Based on reviews, I picked here for lunch and was not disappointed! Tons of outdoor seats with a view of Mount Shasta! My sandwich was great! Had a bit of a kick to it ~ which was a bit spicy to my liking, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The bread was also delish too!

Drizzle is one of those places you never forget and will always stop by when you visit Mt Shasta. The food is all made fresh, and it's made with lots of love. It's an amazing spot in the downtown area, it's all Outdoor seating , open space, artistic flair all around you. Amazing promotion work done on every post. Honestly yall did a wonderful job creating a vibe. There is no indoor seating so if it's cold dress warm. Service was fantastic, the team working was amazing with taking our orders, suggestions, small talk etc. you can tell they have a rhythm. The burritos were amazing both too big , not too small but wow they were packed with flavor. The early bird was light , delicious and the sauce was perfect. I got the mountain climber and I love pastrami so I was really stoked. The pastrami was tender, not over salty, had amazing flavor and they crisped the edges which made it that much more amazing. Usually pastrami feels heavy after and that was not the case. I ended up getting one of their peanut butter cookies and had it with my Mexican Mocha ... I have to tip my hat to you because there is a place called better buzz and they have a mocha de Mexico and your Mexican mocha rivals theirs .. my wife got the Peanut butter latte and you could just not go wrong with your choices here. Drizzle I will be a stop every time we venture out this way, some places use sauces to overtake their food but Drizzle does not . Their sauce and fresh ingredients complement one another. You could take out just the pastrami or hash browns and have them on their own and they are seasoned well. Me and my wife love to cook and one day would love to open up a little spot that has this kind of flair in their food. Cheers Drizzle... and to everyone who stops here or is passing by ... don't question it just give them a try. Let me know when yall get 2x shirts in I'll use that as an excuse to come back haha.

My all time favorite from this place is their peanut butter latte, amazing!!!! Their wrap isn't the best, and I wish it would I've came with salsa but I had to go back the second day to get their latte because it was that delicious!!!

Went to a burger joint with some of the top burgers in the country and we ordered bowls and salads. That was our fail but the food wasn't! The food was great...as were the smoothies and the milkshakes!

Fans of Yak Shak, fear not! Drizzle is merely a rebrand of the beloved burger and coffee shop in Mt Shasta. This place serves some of the best burgers I've ever had. My go to is the Fresh AF, which features a lovely jalapeño aolli and plenty of cilantro with crispy onions and a hint of brown sugar. I recommend upgrading to their fries. I almost always get a bowl of soul or chai as a drink to go. The view of Mt Shasta are incredible and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff are friendly. Don't pass this place by when driving along The 5!

Stopped by for breakfast on our way north. From the moment we walked in, you could tell the food was going to be special - several signs state they himself homemade syrups and sauces including a lavender ketchup. We ordered the Boom Boom which came out crisped perfectly with a white sauce that was delicious. Wasn't able to try any of their other food items but would stop by again if in the area. If you're driving southbound to visit this spot, or coming northbound up to Mt. Shasta, I'd advise you to drive past this restaurant, or turn around and go to Yaks on the 5 instead. Yak Shack isn't even in the same league as YOTF, by a long shot. Burger presentation looked promising (I ordered the Old McDonald burger), but when eating it, I couldn't taste any chicken, and there wasn't any pastrami on it either, seemingly. Maybe two measly pieces? If I weren't starving from a day at the lake, I wouldn't have eaten here otherwise. My girlfriend's garlic fries also tasted like a chemical, and immediately burned my lips/face, and everyone else's who tried them also. Not sure what's going on at this restaurant, but there's absolutely no love or flavor going into their craft, compared to The Five. Service isn't the fastest, but the vibe is always welcoming, and I love the art-style read more

Came here during the 4th of July and I am glad we made it instead of cooking healthily the entire week because this is the taste of America: fatty, juicy, doused in diabetes, dripping in sauce, classic burger and fries. There was a line of 4 groups but we were served quickly. Glad we shared one burger between two because it's so heavy we would've fallen asleep at the wheel on the way back. Unfortunately there wasn't any indoor AC seating, only in the sun, but we ate pretty quickly so it didn't get too hot. May be better to take to go if you have AC though especially in the summer. I would absolutely get diabetes if I lived here because I don't think I would be able to keep myself from this place. read more

