    Kittens

My boys and I had SO much fun visiting Toe Beans! The kittens were clean, well cared for and extremely friendly. We were covered in kittens from the time we stepped into the room until the moment we left. The kittens enjoyed being held and snuggled, and curled onto our laps for a rest. The staff was incredibly welcoming and even let us sneak into the room a few minutes before our appointment time. I have zero complaints and can't wait to go back for another visit!

Toe Beans and Dreams is so freakin' cute. For $15, you get 50 minutes of pure serotonin surrounded by the cutest cats and kittens. The space is thoughtfully separated into two rooms: one for little kittens and one for the adult cats, which I really appreciated. You're free to wander back and forth between rooms, so it feels relaxed and never rushed. Your visit comes with a small treat for you and a variety of cat toys to choose from! The cats are adoptable, which I thought was such a kind and humane touch. It's clear they genuinely care about finding these cats loving homes. Just a friendly heads-up: scratches can happen. Pretty sure the owner does their best to keep those tiny murder mittens trimmed, but cats will be cats. If you do leave with a few battle scars like I did, they've got you covered with bandaids and lint rollers too, because the cat hair is inevitable. Overall, this place is cozy, thoughtful, and incredibly cute!! Such a lovely experience!! I'd absolutely come back again!!

I would like to start with I am a little biased because my husband got his cat here before we started dating and I love her, but I am also terribly allergic to cats so its a coin toss truly. The coffee is meh in all honesty, I got a matcha with strawberry and it was really milky with a hint of strawberry and its weird to me when drinks come with ice in them but they are warm. As a cat center this place is perfect, its small but cozy. There are two small rooms that you can go and interact and play with the kitties at. They also have lots of fun things for purchase for your cats at home, yummy treats and toys, they also have stuff for dogs! All the workers were also so sweet and I loved yapping with them about the cats. (Plus- they have allergy medicine inside for purchase if you are like me and need it)

Refreshing beverage in Pearl Kai Shopping Center, O'ahu, Hawai'i... I didn't know what Toe Beans were until Irene explained them to me. Obviously, I'm not a cat person.. LOL! Toe Beans are the pads on the bottom of cats' paws - because they're shaped like beans! Ahhh... Anyway, we were in the area and found this cat cafe. I just wanted something to drink because it was like 90°F outside. Inside, the odd odor hit me. It was a cross between cleaning solution and pet fragrance. We were able to push through this slight obstacle because the cats were really cute! They are in two rooms that you can enter after payment of $15 for 50 minutes. We sat in the cafe and could observe the feline antics through acrylic walls! It was entertaining! I had a black pineapple iced tea with sweetener. It was great! Service was cheerful and efficient! Merchandise was interesting! The variety ranged from t-shirts and plushies to pet supplies and greetingcards! Stop by for a worty cause!

The purrfect place... After a successful retail therap/post-lunch workout the food coma session a slight refuel was needed and Nadine C found a place nearby in fact it was just 4-5 doors down excellent! It was a unique cafe called Toe Beans and Dreams Adoption Cafe and it's located in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center all the way in the back. With that parking is a breeze with many free stalls to choose from or just walking from biz to biz is easy as it's really close in proximity and here as we arrived the shop owner's cutie was there at the front door to greet us that was just too cute. Looking at the various merchandise is just too adorable and knowing that everything purchased here will go to the rescues is amazing and so are the decor which is all feline related in books, napkin holders and even the art that's for sale. The have the cafe in the back that's filled with various treats as well the fun shapes of Rice Krispies and custom cookies which brings awareness along with QR codes if you're interested in fostering, adopting or to volunteer as well. Raspberry Zinger Iced Tea was the choice for me which was very nice and light as I ordered it unsweetened it really was and loved that it still had a nice subtle flavor of raspberry as they do have some seating there as well was a nice break along with viewing some of the cats that was so adorable and is nice to see a place for them to purrfectly enjoy themselves until they find a home of their own. Thank you!

People working there were nice and it was clean as can be with so many cats. Cats were friendly enough. I liked that they gave you snacks to feed the cats. They have a good selection of cat toys that were reasonably priced. So I bought one for my cats at home.

The staff are super friendly. There are two rooms, one with kittens and the other with older cats. They clean both rooms between appointments. The rooms have furniture that every cat dreams of. It's a no-kill shelter and all items purchased in the store go to keeping this shelter in business.

