I was definitely not expecting to write a review of a used car buying experience. The term "used car salesman" has become synonymous with dishonesty and general smarminess, but my experience with Badr was completely different. I started down the road at another dealership, with my Research in hand, and they suddenly couldn't find the car I wanted and had no explanation for where it was. When they offered to show me a brand new model of the same car, I left and went to Drivers Mart. I was initially caught off guard that they do not run inspections on their vehicles prior to selling them, but they had very low prices and an inspection deal and return policy, so I figured I would take a chance. From my initial meeting with my salesman, Badr, he was polite, respectful, and felt genuine and honest. We spent the next three hours together test driving cars, completing paperwork, swapping family stories, and he completely put me at ease. They also gave me what felt like a fair price for my trade-in, which was a much better offer than I had received at Carmax. I had the car inspected the next day and they updated the necessary services on the car. Now I have been driving it for a month and still love it. read more

Sorry to the Drivers Mart team that I took so long to make this review... I was working with Gerald & had my 2 year old with me as I am a single mother and had finally saved enough money to put down on a car & insurance as well as getting my credit to the right place to shop. I had to do the test drive by installing my sons car seat which they said was no issue. I originally went for a car I saw online but seeing it in person didn't wow me but it was cute. I told Gerald what I wanted and was looking for, and he showed me another car that he thought would be a good fit. I fell in love ! It was more miles then what I wanted but it was fully loaded & had a double sunroof ! I was already preapproved and really liked the car. I did a little bit more shopping as I had another appointment that weekend with a different dealership and when I came back for the car, they wanted some money down although I was trying to avoid it. I understood why but I have been looking for 8 MONTHS for a car, haven't liked anything, have not had such good customer service like at drivers mart. So I was sad but continued to look, after my extremely horrible experience at Off Lease Only Orlando dealership, I decided to go back to Drivers Mart, put the money down and the process took two hours tops and the last few days I have been so happy with my car and came back to pick up the plate. Driver smart we'll always have my upmost recommendation and I was pretty annoying about my car to check if it was still there and if they could work with me, they have all kinds of cars and what I like most about them is the fact that when you ask questions about the dealer fees, it was no change it and there is an answer for every question THANK YOU Gerald-Jenn & Allen again for your great service !!! read more

This was a horrible experience walked in was told to sit at a table and someone will be with you, after sitting there no one assisted me for over 2 hours. Other people cam after me and was assisted right away. No sales person came over at all. I don't like playing the race card but it's hard not to think that way when I was the black customer in the place, I only stayed because they had the car I wanted, minus the floor mats and owners manual. I understand that the fees raised the interest rate the bank quoted me. So why has the rate not decrease after I canceled the service agreement 2 days later? Also, why does it take 4-6 weeks to return the money back to the bank? I doubt you had already received it before the cancellation. You, the financing guy, also told me that I had to contact the bank for the change in interest rate, but the bank told me that I had to do it with you. Dishonesty all around! I am contacting BBB. Stay away from the one in Winter Park! There should be a choice for a 0 rating. read more

Scam alert, Holler Drivemart , finance guy try running a warranty scam on my 70 year old elderly mother. I accompanied my mother yesterday to Holler Drivemart in Winterpart/ Casselberry on Semoran. And after spending several hours trying to find a vehicle for my mother, she finally found a vehicle she liked. However, when it came down to financing the car the finance manager try to pull a warranty scam on my 70 year old elderly mother, by misleading her that because of her credit the bank will only finance the vehicle , if she purchase extended warranty. And, When we refuse the warranty, he refuse to sell the car , unless we bought the warranty. So, we left without buying the car.. Shame on you Holler Drivemart for trying to take advantage of 70 year elderly woman. read more

We are very disappointed with our experience at this store today. We had pre-approved financing and a substantial down payment. My wife was there at 3:30 and looked at several vehicles and decided on a black Nissan Rogue. When I arrived after work we started the paperwork and then got hit with the surprises. No inspection or prep done to car. I was expected to pay $400 for what other dealers do to get a car ready. Then the extra fees adding up to $1000. A complete misrepresentation from the advertised price. I was willing to go a few hundred above my budget despite being upset with the hidden fees, but they let me walk away for less than $400. They sold me a solid car up to its maintenance interval. Ten days out, its running well and I like it. Have to wait for Florida summer to be sure. Aside from that, guy I worked with, Eric, was great. Phill Collins, the Sales Manager was great. After I signed and they sold the car, never had any communication on tag, title, registration process. Had to reach out and was told tag is due in 6 weeks, no answer on registration and tag transfer. After being charged almost $400 dollars for those services, I find it very disappointing and frustrating. If you charge for a service, you deliver. To sum it all up, car checks out so far, sales should be checked if you are buying, after you buy, may God help you. read more