This place always seems to be very busy, but the wait times are not too long. We wanted a relatively quick dinner before an event so ordered the vegie burger version of the Vava Voom burger. When the cashier realized that we planned to split the burger, she offered to have them cut it in half for us. Instead of giving customers a number to listen for their order, they have cute names on slips, such as Elvis, Santa, Tinker Bell. The cashier genuinely enjoyed picking out a slip and reading it out and handing to each customer. We were Prince Charming. That describes my husband to a T. Our burger was delicious but VERY messy. I kept having to get up to get more napkins, and holding on to those napkins was challenging as it was quite windy at our table. Seating is all outdoors. Well worth the popularity. This place is the same as Yak on the 5 in Dunsmuir, our favorite stop on the way to Oregon but it was closed today due to a water leak. Easy to find street parking for our RV in late September. Yaks Originated in the early 2000's in Redding California. A group of us wanted to bring freshly roasted coffee, real food from scratch with other worldly flavors, and warm artistic environments to our city and everywhere else we went after. Since then we have expanded what we offer by a lot and do so much more! Come check us out and see for your self!

My wife was waiting to eat her pastry until my order came so we could actually eat breakfast together, so her already-dry monkey bread was no longer warm. All in all a very average experience. Not awful, but not great.

When my to go order was ready, I noticed what I thought was slight clumping or curdling of the cream in my coffee. The barista disagreed, said no, that she drank hers the same way, and that it was normal. So when she grudgingly offered to replace it I unwisely chose to trust her and left. 10 minutes down interstate 5, I regretted my decision. Either the coffee was bland or the cream was nasty. Or both. The breakfast sandwich was very dry too. I Never had hash browns actually placed into the sandwich between the slices of bread. The ambience of the coffeehouse was nice though. Including the cookie and tip, I paid $24.00. My meal wasn't worth that.

Stopped for lunch on the way back home from crows landing. Cool little spot in the middle of mt Shasta. Menu seems to be mainly bowls and sandwiches/burgers but honestly that's fine as the options are aplenty. Got the Fresh AF burger with fries. It's a cilantro/lime/onion topped burger with amazing creamy sauce. Delicious burger but a little messy for better or worse. Love a messy burger just feel like a spectacle in public. Patty was meaty, cooked well but still juicy and tender. Fries were great; cross between shoestring and hand cuts. Best of both worlds! Their ketchup is unique, sweet spicy tangy I guess the best I could describe? They're very proud of their house made sauces and they delivered. Street parking. 1pm on a random Monday and town was a little busy so I could see it being scarce depending on the day. Draft beer selection was nice to have, but it was mostly the standard fare. Got a boneyard IPA and hit the spot. It's counter service and the employee was super friendly and helpful. They give you your "order number" which alone is worthy the trip. What's not great? Not a lot honestly. One bathroom only. Outdoor patio seating with some sun cover. Was comfortable when we went but that could be unpleasant depending when you go. I frequent this coffee shop each business day to work on my doctoral homework and small business administration. I've been a regular on and off since 2012. I absolutely love this place!!! Alyssa (the owner) greets me with a warm smile each and every morning, as do Courtney and Elijah. It feels like a community living room--a place to make business and personal connections in this isolated rural mountain town. This place has everything I need--WiFi, an epic view of the mountain from my 'regular' spot, affordable caffeine and food so I can stay and work from about 9am-1pm most business days. I used to have an office space downtown, but working here is a much better deal--networking, community, fuel--this place is outstanding and I can't say enough!! My favorite things: Cappuccino, Banana Bread, Giving Bowl, Bowl of Soul, Cranberry Paradise Salad, Panini, Keegan the Vegan, and Blueberry Bagel w/Cream Cheese. Not to mention, this place has a subtle undercurrent of faith that I feel connected to amongst all the spiritual seeking in this town. Vegan/Veggie friendly, but down-to-earth. This is SUCH a better vibe and deal than the other spots in town. I highly recommend--and maybe I'll see you when you stop in! read more

I am writing to let other people with diabetes know that this establishment has no interest in helping those of us who have a potentially devastating and incurable disease enjoy a little sweetnes in their coffee with sugar free syrup. I have been there twice and their postion is they can't be bothered. And this morning, some woman who seemed to be the boss, although i don't know this for sure, after i told her that I was legally disabled by diabetes interrupted me while i was speaking and asked what did it have to do with them. While these people are not legally guilty of discrimination against the disabled, they certainly seemed to be morally guilty of indifference to other people's challenges. In addition, they seem to not be interested in making even a token attempt at accomodation. I would suggest to people who have diabetes or those who care about them that they take their money to other coffee places that have sympathy for the disabled. read more

