I came here during the Big Crush Amador wine festival last weekend which included a tasting, Chinese chicken salad and a cookie. The staff was very friendly and gave really great service, probably the best we had of the both days of the festival. The wines were good, none I poured out, but also none I had to buy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This theme is classic cars so everything is car themed and so cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Might be a good way to drag your guy along if he's not a wine guy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view is nice, bathroom was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall a nice little hidden gem!

My favorite Amador winery. This is the old-school Amador flavor profile, fruit-forward and intense. One feels like family here. One of the very few wineries where I love all of their wines. Other wineries in Amador have changed their wines for more mass-appeal, but Driven stays true to the Amador terroir. Give them a try to see what Amador used to be! We are members because they are that good!

I came up here with my family for a Tesla event. We did a full tasting for $10. The wines were mostly okay. My favorite was the Barbera. I liked the snack cup that was provided. It included cheese, crackers, fruits, and a piece of chocolate. The view was nice. The grounds were decorated with old car parts. The servers were friendly, though they didn't give any details or information on most of the tastings.

I don't know why there are not more five star reviews for this lovely winery. The view is breathtakingly. The tasting room and outside seating, quaint. The owner was super informative and friendly and allowed us a peek of his classic car collection. The wines are some of the best we've tasted in Amador. Get the Cabriolet, a smooth red blend of Cab, Syrah and Zin! Dog friendly patio seating is available too!!

look out for these signs...you dont want to miss Driven!

We stop at Driven when we are up in Amador County...I was a bit hesitant to go back as it had recently changed hands after Chris' passing....I am so glad we did! George and Anne are still there and a staple at the winery...it was great to be greeted with their usual smile and welcoming attitude! We thoroughly loved meeting Bob and Desa and know that they will continue on with making amazing wines! It was truly like being with family and we could have sat there all night chatting with all 4 of them! I love Anne's energy and enthusiasm and George is always amazing to chat with! Wishing Bob and Desa much success and we can't wait for our next visit!

Don't be judgey. Driven is not a drop down beautiful winery. But the wine is so good. I highly recommend the Barbera and tempernillo. The hosts are great And hospitable. Take the drive out to driven, you will not be dissapointed.

$15 wine sips outrageously expensive. Will never return, wasn't even enough wine in the glass to taste and again $15!!!

Beautiful location on a hill with some very tasty wine! The service we received for tastings and for our pup was so welcoming. We were all glad that this was the main suggestion that popped up because we had such a wonderful time at the tasting room. The space itself is very clean and modern, and it has a beautiful view of the hills around the area. The outdoor seating area right in front of the tasting room is a wonderful space to take advantage of if you are going to be in the area during the warmer times of the year. We tasted their general menu that day when it came to the flights. Everyone had their own favorites. The call-outs for us would be the rose and the primitivo. Those two we really liked and bought two bottles of each. We did not get to try the food there but everything that was coming out looked super delicious. The one thing that caught her eye that a lot of people were ordering was the whipped feta. So that is definitely something we want to try next time when we go back. So if you're in the area please drive a little further out over the hill to find this wonderful little space.

We sat inside since the weather wasn't that great outside. They have beautiful grounds to taste wine and have a picnic. Since we sat inside we had Jake waiting on us. He was very nice. He gave us a bottle of water to start with and we went through the tasting list with a couple of extras. He put our wine club pickup together for us. We decided to swap out a couple of bottles. I thinks it's truly annoying they have to refund the entire wine pick up and recharge you again. It's not a friendly user experience and should be reviewed. Credit the two bottles and recharge the 2 bottles. I think it would be a simple process for the customer and the winery, and still have good accounting practices. I asked if we could have the complementary breadsticks everyone else was eating them and the girl behind the counter said we are all out. OKAY! I really love the Chardonnay it's my favorite. Rombauer makes some great wines. Bottles can be costly, but once you open the bottle and you have your first - three sips, you know why you're in the wine club. As a member your tastings are complementary which is a nice benefit. I'm happy that they hold our wine club bottles until we come to pick them up usually twice a year. It would be nice if they did complementary shipping for a penny all the time.