What a horrible experience at Holler Driver's Mart I have purchased 12 different vehicles all through different dealerships and car lots and have never been to a dealership like this. Starting with the so called "manager" Edaurdo - who to begin with doesn't have people skills at all. We drove from Naples Florida - to look at a vehicle. Walked in and test drove the vehicle and left to have lunch, came back and Eduardo stated we had left and he had someone else coming to look at the vehicle..we came back after lunch ready to purchase the vehicle and he basically told us.."I'm not ready to sell you the vehicle"! This place is the worse place to buy a vehicle. The cars are not in 100% condition. The sales people read you a script of how the sales are conducted. The car we bought supposedly had a recall that was to be repaired by the dealer but not the case. The cost to repair car was $1200. When ask the dealer to take back the $799 dealer fee in exchange for repairing the vehicle, at my own expense they refused... what a bunch of freaking looser sales people!!! We purchased a car from this vendor yesterday, realizing it was "as-is" however, as soon as we got home from the dealer (10 miles) the check engine light and a transmission warning light came on. We took it to be diagnosed this morning and received 3 codes which could run a significant cost to repair. As the dealer has a 5 day return policy and we paid $5k for the car, we decided to return the car. Other then the sheer hassle of having to return a damaged car within 24 hours of purchase, this process was hassle free. The manager we met with was also quick to point out that we should be grateful for the company's "no return to stock" fee. However, huge alert: I just checked the website again, and the car is again available within 2 hours of our returning it. Now some other unsuspecting customer is going to purchase this damaged vehicle. Was everything fixed in 2 hours or is this dealership now selling a car "as-is", but not disclosing vehicle issues they ARE aware of? And I'm now left wondering if they know of these issues prior to our purchasing this car. This practice is not okay. read more

