular in Japan and Cat Cafe MOFF, as a Japanese company, definitely falls into this category. Customers pay for a fixed amount of time with the cats (30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) The entry comes with a complimentary drink. You can purchase additional treats for the cats. The cats here are not adoptable. They are well cared for in a clean and comfortable environment. The staff is pleasant and attentive to the cats' care and needs. It would not be fair to criticize one for not being enough like the other. Personally, our family supports both. Our kids loved their time at Cat Cafe MOFF and can't wait to return. Located in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Ground level. Near the food court.
