I loved: - the easy parking - convenient location (I may have bought the birthday gifts right before at Pearlridge!) - how this is a non-profit that supports people with disabilities and sweet animals - snuggling with the adorable puppies outside available for adoption (I was so tempted!) My daughter loved: - feeding cats - playing with cats I was a little worried because she had a bad experience at a puppy cafe in Japan, but the kittens seemed well behaved. We got to enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches and and apple juice, and some outside food like pizza, because we were celebrating a birthday party. The space is thoughtfully separated into two rooms: one for little kittens and one for the adult cats, which I really appreciated. The cats are adoptable, which I thought was such a kind and humane touch. It's clear they genuinely care about finding these cats loving homes. Just a friendly heads-up: scratches can happen. Pretty sure the owner does their best to keep those tiny murder mittens trimmed, but cats will be cats. If you do leave with a few battle scars like I did, they've got you covered with bandaids and lint rollers too, because the cat hair is inevitable. I would like to start with I am a little biased because my husband got his cat here before we started dating and I love her, but I am also terribly allergic to cats so its a coin toss truly. The coffee is meh in all honesty, I got a matcha with strawberry and it was really milky with a hint of strawberry and its weird to me when drinks come with ice in them but they are warm. As a cat center this place is perfect, its small but cozy. There are two small rooms that you can go and interact and play with the kitties at. They also have lots of fun things for purchase for your cats at home, yummy treats and toys, they also have stuff for dogs! The place is both a cafe and cat interaction and adoption center. There are two rooms; one rooms has kittens and the other room has the older cats. The rooms were fairly clean. They give you 2 snack capsules with your admission, and you can feed and interact with the cats. There's a clean bathroom to wash your hands after. They also serve food and drinks here as well. I just wanted something to drink because it was like 90°F outside. Inside, the odd odor hit me. It was a cross between cleaning solution and pet fragrance. We were able to push through this slight obstacle because the cats were really cute! They are in two rooms that you can enter after payment of $15 for 50 minutes. We sat in the cafe and could observe the feline antics through acrylic walls! It was entertaining! I had a black pineapple iced tea with sweetener. It was great! Service was cheerful and efficient! The purrfect place... After a successful retail therap/post-lunch workout the food coma session a slight refuel was needed and Nadine C found a place nearby in fact it was just 4-5 doors down excellent! It was a unique cafe called Toe Beans and Dreams Adoption Cafe and it's located in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center all the way in the back. With that parking is a breeze with many free stalls to choose from or just walking from biz to biz is easy as it's really close in proximity and here as we arrived the shop owner's cutie was there at the front door to greet us that was just too cute. Looking at the various merchandise is just too adorable and knowing that everything purchased here will go to the rescues is amazing and so are the decor which is all feline related in books, napkin holders and even the art that's for sale. The have the cafe in the back that's filled with various treats as well the fun shapes of Rice Krispies and custom cookies which brings awareness along with QR codes if you're interested in fostering, adopting or to volunteer as well. Raspberry Zinger Iced Tea was the choice for me which was very nice and light as I ordered it unsweetened it really was and loved that it still had a nice subtle flavor of raspberry as they do have some seating there as well was a nice break along with viewing some of the cats that was so adorable and is nice to see a place for them to purrfectly enjoy themselves until they find a home of their own. My bf likes the Humane Society and I like cat cafes, so this was the ultimate compromise. Had lots of fun, they tell you the rules and let you walk into two different rooms with cats! One room is for older felines and the other for younger. They also provide toys and food to play with and feed the cats. All this and 50 uninterrupted minutes with the cats for a whopping $15/person beats Cafe Mofe in Pearlridge any day if you can handle the lingering stench (I went nose blind after 15 minutes). It also might be a little crowded depending on how many people booked the same time slot. Also, they have a nice, clean, and cutely decorated restroom located in the cafe. (9/2023): My first visit to a cat cafe. Too adorable! In addition to the cats, the have some cat-themed merchandise and baked goodies. For $15, you can go in and feed/play with the cats for fifty minutes, which is plenty of time. They have two rooms joined together by a cat highway for the cats to cross from one side to another. Even with the air purifiers, my allergies started acting up, so would recommend wearing a mask to help filter out some of the allergens and allergy medicine. The bathroom is located in between the two cat rooms. Including myself, I saw one gentleman wander towards the back looking for the restroom. Might help to have a sign posted to redirect people before they wander into the employee area. The cats were adorable and well-behaved. Each of them has a collar with a name, so if you do decide to adopt, you know who to look for. So many feral cats on the streets, so it's wonderful to have a place like Toe Beans and Dreams to help them find a home. read more