I'm honestly shocked at the negative reviews on here. Bare with me as I give a long explanation as to why this establishment received 5 stars. I was extremely cautious about going to Driver's Mart to look at a car after reading these reviews, but the great price on a car I had been shopping around for drew me in. Our salesman, Sammy, was genuinely friendly and easy to work with. We took our test drive, asked about the out the door price, and were on our way with our new (to us) car all within just a couple of hours. I am highly skeptical of "no haggle" dealerships because in my experience, haggle free does not always mean "better deal," but this wasn't the case with Driver's Mart. I had been looking for a specific vehicle for quite some time, so I knew precisely what they were going for in the current market. My husband and I were actually on our way to Atlanta to look at a different car priced the same, but with 18k miles higher than the one we got at DM. As soon as we saw the ad for our car pop up on cars.com, we immediately turned around and headed in the opposite direction to Driver's Mart. To make a fairly long story short, we ended up purchasing the vehicle for much less than any other competitor, with much fewer miles, and we didn't even have to negotiate to get the price we wanted! I do have one negative thing to say... They do not inspect their vehicles before selling. They claim this is how they are able to sell the cars for so cheap. They DID provide a free Auto Check report on the car, but my husband and I did not sign anything until I purchased a Carfax report, just to be safe. The carfax checked out completely clean and the car had actually been fully inspected just a few months previous at a Kia dealership, so we felt confident in our purchase. My advice to buyers is to get the Carfax so you don't run into any surprises. The Auto Check report did not contain as much information on the car's history as Carfax did. Lies and double talking await at this dealership (plus a lack of knowledge of in-stock inventory but this review won't fault for that). We found a vehicle online (2014 Nissan Altima SL) at this dealership so I sent an email regarding interest and to see if it was still available. This was Saturday night past close but I received a call at 9:00 the next morning (Sunday) from the Internet Department informing me that the vehicle was still available and that he would email the management to hold the car for me when the dealership opened (12 noon) which was nice as the drive takes around two and a half hours, so we loaded up and headed down feeling pretty encouraged with the dealership so far and our ETA at just before 1:00pm. Fast forward two hours and twenty minutes of driving, ten minutes from arriving at the dealership: we received a call from the Internet Department again saying that at the dealership they were "having a hard time locating the keys to the vehicle and a hard time locating the vehicle" (already sounds a bit fishy but we're ten minutes away from the dealership at this point so we drive in). We were met walking in by a salesman who we informed of the situation and who promptly began telling us about how the dealership worked, etc. After the interlude of how the business works we were finally able to get the salesman to check on the vehicle in question. After a few minutes he returned to tell us that they no longer have the vehicle. I requested to speak to management to clarify this and after the salesman showed us other options of vehicles he eventually walked us over to management. I asked the manager about the vehicle, explaining that we had been told hours earlier that it was in stock. He informed us that the Internet Department may not have access to the most current inventory and when the Internet Department asked about that car when they opened that day, they told them that it had already sold days before. I clarified this and the manager confirmed again that he could see in the system where someone had bought it days before. I calmly told the manager that I understood how discrepancies in inventory could arise and understood that the Internet Department was not at the location so they couldn't tell in real time the working inventory and it's too bad someone beat us to it. He was very agreeable when he realized I was being calm and courteous, so agreeable in fact that he went on to say that he was sorry about the situation and that maybe the Internet Department couldn't see it because it doesn't show up immediately when a vehicle goes to auction. I clarified this with him remarking that it was too bad it went to auction, asking about the details to which he said he could see "right here" on his computer screen where it went to auction. I questioned this as well because if he could see that it went to auction, why was I told on the phone a few minutes before by the Internet Department that they were having trouble finding the keys and the car? He said that when someone asks about something that's gone to auction they will frantically search the lot just in case they may have bought it back from auction so that's why they were having a hard time finding the keys. At this point I politely confronted the manager with the fact that he had told me first that it been purchased and now that it went to auction and that both things couldn't be true. This is when the backtracking came on heavy with him trying to clarify that when a car leaves the lot, it won't show up in the system that it's gone yet and that is what was causing the problem. I brought it to his attention that he said he could see on his computer both times and again that they both couldn't be true. As the conversation was going nowhere we thanked them for their time and politely left. Luckily we had planned ahead and had another dealership to visit after that and found a better deal (fewer miles, cheaper, better trim) a few miles up the road at Orlando Kia North (great to work with, check them out!) Honestly, I still don't think the manager believes that he ever lied, such is the fabricated reality of a pathological liar. The thing is, we would have been more than happy to look at their inventory and were ready to buy. If my review doesn't suggest it already, I'm very patient and understanding and can easily look past an inventory error (which I never faulted them for and still don't) but the problem is we were lied to, by management no less. This I cannot look past. Bonus tidbit: pre-reconditioned is a nice word that means nothing is done to the vehicles before selling them, they are put on the lot exactly as they are purchased by the dealership. Maybe you'll get a lemon, maybe not, better hope you find out within 5 days/300 miles. read more

I went to Drivers Mart looking for a vehicle on December 30th, 2018. I was told that they require $1,000 cash down payment. No problem. I gathered the money and returned back on January 2, 2019 ready to purchase the vehicle. When I got there in the evening ready to sign the paperwork, I was told that "the bank is asking for $1,300 to approve me" because the vehicle is older. Shouldn't the car be cheaper now? I had a 45minute discussion with the salesperson and the manager because they originally quoted a different price and I was not in a position to add an additional $300. The manager came back and said "okay we don't normally do this but we will let you go through with the transaction for $1000. I bought the car. Its great, beautiful Chrysler 200 with 80k miles on it. I asked the salesperson if there is any issues. He said NO. I asked the salesperson if there is anything I should be worried about, he said NO. They also offered me a warranty for 20K miles, and said it will cover things from Light bulbs and oil changes to transmission issues etc, and I would not have to pay any additional fees as long as I go to the preferred/recommended people. They never include the Warranty Brochure of the things it actually covers into your final paperwork. I bought the car. Fantastic! I drove off the lot, and the moment I sped up and got on the freeway, a warning light went off on my dashboard saying Transmission Failure, and my gears would not shift. So I was going 32miles on the freeway. The car was stuck in D3 for 30 min until I got home. The very next morning I drove the car, still in D3 gear, still not shifting, all the way back to the dealer, where they had it serviced and told me that the magnetic connection on the transmission was not properly connected. Why was this issue not addressed before you sold me the vehicle? Why was I lied to when I asked if the vehicle has problems? The vehicle was reset and was functioning fine again for 3 days. Then the same problem happened again and I had to take time off from work to drive all the way back to the dealer to fix it. They looked at it again, told me they will reset it, but now I have to go to a specialist because "he is the only one that has a specialty key for your type of car". I could not get an appointment with the specialist for over a month. Meanwhile, my vehicle had the same problem and has been stalling periodically while I was in drive. I contacted my salesperson, and the manager both via phone and text and no one ever got back to me. I went to the specialist yesterday and gave him the warranty and I was charged $70 to fix the issue. He told me that the warranty doesn't cover anything. I am furious, irritated and outraged the way this company handles customer service. It was such a waste of my time going back and forth to the dealer to fix an issue I was not even aware of. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM DRIVERS MART!!!! great selection of cars, but all of them come with underlying issues that are not even discussed. The sales person was very in knowledgeable on the car and had a BS answer We were never told it was buy as is and never told it was As is. When we question the navigation he was speechless for five minutes just standing there an idiot so we got in a car. He was a sorry excuse for a sales person and is the reason why car dealers have a bad name. This place treated me like dirt as my credit isn't great, and I bought from them January 2019 so I am a repeat customer. Horrible customer service, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic where retail is slow. I know they weren't busy at the dealership. It was like pulling teeth to get any information about my finance app, it literally took 3 days of following up to find out they wanted to qualify me for some high risk program. I actually want to thank Drivers Mart because I just purchased through Carvana a 3 year newer vehicle and my APR is 18%. Hassle free, all online, and my vehicle is being delivered to my residence in 2 days. Through drivers mart last year the APR was 21%, and this time they wouldn't even approve me through a bank. If I can give zero stars I would. This is the worst place to buy a car. They make false promises and lie to make a deal. I bought a car three years old under 40k miles and when I got it inspected, it needed almost a thousand dollars for repairs in the engine. I went to the manufacturer to get a second opinion and they agreed. When I brought it back three days after I bought it they told me it's a minor problem and a quick fix. Then they said if problem keeps happening to bring it back. RED FLAG!!! And the $1800 warranty they sold did NOT cover the repairs!! Never go here!! read more

