Very touristy and crowded restaurant. Came on a weekday and it was still packed and took a long time to get our food. However, the food is delicious and perfect after a long hike. I've been a regular at the original restaurant in Dunsmuir (Mother Ship) and had wanted to try this place. The location is further north in Mount Shasta and is a more modern approach to their traditional establishment. The corner location is nice and the building is fun and inviting. The menu seemed simpler/shorter than the original restaurant but they added other items (like health smoothies) creating a sense of difference. Luckily they offered the Jalapeño Burger (my favorite) and it was bomb. The seating is mainly outside so plan accordingly. It's a really cute small place with outdoor seating only. Great for groups as the tables seat 5-8 guests. I would highly recommend stopping here for a great coffee and burger. Not sure why anyone would give this place anything less than 5 stars. After reading the bad reviews & giving this place a chance, I can honestly say, this place is a must try!! They have a large outdoor area, the inside is very small & just for ordering. After you order, they give you a funky pick up name that they will call out through the mic & you pick up right around through the side window. There are napkins & utensils available there in case you forgot to grab it while inside. For the amount of people that were in front of me, a large family included, I want to say they called out my order name (Willy Wonka) with in 10 minutes which was very impressive. Kudos to the ladies in the kitchen, they were cooking Now, onto the food ... Where do I begin? The garlic fries had the right amount of garlic & my jalapeno burger was juicy & flavorful, those jalapeno chips were my favorite. The BBQ burger was also really good. We stopped at Yaks Shack on the way to Ashland, OR. It's located on a Main Street with easy access and street parking. Everything on the menu looked fresh and delicious but settled on a chicken sandwich with French fries. There was a delicious aioli sauce on the sandwich and fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Service was great. Only drawback is that there is no indoor seating and their patio has no space heaters. Get your order to go or bring a very heavy coat! read more

Breakfast is tricky for me. No gluten, no dairy, no eggs. But I do love going out to eat and the idea of brunch always sounds fun. Anyway, I'm always in the hunt for a good breakfast spot when we are traveling. We were in Mt Shasta and so happy to find this place!! Parking on the street. Order at the counter and yes there was a line but what do you expect for such delicious grub?! Service was fantastic - so friendly and helpful. They give you a ticket and call out over the mic when your food and/or drink is ready. I'm batman. Was a little concerned when we saw that all seating was outdoors - guessing they do a lot of takeout - but the weather was sunny and pleasant. Food was delicious. My fiancé and I arrived to the area after our Mount Shasta trek. It began to rain and we really needed to use the restroom, which we used first. First off, restroom is clean. We ordered one of the IPAs offered in the refrigerator as well as the cowboy hamburger with the garlic Parmesan fries upgrade. I shared this meal with him and we devoured it so quickly. We ended up buying the homemade honey barbecue and ranch bottles, their ketchup is also very good. They have a self bussing where you clean up after yourselves outside. I ended up coming back to order the mudslide which the waitress recommended to have it blended. Yum! Great find! read more

They give you a random stupid name for your order so your brain doesn't attend so well because it is not your name (bad gimic). You also can't hear your food being announced over the music and the announcer sounds garbled. Their audio is trash. Sometimes they leave customers food sitting next to the inside of the order window because they forgot to call our the order too. So food is sitting there getting cold (no heating lamps) while you wait for your food because it wasn't announced or they forgot to announce it. It was a LONG WAIT for food and customers kept coming to check if their order was ready. The server was annoyed and kept telling them it would be called out over the intercom despite the fact they (and I) could not hear what she was calling out. She didn't seem to believe when customers kept telling her "We can't hear you." I finally hear my order "drizzle your order has been ready" and thought WTF, I have been waiting by the pick up window the whole time!!! I got my order of "Little Hot Mess" fries. I said to the server "I hope these fries aren't cold," and she totally ignored it. So I tried to eat it...Tepid temperature at best. The bacon had 3 HUGE chunks of thick bacon fat in it (1 cm long each). I'm lucky I didn't get the violently ill!!! It was also DRENCHED in SALTY ranch dressing so I couldn't even taste the chicken in the dish and had to dig to find the chicken. The dish was a COLD SOGGY SALTY dish served to me with such indifference. I was so hungry after two hikes today that I tried to eat it, but under normal circumstances I would have asked for a refund.I really should have. It was cold and disgusting. My aunt got the BBQ-UEEN salad and said it was mostly fried onion served COLD (it was supposed to be hot) and not crispy/crunchy. They must make money off tourists, because if I was a local I would never go again!!! Their decor was cute which is what probably draws people in. You have to fight for seating when it's busy, everyone has to smash in to their TINY ordering area to purchase/order food, all seating is outdoor, and there is only one bathroom where you have to squeeze by the people packed into the ordering line to use it. If you are claustrophobic, like hot food, or don't want to worry about seating, go somewhere else. The staff are too busy to care about the customer and do not accommodate at all when orders are wrong. I sat by the pick up window and one customer said, "This is not what I ordered." They said,"We'll, that's what's on the receipt." They did not offer to fix it or anything. The guy sounded disappointed and the server just looked at him and waited for him to move on. The staff are young and don't seem trained to care about service. I was not given a receipt either which is quite funny because they also have a frozen yogurt place where you get a dollar off if you have a receipt. How do you get a discount with out a receipt???? I would like my money back. It was an awful experience and I could barely eat my food. Ever regret eating food? I just did. Sick. Gross. Don't do it unless you want to eat cold trash and be treated like hot trash. read more

Indeed, a nice selection of breakfast items. And our coffees came out quickly. But...they were cold by the time we got our food. Three orders ahead of us. Not sure why it took so long (nearly half an hour) to get a bagel with cream cheese and a breakfast burrito, but so it was. The breakfast burrito WAS tasty and hot. The bagel seemed freshly made. Both coffee orders were made....not as ordered. But...the service was so slow we decided not to reorder. The cappuccino (12 oz requested) was served in a larger cup and topped off with cream, so it was too creamy for the customer's taste. I'd requested their Mexican Mocha with half as much syrup as they usually use. Still WAAAAY too sweet, and WAAAAY too much cinnamon. Amazing! We were on our way to Bend, OR and stayed in Mt Shasta on our way. We found Drizzle and decided to give it a try because it looked like it had a good vibe. Definitely a good vibe! Outdoor seating, colorful sun shades and super friendly staff and great music! So far so good, right? Well let me tell you, we had one of the best burgers ever! Cooked perfectly, with lots of goodies on the inside... onion strings, fresh greens and the sauces, OMG!! And the fresh cut fries... I could make a meal with those. We left perfectly content with our meal. It was so good, we came back for breakfast!! Hubby had a breakfast sammy, (again, probably the best ever) and I had a breakfast burrito that was so big, I could only eat half. So, so delicious with all the yummy sauces dripping down our hands.