Soooo... first let me say that the staff is wonderful. Very friendly and efficient. This is the first time I've ordered food there since it went from Yaks to Drizzle. I ordered a Chipotle bowl to go, which you'd expect would have a decent amount of cabbage and kale, like it states on the menu. It did have about 3 pieces of kale (maybe they were running low?) and a sparse amount of cabbage... but most definitely not enough to qualify as a "bowl" which is supposed to be a healthier alternative. And then there was the chicken... mostly dark meat, and not very good... again, what's up? A $15 "bowl" should at least have chicken breast meat. I did try to add some lettuce and more greens once I was home, but I ended up throwing most of it away. I'll be very hesitant to ever order another bowl there. Had I been at the spot I would have asked for my money back. C'mon guys, you can do better. read more

This review comes after our 2nd visit within 4 days- could not recommend this place anymore! We typically stop in Mt. Shasta on our way to & from Mt. Bachelor to charge our car & grab coffee and a bite to eat. I'm vegan & finding options in the area is not the easiest & Drizzle was 10/10 and had multiple solid vegan options! I got the vegan OG burger both times- the veggie patty they use is so good it almost gives a 'chicken' patty vibe, produce is super fresh & you can tell their sauces are homemade- the bbq was great! The cherry on top was the crispy onion strings on the burger. My boyfriend had the regular OG and devoured his too. The MVP- my coconut cream oat milk latte- out of this world. I am picky picky with espresso and syrups and I'm already thinking about the next time we'll be in the area so I can grab another coffee. Thanks Drizzle, we'll be back! read more

I dropped in for lunch and decided to try the Jalapeno Bacon burger ($19) and a standard adult cheese burger ($13). My experience was somewhat mixed. Unfortunately, the buns used for both burgers were not as fresh as I'd hoped, which did detract from the overall enjoyment. The burgers, while visually appealing, fell short in taste. They seemed a bit undercooked and lacked the seasoning I was expecting. Additionally, the fact that the burger comes with kettle chips and fries is available for an extra $2-$4 felt like an unnecessary upsell. On a more positive note, we also ordered a couple of lattes, both of which were excellent and a highlight of our meal. In total, our bill for 2 coffees, 2 burgers, and including the tip, amounted to $51. While I might consider returning for the coffee, the burgers were a letdown and wouldn't be my reason for revisiting. read more

I recently visited this burger place, and unfortunately, I don't understand the rave reviews. I ordered the jalapeño bacon burger, while my wife chose the chipotle chicken sandwich. Sadly, both sandwiches fell flat. They tasted like below-average burgers overloaded with toppings that overshadowed the flavor of the meat. The burgers were large, greasy messes, and we found them to be overpriced; we spent over $50 on two burgers and fries, and we only managed to eat about a quarter of our meals. Additionally, the ambiance left much to be desired for families. There was limited seating, and the infant seats were wobbly, dirty, and had broken straps, which was concerning. To top it off, the music was excessively loud, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. Perhaps it was just an off day, but we certainly won't be returning. read more

I sampled the burgers at both Yaks on The 5 (Dunsmuir) and its sister location Yaks Shack (Mt. Shasta). They are both excellently managed by the owners of the Yaks Company Burgers. I particularly enjoyed the Cilantro Bomb and Garlic Obsession, among others. My first taste of these renowned burgers was at Yaks on The 5 in the Historic District of Dunsmuir on Historic US Route Highway 99 and Mt. Shasta Boulevard is also on the US Route 99. One of the highlights of these establishments is the amusing order name tags. Personally, I prefer the original Yaks on The 5 for its larger and more spacious seating areas. It can get quite busy on certain days, but overall, if you're looking for a satisfying meal, I recommend visiting these two locations. I will definately returning to either location in the future. read more

This place was a major disappointment and definitely not worth the visit. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the experience would be poor. The space itself is incredibly small and cramped, making it feel uncomfortable and chaotic. We were stuck waiting in an agonizingly long line that seemed to take forever to move. To make matters worse, the service is truly bad. They had the breakfast menu prominently displayed, leading us to believe it was available; however, after waiting in that endless line, the cashier abruptly informed us that breakfast service had ended at 11:30 am. Perfect amount of salt on fries, fresh greens on the sandwich and the main star would definitely be the BBQ sauce on the chicken. To pair, I had what was recommended to me, the Mudslide, a chocolate and peanut butter coffee which can be ordered either hot or iced. I chose the latter. First time here, got the Early Bird breakfast burrito and a peanut butter latte. Everything was so delicious! I love how they grill the wrap, and their homemade sauce is awesome. The PB latte was sooo good, I'm glad I tried something new! The service was also awesome; Alexis at the front was super nice and helpful. When JJ and I were deciding somewhere to stop along the road and replenish ourselves with nutrients, you must understand, we were vanquished by the days of road tripping, and weary with the 6 hour drive that lay ahead past Mount Shasta. But like a crystal oasis in the Sahara desert, Drizzle was beyond fulfilling, and revitalized us back to the necessary energy we needed to finish out the day of driving.