Might of been the worst buying experience ever. Should of walked away when the salesman backed in the car and hit the curb. We got the car home and didn't even think maybe we should check the passenger door...it doesn't even unlock from the outside you have to let the person from the inside. When we left the lot I look at the gas meter and less then one bar I honestly barely made it to the gas station. After I left the gas station the check engine light came on. I took the car to Audi and found out his year model has an oil consumption problem also it needed a oil change, spark plugs, basically 400$ in service and 500$ to fix the door lock. When speaking to them they would not budge on price or help in anyway with oil changes, tint, cleaning up the car or anything. We did this the day before the holiday I specifically told them they had to contact my bank before two and make sure they had all information. At 1:45 they tell me I need to get a hold of my bank they never did, " I responded I have been here for over three hours and told you that when I first got here and you didn't bother trying earlier?" When you go to this lot they have like 12 salesmen in the lobby just sitting around all depressed and look like they hate their jobs maybe lives. Sad when your employees look that unhappy and you can't please your customers. I will never return to this dealership or recommend anyone to this dealership. This place could use a little work in the customer service department. The first time I went in for an oil change, they told me to pull around back to the service area and someone would help me. The service drive was completely deserted and I did a little searching but couldn't find anyone. I went into the cashiers office and requested help. The woman behind the desk told me to "go find someone". Finally someone emerged and an hour and a half later I was on my way. 2 years later and virtually nothing has changed. read more