I absolutely love this place. My husband and i have been here a couple of times as dates because he knows i loveee cats and it is such a cute place. There is a kitty room and an adult room, i always try to go to the adult room because kittys are overrated abd recently i found my forever cat. I met Crusty ( he was found with his sibling Crumb and they both had mange). I asked the woman at the front desk about adoption and she informed me about an adoption event that was happening the next day which would make the adoption fee only $50! I came by the next day and was able to adopt my Crusty. They sent me home with a bunch of cst toys and treats and even medicine because Crusty had a kitten cold. read more

Fantastic place to relax with cats and kittens. Clean and comfortable with many friendly furry friends. Price is reasonable and staff are helpful and friendly. Don't neglect the older cats because the kittens are addicting and will suck up your 50 minutes quite quickly. There are in 2 separate rooms. We went at 2pm on a Sunday and a fair number were napping but most were happily roused with some treats that are provided. I went in for a bagel and left with two kitties! Lol! Bagel was delicious and the coffee was very good too. Paid $15 to play with kitties for 50 minutes, had a orange tabby flop in my lap and refuse to get up. Another little grey cat kept laying on the tabby and the tab didn't care so took them both honey after a couple of bucks to help support the mission and filling out some paperwork. Bought a visit to this cat cafe for my granddaughter as a birthday gift. She got 50 minutes for $15, all going towards supporting cat adoptions at this wonderful establishment. Best to reserve your time in advance by calling in or you may by placed at a later entry time as only so many are allowed in with the cats at a time. Love this place. Me and my daughter come here all of the time to just play with the cats. They have little rules and feels a lot less restrictive than other cat places. Love this place. I just adopted my first Orange cat ever, and he is the absolute coolest little naughty devil. They know their cats' personalities and love them all (except they didn't quite get the age of my guy right--I wanted a senior cat and he is very "young" acting). Wonderful people, wonderful rescue. My boyfriend and I last minute decided to book a reservation through their website for a 50 minute kitty play time. We booked for a same day play time and it was the best decision we made on our vacation. The cafe has 2 separate rooms where you and other people can play with cats and kittens. We stayed in 1 room because it was the smaller room and there were already 4 people in the bigger room. The rooms are well decorated with cat beds, scratchers, and toys. The cats are rescues and available for adoption. They were all so cute and playful. We fell in love with most of the cats in one room. Unfortunately, we were having trouble scanning the cats' collar tags to learn more about their rescue stories though. We didn't try any of the food or drinks as it was on the late afternoon and they mostly serve coffee and small bites. read more

Out of all the cat cafes I have gone to, this one was the best all around (imho). It has the perfect blend - location is great, service is very friendly, it's for a great cause, and the prices are reasonable. And you get cat treats with your visit which makes you irresistible to some of the felines! The ambiance is fantastic and fun as well, with cat related decorations all over the place (but done in an artsy, fanciful way). The only downsides I had with this location (and it was probably because I forgot to take my daily Allegra that day) is that I was sneezing a lot and my eyes were really watery as time went on. I am slightly allergic to cats but usually I'm fine. It would be great to have an air purifier in the rooms or something to collect the hair. And the rooms were slightly on the smaller side so it felt cramped because there were like 10 people between two small rooms. It would probably be better and more comfortable if it was reduced to 6-8 people. Or maybe I went at a busy hour (on a Sunday afternoon). read more

I just got an iced hazelnut coffee this time around. Karen, the owner, has a resident kitty that can be seen wandering around in the morning to greet everyone. He's very friendly and soft. At 10am they start the kitten playtime where you can go in and play with all the cats/kittens up for adoption. You can go into two different rooms and spend about 45 minutes playing with the cats. As someone who is neurodivergent and an animal lover, I was so excited to come across this cafe when looking up a place for coffee. It was an unexpected delight, the welcome was so warm and of course I enjoyed watching kittens and cats play. The matcha latte was great, not too sweet and paired well with almond milk. Better than many coffee shops that I regularly go to! A few things to note: I had asked if the alternative milks cost more and she said they're all the same. I was charged $7.32 for a 16 oz. and upon clarification she said the almond milk costs more. I figured I must have misheard and at this point it was more important to support the cafe's mission. But I then received my 16 oz drink in a 12 oz cup. When I asked if this was the right cup and mentioned that the cup states 12 oz, she said my cup is the 16 oz. and largest cup before showing me the smaller cup size (which looked to be 8 oz). Although the experience with the pricing and menu descriptions was pretty funky and left me confused, I think what they're doing is wonderful and hope others support them. An update to their menu clarifying pricing and sizing to be accurate is needed. read more
