Drizzle is right!! Mouth watering burger and salad!! We had the cranberry paradise salad and the OG burger. Salad had smoked chicken with a dry rubbing seasoning that was mouth watering! The OG burger knocked it out of the park with the jam packed flavors with the yummy sauce and crispy onions. Man they know what they are doing. The sauces are all home made and they have a few available to purchase. We got the bbq sauce that we are excited to try. Overall, food had lots of flavor and we enjoyed every bite. read more

Meh. Came here for a sweet treat since many things close early in this town. It seemed to be the only option for something sweet and cooling. The sign had ice cream on a cone pictured but soon we found they do not have ice cream nor cones. They serve frozen yogurt in a few flavors and a variety of toppings. The cookie dough bites I got in my vanilla froyo were a strange darker brown color, looked like they were sitting out and old. After tasting them, I'd guess old. We were visiting the area and Yaks was highly recommended by locals. Nice patio seating area in the central business district, with a great view of Mt Shasta. My burger (Jalapeño) had too much going on. The sauce made the whole thing soggy and difficult to eat. I found the burger to lack flavor and overrun by the sauce. A friend told me that this place has the best hamburgers he has ever had. And so I came! And, yes, it is true, I had the best hamburger I have ever had in a restaurant, right here at Yaks Shack! Got "don't go back in my heart burger" to share and it was good. Wasn't asked what temp so I think it was medium well. Also got a tangerine hef from the cooler, which was pretty good. I had a lot of hope for this place after reading the reviews and seeing the photos. The food does look good and the dishes have potential but I'd say my favorite thing I got was the cookie. I ordered the Hot Mess fries and my wife order the Southwest Chipotle bowl. First the fries were sooo salty. The chicken on top was cooked well and flavorful but that was all stolen by the salty fry. There wasn't much cheese on it and I'm glad I got a side of BBQ sauce because the ranch was not something you could really taste. I thought I ordered the worst thing but then I tried my wife's. There was no flavor at all! It was just rice with a few beans sprinkled in. It tasted nothing like "Southwest" anything and the chipotle sauce was weak. If you're going through Mt. Shasta try somewhere else. read more

Had several friends recommend Yaks Shack. They told me the burgers were big and delicious. My friends were absolutely right! My wife had the OG burger with garlic parm fries. My son and myself had the OG burger"Don't Go Bacon My Heart Burger" with garlic parm fries as well. The ambience and street side dining was awesome and "hip." The staff snd service were friendly, courteous and quickly took our order, patiently answering any of our questions since it was our first time. Our order was prepared fresh and served hot. The burgers were cooked medium (which I prefer) and did not disappoint in size, flavor snd presentation. The bun was amazing! The onion straws were fabulous. The bacon was crispy and perfectly salted. With all these wonderful things, what prompted such a mediocre review was the garlic, Parmesan fries. And I mean GARLIC! The fries were fresh cut, and perfectly cooked. But, there was so much garlic, nothing else could be tasted. And this wasn't just my order. None of us ate our fries. Each attempt brought a new level of intense, overwhelming garlic that punched the tongue into numbness. And it wasn't a cooked garlic flavor but the "hot" flavor of raw garlic. Very disappointing since it was an upgrade with additional cost. Whereas I would definitely recommend going to Yaks for a burger. I'd seriously suggest staying away from the garlic. It's been three hours since eating there and writing this post and I'm still tasting raw garlic. Price for three burgers was $80 including the 15% tip we gave. This place was previously called the Yak Shack and recently changed their name but the food is still awesome!! We love the burgers and bowls. The lava bowl has serious spice and a lovely smoky flavor. Their sauces are what makes them unique- loved the jalapeño lime aioli. Don't forget the garlic Parmesan fries! read more

Yak shake has changed to Drizzle ! The ambiance is amazing the burgers are mediocre. The bread is cold and not as brioche as it looks.

we were driving through town and hungry. Saw the sign for Drizzle. Started to drool right there. Went inside and found great throwback vibe (we were young in the 60s.) Awesome food.
