My son recently purchased a 2016 High Country truck from Orlando Preowned, and unfortunately, our…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. This was his first major purchase, and we were assured by the dealership that the truck was in mint condition, fully inspected, and had no issues. However, shortly after the purchase, the truck developed serious transmission problems. It ultimately required a full transmission replacement. Thankfully, we did purchase a warranty, but even that has turned into another issue. The warranty company is not covering the full cost, and the dealership has refused to step in and cover the remaining balance. Their reasoning was that the repair shop was charging too much--but that leaves us stuck paying for a major repair on a vehicle that should not have had these issues in the first place. To make matters worse, even some of the dealership employees have told us that this situation isn't right and that the cost should have been covered. However, the owner has refused to take responsibility or pay the remaining balance. The truck has now been sitting in the shop for over a month, completely undrivable. I do want to mention that Jay, our salesman, was great to work with. Unfortunately, beyond that, I cannot say anything positive about this dealership. We feel like we were sold a lemon, and the dealership is not standing behind the vehicle they sold us. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from Orlando Preowned to think twice.

I regularly drive 17/92 past the street where this small dealer has been located since 2007, and…read morereally haven't paid much attention even though I could read the "goodcars4goodpeople" sign from my car. Little did I know that I would be referred recently to this small retail dealer when my son's SUV was totaled in a multiple car crash (my son was shaken but okay). When my son identified one of the cars offered online on his list of possible makes and models, we checked the hours of the dealer and realized we needed to wait until morning to check it out in person. Of course, the wait allowed us time to look in depth at the Carfax History that is provided FREE OF CHARGE!! I found that many dealers require you to purchase it. My son, brother-in-law, and I arrived right around opening time and talked with Pete, one of the managers. Pete worked quickly with the necessary paperwork and releases so we could take the desired car for a test drive. My son confirmed with my brother-in-law and me that he did want to purchase the car, and after some negotiation and arrangements, he purchased the car. In our county's current car shortage situation, a decision needed to be made sooner than later. Pete was great to work with - he knows the vehicles and history - and explained the whole purchase process and what each disclosure, agreement, and acknowledgement meant. No worries here about the "old-time" car salesman routine! I whole-heartedly recommend the dealer because of Pete and Mike, the owner, and the quality of cars. Although the inventory is smaller than a regular dealer, checking it out is worth your time.

I made an appointment yesterday for today to run diagnostics on my 2001 f150 having a fuel/air…read moreissue. When I scheduled it they took all of my info about the truck. Year, mileage, issues. I even called them on the way this morning to let them know I was running late and they told me no problem. When I arrived and checked in, after struggling to drive there because my vehicle is having issues, I was told they won't help me because my vehicle is more than 15 years old. At no point during TWO phone calls in which they had all of the information about my vehicle did they tell me they couldn't offer me service. They wasted my time and almost caused me to break down on the side of the road for NOTHING trying to get there. What a colossal customer service failure. absolutely horrible. I will never give them my business for anything and I was thinking about getting a new truck.

Completely Unprofessional - Stay Far Away from Peacock Ford…read more I brought my EV to Peacock Ford for a basic tire rotation and an issue with the front camera. What followed was one of the most frustrating, time-wasting experiences I've ever had with any service center. Mr. Jordan promised that if diagnostics weren't completed the same day, I'd receive a loaner the next day. That never happened. He ghosted my calls, ignored multiple voicemails, and only responded days later with a text saying my vehicle was "ready." When I showed up, they hadn't even fixed the issue -- just held my car for 4 days, ordered parts, and told me to bring it back next week. Worse, Mr. Jordan was extremely rude, blaming me for calling late and implying that my expectations were the problem. Not once did they offer a loaner as promised or keep me in the loop. Bottom line: they wasted four days of my time, didn't fix anything, and treated me with complete disregard. If you value your time, your vehicle, and basic customer service, avoid Peacock Ford at all costs.

I'm going to make this short for now and may amend it later. I don't recall the salesman's name but…read morehe was very polite very professional and very cordial. Dexter one of the managers was also very helpful very polite very professional. The other manager, whose name I also can't all at the moment was also very polite and professional. Their business is very detailed, very well thought out and has everything that they need for an individual with troubled credit. They offer in-house insurance and in-house lending. They did accommodate my disability, and did modify their return policy to accommodate my disability. For this, I'm thankful appreciative, and they did the right thing in accordance with the ADA. The downside is that their pricing is a bit high because of who their clientele is. They also have mandatory warranty coverage. This is both good and bad. It protects their investment and your product but there's no way to opt out that's driving the cost of ownership higher. The other con is that they have a mandatory GPS tracking device that invade your privacy that you cannot opt out of. This is not only violate several privacy laws. It also violates the ADA. They violated the ADA, because I requested an accommodation for them to modify the warranty coverage to a shorter period to accommodate my disability related needs, and they failed and refused to respond as the ADA requires, in writing, demonstrating how they requested accommodation fundamentally alter the nature of their service product or activity. That is what is required, and they failed, and refused to do so. Overall, I do recommend them if you were in a situation that needs this type of service and is OK with the cons.