My bf likes the Humane Society and I like cat cafes, so this was the ultimate compromise. Had lots of fun, they tell you the rules and let you walk into two different rooms with cats! One room is for older felines and the other for younger. They also provide toys and food to play with and feed the cats. All this and 50 uninterrupted minutes with the cats for a whopping $15/person beats Cafe Mofe in Pearlridge any day if you can handle the lingering stench (I went nose blind after 15 minutes). It also might be a little crowded depending on how many people booked the same time slot. Also, they have a nice, clean, and cutely decorated restroom located in the cafe. The organization also provides food for humans too at an additional charge I'm clearly broke so I did not get anything). You can find more info and reserve a time on their straightforward website. Parking is at Pearl Kai which is abundant but every driver turns into an asshole who doesn't know what a brake pedal is. Overall, great experience! Insane value for the price, and I appreciate that they let folks spend time with the cats before adoption. Experience: 4/5 Price: 5/5 Parking: 4.5/5 Overall: 4.5/5

You just can't beat the price at this place. Plus all the cats are friendly. They look well taken care off and they give you free treats to give them! Will be coming back :)

Toe Beans and Dreams is a superb experience. All of the cats are so adorable and I can tell they are being treated with so much love. For $15, you get 50 minutes to spend time with them and it is honestly an excellent 50 minutes. Truly amazing place. Will return again!!

I absolutely love this place. My husband and i have been here a couple of times as dates because he knows i loveee cats and it is such a cute place. There is a kitty room and an adult room, i always try to go to the adult room because kittys are overrated abd recently i found my forever cat. I met Crusty ( he was found with his sibling Crumb and they both had mange). I asked the woman at the front desk about adoption and she informed me about an adoption event that was happening the next day which would make the adoption fee only $50! I came by the next day and was able to adopt my Crusty. They sent me home with a bunch of cst toys and treats and even medicine because Crusty had a kitten cold.

Fantastic place to relax with cats and kittens. Clean and comfortable with many friendly furry friends. Price is reasonable and staff are helpful and friendly. Don't neglect the older cats because the kittens are addicting and will suck up your 50 minutes quite quickly. There are in 2 separate rooms. We went at 2pm on a Sunday and a fair number were napping but most were happily roused with some treats that are provided. Thinking I might try a morning visit someday to see if more of them are awake.

    Teri Y.

I went in for a bagel and left with two kitties! Lol! Bagel was delicious and the coffee was very good too. Paid $15 to play with kitties for 50 minutes, had a orange tabby flop in my lap and refuse to get up. Another little grey cat kept laying on the tabby and the tab didn't care so took them both honey after a couple of bucks to help support the mission and filling out some paperwork. My life has changed for the better... after a bagel.

    Yummy cat rice krispy treat!

We go to the two in town once every few months, and enjoy the wide range of cats and kitten alike. Rebekah L. introduced us to this new kitty cafe early late last month, however with our schedules and the busy-ness of this lounge, we were only able to schedule a visit this past weekend. So we loaded up, and drove to meet Rebekah in not-so-small Kailua Town. We lucked out on street parking and met up with our friend to walk into the most kitschy kitty place of our dreams. Literally. The waiting area was decorated with cat posters and comfy chairs to wait for check in. The most impressive part was the huge cat tiki that commanded attention as soon as walking in. One of the cat owners, Heather, advised that the statue was commissioned and the work was so beautifully done it had me wondering if I wanted a cat tiki in my apartment.. After check in, we were directed to the snacks for purchase before entering the 'cat room'. We opted for both treats, and it would be brought into the cat room after it was made. The dole whip was delicious and such a generous portion too. We also tried the acai bowl for 'research purposes' and I was shocked to learn in was vegan. The acai bowl sweetness wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be, and the granola had a nice crunch to it. So far this kitten lounge has my favorite snacks- definitely blew the previous bean water and tea out of the water. The nicest touch (in my opinion) was that the owner also directed us where the bathroom was before starting our cat adventure. It was a very nice touch as many places do not offer bathrooms, especially cat lounges. We sanitized our hands and walked into the cat area. There was a main cat area, currently decorated in the tiki/Old Hawaii style with tiny grass huts and aloha shirt cats framing the walls. One thing I was surprised and delighted to discover was that there was multiple cat rooms! To the left of the main room, there was two smaller rooms, decorated 'cat' themed as well, with Chinese Cat Paw wallpaper and cat trees and toys all over. There was 'human' seating room all over the place, and the different rooms allowed much more space and time with cats than it would have been with just one big room. There was enough hiding space for the kittens to chill out for a nap. However they were relentless in their playing and just general 'kitten-ness' that there wasn't much napping when we were there. We currently have a soon to be three year old cat, and have been on the hunt for a possible candidate for our shy guy. One thing I didn't notice beforehand (in my excitement for cats) was that the lounge was only meant for kittens, and not cats of all ages. It didn't take away from my experience at all, but I was pleasantly surprised. My fiancé ended up falling for a cute tiny kitten named Kona, however it wasn't meant to be and we didn't end up adopting her. After our hour was up, we said a heartful goodbye to the kittens and the Owners, and left feeling much more relaxed than when we came in. We will be adding Aloha Kitty Cafe into our roster of cat lounges to visit and cannot wait for our next kitty play date!