I've never been to a dealership like this and I hope to never go back to one. They have a different style than most dealerships and they think it is a good thing, but it is not. I have bought cars from small used car dealers and also Lexus of Orlando. Holler Drivers mart is a part of a large network of dealers and I expected them to value their name. I came to the drivers mart to look for and buy one of at least 3 different vehicles depending on their condition. As we looked around we found more that we thought we wanted to see. A sales guy followed us but was not very helpful, in fact he was completely un interested in selling cars or being there at all it seemed. I told him the cars that I wanted to see and if I could have the keys for them to start them and he only brought back one key while we were waiting for him in the florida sun. When we turned on the car the A/C didn't work on a 2007 Avalon and the sales guy was trying to tell me that sometimes the A/C doesn't work when its hot outside? Obviously bs. The avalon was also rusting at the edge of the rear door and his response was well thats the way it is. Then he got the keys for an accord that smelled like a smoker died in the back seat. Then he got the keys to a 2013 Kia Optima and the car looked to be the first one ever made and abused. The window linings were fading and there were obvious scratches on the car. Just for fun I looked at a Lexus RX350 and it had a sticker that said "wrench ready" I asked the sales guy what that meant and he said it means it has over 100,000 miles. I said "wrench ready" sounds like something is wrong with it, to which he said "There might be" ... There might be?? What kind of answer is that. What kind of dealer puts a nice looking Lexus with 106,000 miles on the lot with some potential problems. Then he got the Keys to a Hyundai Genesis v8 and it looked great inside and out, decent miles, decent price. But given the condition of the other cars it made me skeptical of the car, made there was mechanical problems that I didn't see. So I would want to work on the price a little to cover me on that. So then I ask the sales guy how much room there is to work on the Genesis and he just says "none, if no one buys it it will go to the auction" He said they also don't clean the cars any more than what you see inside or out, no detailing, touch up paint, scratch removing, nothing. What is the point of buying there the offer no incentives, no price breaks, no dealer perks. At this point I am convinced that they are trying not to sell cars and this is one big money laundering scheme. I told him then I will just go to the auction and buy it there. He said I don't have a dealer license, but like many people in Orlando I know several people that would go to the Auction and buy me a car for a $500+/- fee. There is no way any of the cars they have sell for those prices at an auction so why wouldn't they even sit down and talk to me. I walked out drenched in sweat and he said nothing. No good bye, no card, no numbers, nothing. Contrast that with the next dealership I went to was Mercedes of Orlando to look at (ironically) a Lexus. They gave us water and snacks. The first thing he said is we don't want to loose your business over price. And they didn't. I drove off in the Lexus that evening. After a Full detail inside and out. They offer a 60day warranty on their cars even thought they brought the price down waay below blue book, NADA, and the Genesis at the other dealer. Plus the added incentive of knowing that I could bring the car to Lexuses awesome dealer network for Warranty work. TLDR: So the one star I give Holler Auto mart is for them not letting me get that Hyundai, Kia, Toyota or Honda but letting me drive home that night in a Lexus from a better dealer. read more

Do not think for a moment that this is a positive review just from glancing at the initial text below. Read the whole review. Came to Holler Driver Mart Looking to purchase a fuel efficient vehicle. I saw a car I liked, test drove it, and loved it. Spent about two hours looking at it, debating, etc., and decided to do the finance paperwork to see what he final numbers would be. Did paperwork, had my transfer tag copied down, insurance info taken as well, and was approved, but I had to go to work and they told me they'd call with details about it. I was serious about it. I was one step away from purchasing the car, so they told me to come back today [July 9th] (I was there two days ago). I missed their call 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, so I called right back. They said they could not discuss /any/ details with me, even though I was there only 10 minutes before that point. They said to come back when I could (which was today, because I was working all day yesterday), and I told them this-they said no problem. I was irked that they said one thing then contrasted it: "We will discuss details over the phone!"~~"Oh, yeah, we can't do that-It must be done in person". I LIVE 45 MINUTES AWAY, I can't just toodle back to the dealership to simply discuss numbers after you already told me this could be done via the phone! ANYWAYS: I went online last night to excitedly show a family member the car I was looking at, only to see that it was not on their website. "Oh cool, they're holding it for me! That's great, especially since Ill be signing off on it tomorrow" I thought to myself. I called today and was told the car was sold last night. ...Are you kidding me? In a fit of rage, I cursed out the receptionist after being told "Oh well!", who then directed me to the sales manager, only to be told "If you wanted the car that badly, you should've purchased it two days ago" even though THEY made me wait over an hour to process financial paperwork, by which point I had to leave for work. Spent 3+ hours in total at the dealership. The nerve to say I wasn't truly interested and should have "jumped on it" is infuriating. Had I not been truly interested, I wouldn't have had them pull a credit report (which, for you credit beginners {and you too Mr Manager!} makes your score drop everytime that happens because it's just one of those things... Same thing happens when applying for a new credit card). In short, my time was wasted, my credit score got knocked for absolutely nothing, and the car I liked was sold beneath me. Maybe you guys should have told me THAT DAY that cars are first-come first-serve instead of having me think that all was fine and dandy to the point I could come in only TWO DAYS LATER to sign off on a $7K+ car, only to sell it away to another person. Eff' you. Nice vehicle selection; s*%#ty customer service. Must be due to the no-commission attitude: no individual customer loyalty. Thanks for nothing! read more

I will never step foot in this place again... Because I did not have any money down I was treated like garbage... After I left the dealership and the next day tried to follow up on my paperwork I was handed around and made promises that I would get a call back... I needed a car immediately for a new job that I was started but lost the opportunity on this job because they never got back to me not even until this day... I must have called them about 100 times with promises that I would get a call back but no luck.... I don't recommend this place to no one because since they do not work on commission it's a oh well attitude... Not good for business... I wish I had the choice of giving them zero stars because that's what they deserve from me read more
